Morning guys, got a question, is there an in-game lore reason why all of our items drop as coloured crystals? Is it like destiny and their engrams? Inquiring minds in the @anthemuniverse discord chat would like to know! Thanks

We've started our #AnthemGame scheduled maintenance, Freelancers. We estimate to have the game back up at 3:30 p.m. UTC (10:30 a.m. CT), but we'll let you know if anything changes. Once completed, you'll need to download a game update before jumping back in.

There are a couple of issues with loot that the team is investigating and working on a fix for in #AnthemGame
1. Bosses not dropping a guaranteed masterwork in Strongholds.
2. Loot being picked up by others in your group. (note: you still get the loot though)

80 % of the legendarys (and MW) which I get (and I dont get alot) are for javelins I‘m not even playing. I like the idea for MW, but I would like to get legendarys exclusivly with the class Im actually playing with.

So, is this loot behaviour intended or still bugged?

Not intended, we're still looking into why this is happening. We've narrowed it down significantly (current thinking is that it may be related to how loot tables are filtered).

Before the weekend hits I wanted to give a quick update to the #AnthemGame community. The team is still working on the next big update, including new content that we announced on the roadmap.

We’re also working on a smaller update to fix some recent issues including:
1. Elysian Caches not showing the rewards you got right away.
2. Loot dropping for javelins that you aren’t currently using.
3. The newsfeed not showing up properly.

I'm also working on the next livestream, which may be delayed a bit off the two week cadence we've been going with. I really want to show everyone the new content we're working on, but I also want to make sure it's ready to present 🙂

Lastly, we're still working to address a lot of the reports we've been getting on players not being able to complete challenges, missing percentages on items (visual bug) and more. Stay tuned for more updates next week!
