The only reason I will watch ea play is to see if they finally give us a real name for Bioware's secret ip and a bit more info on what kind of game it is. I'm going to be pissed if they still don't do that, but odds look good that we will get at least those things tomorrow so I feel moderately hopeful.

Anyway, i did some research and find another people who working on "Dylan" some of them are Mass Effect/Kotor veterans. Parish Ley (Lead cinematic animator)- He worked on Mass Effect trilogy and has been in development in early stages, Nathan Zufelt is credited as Cinematic animator now, so i dont know. He was Casey Hudson's right hand, maybe he left after Casey's departure. At this point I'm just hoping they show enough so I can tell whether to be interested or not. If they're smart, and they remember what happend to No Man's Sky, they should not come anywhere close to that level of detail. But it would be GREAT if they confirmed, without a shadow of a doubt, that their "disruptive online whatsit" didn't interfere with a solid story-driver SP action game. I want to hear a statement like, "You can play online or offline" or "There's a great SP campaign too." That would be fantastic. Not that I'm anti-MP online -- Nier:Automata has what I would call a disruptive online element, but it wasn't hyped at all, and so was a big surprise to everyone, and was a powerful and appreciated one at that, enhancing the SP experience without damaging it -- while supporting a fully offline experience as well. I just have zero confidence in Bioware's ability to do something disruptive, or that disruptive is necessarily a good thing. The online part is either going to be a me-too, or so weird that no one will understand if it has value or not. |

EA Play is something to look forward to at least. My expectations are super low as far as how much info we get, but it will be nice to have an actual name and possibly a new subforum for speculation. After my disappointment in MEA I've kinda lost interest in games so finding something to get excited about even if it's not a Bioware game, would be nice.

For me? A full single player experience. I don't mind if it requires you to be online, but it needs to be seperate from the multiplayer and have companions, dialogue system and so on.

I'm not interested in anything that looks cartoony or superhero stuff, but something Victorian like or modern with a twist would interest me greatly. I'm hoping the genre is horror or at least has horror elements. |

Games that are too stylized or "cartoony" tend to not hold my interest for very long if at all, but BioWare has changed my mind on things before so I wouldn't say it's a must for me. Or, at the very least, have a strong choice-based narrative 2) A single player experience in which not one reward, not one cosmetic design, not one line of dialogue, is hidden behind a MP wall.
