Having got the achievements for playing the higher difficulties, I usually just play on Veteran with ME2 or ME3. I loathe the game play in ME1 so much though, that anytime I play that game, its on Casual.

I did ME2 on insanity once. That was an experience.  I fall back to normal settings after. The other two; ME1 and ME3, are all on casual or normal difficulty. |

2 and 3 always in Insanity. 1 always in hardcore (casual in Pinnacle Station). My mistake. 1 is always in veteran. I played hardcore once. The difficult in me1 is weird. Veteran is easy and hardcore is not THAT hard, but so much bullet sponges. Takes forever to kill a krogan with imunity if you only use guns. I like the priority of the targets. Always go for krogan first. Then asaris/biotics, snipers, engenieers, turians and then the rest. Course, sometimes they all come in a wave, so there is no choice, only shoot and spam powers and hope for the best. |

For those who are talking they play ME3 in the easiest difficulties. Dahell my people?
I am no master of controls and I find this game TOO easy. I've tried it once and now I'm trying again to finish the game with the infiltrator, but it's complicated, I get bored first. It's almost like I've been stealing.

It's almost like I've been stealing. ME3 does seem markedly easier than ME2, though personally I think that's a consequence of ME2 being too difficult. ME2 seems to be largely "fake" difficulty anyway (insane amounts of crossfire giving you very little opportunity to pop out of cover and shoot before having a multi-second wait for shields to recharge). (Disclaimer: I'm a Normal-level scrub attempting to play ME2 on Insanity  ) |
