Bits and pieces of Austin are helping out both the Mass Effect and Secret IP teams. They also made some DLC for DA:I.
(I think when Shadow Realms was cancelled, they moved some of those devs onto helping out other Bioware projects.)

... well, sort of.
Hopefully they have continuous building, but even if it's just a daily build, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. You can have a working build that just loads the Bioware logo at the start and does nothing else. That's all the installer team needs to get started.
Breaking the build for the first time in 5 months is actually quite good, in my experience (mobile software, not game related). They either have really good submission tools that help find breakages before the rest of the team sees them, or sammaggs is a crack dev. Average time for new engineers to break the build for the first time is closer to 1 month in what I've seen. And I still see very senior engineers break the build from time to time. Breaking the build isn't usually too big a deal, if you fix it right away. It's the idiots that submit 5 minutes before leaving for home that break the build and then leave it broken overnight that drive me nuts.

Depending on what type of files you're working with you're more or less likely to break the build than others. Writing is usually a bit safer while Programming is definitely the most likely to break it. That said, it's usually not a big deal unless it's near the end of a project in which case fire will rain down upon your desktop...or if, like you said, someone throws something broken in and then heads home and doesn't check phone email

If it is the Secret IP, it definitely gives us more to speculate on...
The state of the equipment along with the style of their clothes is giving me a slight post-apocalyptic vibe.
They all seem to have googles, hoods and scarves - harsh environment? Scavengers? People trying to maintain this old facility?
Light clothes - someplace warm? The one in the baggy trousers makes me think this facility is in the desert somewhere.
Contemporary looking technology - Near future? There's what looks like a possible turbine (or near future tech) generator and I see a modern-day step ladder in the background.
Things to think about for sure!
