Quantic Dream games are action-advetures too, also using cinematic story telling. Or something like Naughty Dog games. If BioWare's new game will be something like those, then it is fine by me.  |

Normally I don't give two craps what they say but what they talked about the secret IP being a sort of Destiny or Division game got me thinking and I'm not sure if it's been discussed here.
Any thoughts?

Is there any chance of a survival/something game? The image in the OP that MAY have been from the Secret IP had a very Fallout-esque vibe to it. Would fit into the action/adventure category + they are often first person (I think ME is all third-person, yes?) and could easily incorporate RPG "elements" and story/character progression. Yes/No/Maybe? Maybe? Not every survival game would qualify as action-adventure. I don't think it'll be a first person game though, Bioware has never made a first person game and all action-adventure games I can think of are third person. A cool, little gift was sent to MEA's QA dept. In the picture there though, who is that on the far right side...? I don't recognize it. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but does anyone recognize where it's from?  Is the right woman really Sara Ryder? There's a few things that seem odd, but I might be seeing wrong, because of blurriness: - The hair seems slicked back, rather them what we've seem; - There's this black and red (purple?) plate on her chest, but might only be a different armor; - Her left arm... seems shaped like a sword or a javelin of sorts. Or maybe it's just that there is something else in front of her? Also, far right d00d is a completely new alien with a sniper rifle, or something like this. I could see him as an enemy in Destiny, or a similar game. |

Yeah, The point I was making with the SWTOR example is that Bioware has already shown they can integrate their Player Created Character+Companions+Dialogue Choice+Strong Narrative formula into an online multiplayer experience. So there's little reason to expect any of that to go away. |
