Thanks Santa … I did make the input to EA Answers … both in the closed forum and in the regular EA Answers HQ forum … I just don't think anything will come of it. Not trying to be cynical, I just don't think they're the right forums and at this point, I don't know where to find the right one.

And I don't want our guest to think I was dumping on him … and it's not an area I would expect Chris to have any part in … just that I know he lurks and he might have the ability to pass it on to those who could help.

Part of my frustration is that a company doesn't have to be the size of Amazon or Microsoft to get it right. You buy the sales tax software (I think most are subscriptions) and your "cash register" calculates the tax, based on the person's ZIP code (at least here in the US). For small businesses, it can be onerous, because the software isn't always so cheap and they may not have many sales across the US. But for a large business, with a broader sales base, it should not be an issue.

Origin store had this problem back in the day, buying stuff for ME2, they would charge me the wrong price. Eventually they fixed it and ME3, DAI, MEA, anything else, they charged me the correct amount. Now they're back to screwing it up. Again, not dumping on Chris … he had no part in this. But the EA bubbas need to get their feces consolidated, if they are going to restrict pre-order online PC game sales to their Origin store.  I just want Chris to up channel it to the right folks.  I don't believe I'm the only person in the US experiencing this, just the one whining about it.  Believe me, if Anthem Legion of Dawn for PC was available anywhere else for pre-order, I'd be there in a flash.

Oh, one last thing … thank you for up channeling it through your contacts.  For both you and Chris, I really do appreciate the help with something that's not your job.
