Michael Gamble @gamblemike Trials are a collection of feats of challenges for you to do. Do them and you get Coin!
I had some questions about Feats. Feats are expedition specific. They change- and it’s a bug you can see them in Tarsis. CHALLENGES persist. If you are tracking the tomb stuff, you want to take a look at your challenges section.
James Berg @jamesbergcanada Bioware story fans! If you were like me, and did a careful sweep of the Normandy after every Mass Effect mission to talk to all your companions, well, check for these icons in Fort Tarsis.
There's a heckuva lot of Bioware story here And keep an eye out for codex entries!
Imperator Furiåsa @devilkitten I have this thing for bad boys. Consequently, I have a massive crush on the Monitor. I totally blame the voice actor (who is still to be revealed). I guess it’s in keeping with my gooey feelings for Anders & Solas.
Your Anthem @anthemyour Ok... after playing for nearly 20 hours I’ve got to ask... where are the rest of the armor sets and customizations? Is it a level 30/end game thing to get access to them to purchase? Or just not in the early access? Either way, something doesn’t add up. 🤔
Ben Irving @benirvo We have more coming, they are tied to a feature. Will talk about it soon (next week hopefully).
“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”
Michael Gamble @gamblemike A few bugs which are improved in Day 1 (thread) 1. Getting shot by invisible people. This is streaming related. Especially on slower/full hard drives. Patch makes it much better. 2. Crashes/disconnects when talking to people in Fort. This is faction point related. Fixed 3. Loading screens rarely not completing. More fixes there. 4. Audio disappearing:
5. Opening chests (counting challenges) will have a large radius. If anyone in your squad opens it, you should get credit for the open. 6. Fixed an issue where some folks said they had completed all of the trials but couldn’t get into the tomb 7. Performance on ALL platforms will continue upward. Smoother frame rate, fixed hitches. Etc 8. Xbox settings not being saved for some folks is fixed

I noticed the option to buy/unlock cosmetic personalizations directly from the Forge in the two "Demos" we've played. Is that still the case, and the Prospero store just shows the "Featured" personalizations, or is that inaccurate?

Big Papi @southerlandjl @bio_Warner @benirvo @biomarkdarrah why on earth are quickplay missions not locked to missions you’ve done? People can be spoiled like this, seems a major oversight
Forkboy_Gaming @forkboy_Gaming I thought there was like a talent tree that you could use with your pilot. Am I mistaken?
Ben Irving @benirvo This was available in an early version of the game. It fell short for a bunch of reasons. We moved the functionality to the components system which allows for the play style choices we wanted originally. We have some plans for the old pilot skill system@coming after launch
Nullific @nullifics I just got another Masterworks and it revealed into Avenger's Boon again.... There is a bug guys or I need to buy a lottery ticket.
Ben Irving @benirvo Before you enter GM1 there is a small pool of masterwork weapons you have access to (I think it’s 6). Once you enter GM1, the full range of weapons, gear and components becomes available
This is the first I've heard that some high level equipment is locked out unless you're playing on GM1 or above. Is this the Anthem equivalent of raid gear?
Edit: By raid gear, I mean equipment accessible to only those who complete certain content (for those not familiar with mmo terms). I would be fine with some items being tied to certain locations, like a stronghold, but I don't agree with locking out players who don't play on GM levels from a chunk of the loot pool.
P.S. I hope the edit makes sense, I haven't had coffee yet.
It's not. It is a nice little bonus, maybe you get lucky before hitting level 30 (and being able to play GM1).
It kind of is. He point blank says that the full pool is not available unless playing on GM1 or higher, even if you're level 30 (the level that unlocks GM difficulties).
Mɪᴋᴇ Mᴀsᴇʀ @mikemaser Can the full range of loot drop on any difficulty after unlocking GM1 or do you have to play on GM1 or higher?
Jesse Anderson @darokaz I'm working on the #AnthemGame patch notes for this week, there are a lot of fixes and QOL improvements coming. I'll post them for everyone to see once the patch is live (possibly earlier).
Chris Harvey @barefootsupe Kudos to @animatrik and the performers for some great motion capture work and even capturing skydivers for the flying fight sequence! @oatsstudios @neillblomkamp #AnthemGame #anthem #mocap #motioncapture

No question mocap capture takes time, resources and effort. Let's hope the cost is put into good effect in the game.

Actually, animations of the javelins and people in tarsis (during conversations) are top notch! so, kudos.

No more tired faces.
It's much easier if all the interactions can be pre-rendered first-person affairs that don't rely on in-engine routines having to take account of different user choices in terms of character appearance or gear or multiple dialogue options. Animating a game like MEA and a game like Anthem are two completely different ball games, as I understand it.

I admit. The Monitor is intriguing. More so because I recognize the voice. I just can't pin down a name. My guess is Lance Hendrikson.

Not really. A lot of these animations and conversations depend on presets and assets that would have to be present and active regardless of whether the game has multiple choices or 3rd/1st person perspective. Animations are simply way more complex and crisper than what we saw before in Bioware games, which is a good sign for any future title.
