Come playoffs, I'm keeping an eye on Seattle, new Orleans, Kansas City (whom I think might repeat) and maybe, just maybe Baltimore if lemar Jackson can take the next step with the passing game, the Ravens can control that division if he can make it happen, especially once Pittsburgh loses roethlisburger to retirement.
Pittsburgh though just seems to always play down to their opponents and I don't like it, they under estimate who they play to often come post season.

Pittsburgh though just seems to always play down to their opponents and I don't like it, they under estimate who they play to often come post season. This week's game against the Rams will say a lot about how the rest of the Seahawks season may go and whether we have to struggle for a wildcard slot or rebound to take our division, which we haven't done since 2014. The Seahawks loss to the Bills last week revealed some serious structural problems with both our offense and defense. I expect both Kansas City and Buffalo to do well in the playoffs. The Steelers have a QB who in recent years has missed large chunks of seasons due to injury. A big part of their success this season depends on how well they continue to protect Ben Roethlisberger. I expect them to be in the playoffs along with the Saints, the Packers, and the Titans who all lead their divisions right now. The Ravens should at least get a wild card slot. Miami doesn't appear to be a threat to the Bills, but they're really interesting to watch right now because of Tua Tagovailoa.

The Seahawks-Cardinals game Thursday is looking really big now.
Speaking of the Cardinals, what the hell was that? That play never works.

Lotta Washington fans blaming chase young for giving Detroit that free 15 yard game roughing the passer, but tbh if one play is what decided that game then Washington didn't deserve to win.
We had missed field goals that could've won the game, our #1 passing defense didn't look like a #1 pass defense (hell I didn't know Washington was the #1 pass defense till yesterday but apparently they're ranked as it for now). They also ran the ball pretty well and the offense had a hard time scoring even if we had 400 yards passing. Alex Smith looked good being the game manager that he is, but that offense really should've scored more than they did.
Chase young penalty was indeed dumb, but if field goals were made or had the offense and defense played better overall, that one penalty would'nt have mattered in the end. What's irking me is I have actually seen some fans say to bench the guy which I find ridiculous. He's really not playing bad for a rookie and it's possible he hits double digit sacks by the end of the season. Mistakes do happen (even if his was a dumb one). The guy also demands double teaming which for a rookie is a good advantage to use. I can see him really being a nuisance for offensive lines and QBs as he gets a few years if experience.
I did see a few other games as well, the Packers are looking to take off and maybe come playoff time they can be a real threat, I just don't know if they'll have enough to get far though once they make it.
I saw Buffalo lose a close one to Arizona on that crazy hail Mary pass as well, honestly both teams are looking pretty good overall compared to where they were the last few seasons.
The Ravens I'm starting to doubt more and more as they lose. I was surprised to see them lose to the Patriots but lemar really needs to take that next step to really solidify the Ravens owning that division,
Pittsburgh I think can very likely end the season at 14-2 or 15-1, I'd even say 16-0 is possible given how easy their schedule has been, but it's hard for anyone to win all 16 no matter what and there's still a few games they can possibly lose. I see them beating Jacksonville next week, the Ravens are after and that's one they can potentially lose, then following that I see them just destroying Washington, then there's the bills, Bengals, colts and browns. 4 of those teams are above 500 at the moment but ideally.....I think only Baltimore or buffalo can beat them. I think Pittsburgh has to really play bad to lose to the colts or browns.
As for my team and their division: the Giants actually have the best winning streak going at 2 in a row I believe, and it's moved them into a tie for division lead with 3 wins lmao. I would bet money a 5-11 record wins the division, and gets to host a home field playoff game. (I can see the NFL finally reworking how play off seeding works after this year, lately there have been quite a few losing records getting into the playoffs over teams with better records).

I don't know how you get there. If division winners aren't actually in, what's the point of divisions? I actually think divisions are pointless tbh and it should be conference only. The division is becoming a little bit of a joke lately when losing teams get home field advantage and a playoff spot when other teams can seriously have 4 more wins and miss the playoffs. Instead of divisions, I'd just do the top 10 from each conference or something instead. There's still potential a losing team gets in at some point I'm sure, but doing it by conference only will also decrease the likely hood of it happening.

There's a very good chance Washington, Dallas, Philly or new York (Giants) get it with a 5-11 record, that's terrible lol. It'd piss me off as well if im a 10-6 team what doesn't get in over that. It's just something that I believe needs changed and at least they have talked about it, hopefully it changes this coming up off season.

What would be funny is a 5-11 team gets in the playoffs to face a 12-4 team, or a better record, only for that winning team to lose. I wonder what people would think if that 5-11 team were to win the Superbowl?

I wonder what people would think if that 5-11 team were to win the Superbowl? 2010/11 Seattle at 7-9 beat New orleans 11-5 so that type of thing can happen but the NFC East so is utterly awful that it would be a shock if they could win a game. I guess philly might be the best bet s at let they have some experience going far.

Week 11 here are my picks: Thursday, 11/19/20 Arizona Cardinals(6-3) @ Seattle Seahawks(6-3)_____SEAHAWKS _____________ Edit: Returned early Saturday, 11/21/20 to finish my week 11 picks How about those Seahawks! Sunday, 11/22/20 Cincinnati Bengals(2-6-1) @ Washington(2-7)_____WASHINGTON Upset pick. The Bengals are favored to win this game, but I'd like Washington to win one for Coach Rivera. He's had a rough year. Atlanta Falcons(3-6) @ New Orleans Saints(7-2)_____SAINTS I think it will take more than Drew Brees being benched for a team like the 2020 Falcons to beat the 2020 Saints. Pittsburgh Steelers(9-0) @ Jacksonville Jaguars(1-8)_____STEELERS And the Steelers will go to 10-0. Their fans must be in 7th heaven already. New England Patriots(4-5) @ Houston Texans(2-7)_____PATRIOTS I don't understand what happened to the Texans this year. Week 12 picks Thursday, 11/26/20 Thanksgiving Day Games Houston Texans(3-7) @ Detroit Lions(4-6)_____TEXANS Washington(3-7) @ Dallas Cowboys(3-7)_____WASHINGTON Upset pick. I'll return later to finish this... ___________ It's now early Saturday morning and here's the rest of my picks. Sunday, 11/29/20 Miami Dolphins(6-4) @ New York Jets(0-10)_____DOLPHINS Arizona Cardinals(6-4) @ New England Patriots(4-6)_____CARDINALS The more I read about Covid-19 "long haulers", the more I wonder if Cam Newton is experiencing after-effects from his illness that he doesn't want to talk about. Carolina Panthers(4-7) @ Minnesota Vikings(4-6)_____PANTHERS I hope they'll start P.J. Walker again, but I hear Teddy Bridgewater is ready to play. Christian McCaffrey is questionable for Sunday. Cleveland Browns(7-3) @ Jacksonville Jaguars(1-9)_____BROWNS Tennessee Titans(7-3) @ Indianapolis Colts(7-3)_____COLTS New York Giants(3-7) @ Cincinnati Bengals(2-7-1)_____BENGALS Joe Burrow is out for the season and a replacement QB hasn't been named at this time. Newly returned RB Carlos Hyde really saved the day for us. Rookie guard Damien Lewis moved to center and did very well in that position. Chris Carson is expected back for week 12. Sadly, TE Greg Olsen could be out for at least the next month due to a torn plantar fascia. *Tuesday, 12/1/20 make up game... I have some doubts about whether this game will be played. Baltimore Ravens(6-4) @ Pittsburgh Steelers(10-0)_____STEELERS No Teams have a bye this week.

Washington now leads the division 👍 it's always nice to best the cowboys, especially on turkey day.
Looking at the rest of the schedule, Pittsburgh, San Fransisco, Seattle, Carolina and then Philadelphia, I think I can only see them winning two out of those 5 and that's be Carolina and Philadelphia. If they do that, they'll end the season at 6-10 which likely wins the division unless someone goes on a hot streak to finish 8-8 or 9-7. Washington "could" end 9-7 if they win out the rest but I'm like 5% confident they will only pull out two more wins at the most.
