When I drop a buck or 70 on a game and I don't like it, I shrug and go do something else.

But for some people the act of dropping bucks enslaves them to whatever it was dropped on.

I know the feeling. Andromeda has a lot of weaknesses, but I kept playing because it's called Mass Effect and was made by Bioware, a company that I used to love. No matter what, I kept hoping that the game would surprise me, that if I played more I would get to the good stuff or something like that. That it wouldn't be as bad as the reviewers said.

And to be honest, there were some cool moments in Andromeda, it's not a total loss. It's an ok-ish game.

I've got to say...

There is no going backwards with Mass Effect. I'm not comparing it to Inquisition, but just comparing it to Mass Effect 3. The canvas is beautiful and I feel way more involved in the action portion of the game. Oh, but it has flaws (namely AI and squad control, write those scripts damn it) but I appreciate the Frostbite feel of the game. I do like the distinct voices, all 1000+ and just in real life, awkward as hell. Oh yeah. However, I'm okay with it. It's not what I expected or hoped for, but I got something that I can run about two hours a day. I can't wait for the PC version on the new rig. PS4 is alright, though.

I think the main reason people hate this game is that the first 3 set the bar too high. Even compared to ME1, this game feels kinda lacking(The Mako had weapons on it, the Nomad does not). However, as I see it. I can replay the first 3 which I have done multiple times, play a non-Mass Effect shooter without Space Magic, or play ME:A.

Im having regular bowel movements and my new tattoo is healing, Im adjusting well to having glasses of course but thats natural.

Speaking of change Im giving up smoking and exercise is really paying off had to put a few kilos on because of surgery and not being able to lift for a few weeks. Outside of that though we're on track for a record good run.

Much needed after we lost the family business and I spiralled into depression.

Got better and now I'm feeling cocky again.

So compared to last year things are incredible.

You're right. You know what I do? Tell me themikefest. I want to know what to do. I will. Start another playthrough. I've completed many playthroughs already. Stopped playing for a week and now currently working on 2 playthroughs at the same time. What really helped is speedruns. I've done 3 of those. Try one. :devil:

Another helpful tip is go do something that you really hate doing. After a few minutes of doing whatever, playing MEA will be a breeze. :devil:
