Karin mentioned that the editors / writers are shared across all Bioware properties. That partially explains why the tone is off in MEA -- they probably get mixed up on what is the appropriate tone, per game.
Like if I were hired to write for the TV shows Scandal and Kevin Can Wait at the same time. i would never know what to do.

Does the Krogan Engineer praise "fresh weapons" like they are fresh veggies in the english voicing too? Never heard her say that but she is definitely the female teenage stoner of the bunch. I think there is room for SOME comic relief characters in the game but when ALL of them are like that it's annoying. Kind of a 2000s/2010s mentality: everything is 'meta' and a joke. We can't take honest enjoyment in anything. Everything has to be sarcastic. OK when you are a teenager (yes, I remember being a sarcastic ass at that age) but no OK all the fucking time for every character. |

Even at that though - the dialog treatment in ME:A's MP is so fucking far off mark. I'm pretty sure 100% sure I could go to the Starbucks around the corner, pick up some random college kids, have them youtube some ME trilogy cutscenes, and have them write superior dialog to what's been injected in ME:A's MP. To even think that PAID full-time writers were involved - what the fuck. |

Even stranger is how I get voice lines about "Kett genetic modification devices" when the objective is devices, no matter against which faction I play against.  |

It's pretty much been demonstrated that the team working on Andromeda's multiplayer learned nothing from ME3MP. Many of the issues in MEAMP were already corrected in ME3MP, so for them to be an issue again only confirms the stupidity of the dev team. |
