I have two Ryder's which are in contrasting headcanon continuities of two separate commander Shepard's. They are both named Sara so they can be referred to by their first name at times.
The first:
She was a jack of all trades in both personality and combat; using the explorer profile. With the dhan shotgun and black widow for range, coupled with tactical cloak/energy drain/charge (all potential shield regenerating powers), insanity difficulty wasn't very hard. By the end of the game, casual, logical, professional, and emotional were only a few points off from one another. Also, her choices were fairly inconsistent; making her hard to read.
- Romanced PeeBee (no zero G)
⦁ Sara could be confrontational with PeeBee's nature; partially feeling the need to "fix" her
- Also romanced Reyes while PeeBee was making up her mind what she wanted, but it ended after saving Sloane during the duel (didn't shoot him)
⦁ Ryder saved her out of impulse, but they both suck as choices
- Chose a military outpost on Eos
⦁ There are kett all over the damn place and you're not going to be armed to the teeth?!
- Felt like Suvi's counselor and supported the deist possibility
- Sided with Gil over Kallo
⦁ Is their any reason to side with Kallo? The tempest isn't a piece of art to gawk at. It has to stay practical.
- Exiled the saboteur, Andromeda's first murderer turian, and Spender, but brought back those Podromos smugglers into the fold out of pity
- Didn't give in to the protestors' demands
⦁ Besides being very impractical, it would set a dangerous precedent
- Told coma Scott that Alec was alive and that things were going great with the colonies
⦁ The doctor's eye roll made it all worth it
- Gave the ancient AI to the angara
⦁ This was done partially because the electrocuted angara was a moron, and the AI was not going to be given any privileges after it killed him out of spite
- Blew up the kett exaltation facility and had to deal with Jaal's off-and-on complaining throughout the rest of the game
⦁ Considering how the angara didn't even know exaltation existed after all this time until now, Ryder had no faith they were going to retake the facility before the remaining angaran prisoners get exalted
- Fed Keri political BS the entire game which led to her hiding in her apartment instead of getting imprisoned
- Cheated at poker and mum's the word
- Kept Verand under lock and key
⦁ This was partially done because it was the only way to punish Liam for treason
- Didn't shoot Aksuul even though he deserved it because it was obvious what would happen afterwards
- Didn't approve of Sid smuggling rebels back into her colonies
- Let Drack drop that ringleader (duh)
- Kept Sarissa's secret
⦁ No way was an asari who needed to be told to breathe becoming pathfinder
-Shot Kalinda, PeeBee buys a new pod
⦁ "Choosing between an important piece of alien tech and a pain in the ass outlaw trying to kill us? Easy decision."
- Purposely didn't complete "The Little things that matter" because you can't punish the doctor
⦁ Looks like the first baby of Andromeda is going to die or get exalted
- Let the contagion lady get killed
⦁ Ryder found her to be a pain and she was going to die anyway
- Saved Raeka + salarians over the krogan scrouts
⦁ Screw Drack and his typical salarian racism. "Focus on what went right," Drack.
- Helped Knight's son and convinced her to stand down
- Returned the oblivion formula to the doctor
- Turned the Cerberus scientists' experiment on themselves
- Let Avitus pull an Alistair and become a wandering drunk
- Didn't let the angara woman keep her water
- Didn't give Barrett the weapon stockpile
⦁ Be thankful you exiles got a new home
- Gave Morda the drive core
- Let the evil salarian doctor go free in exchange for kett intel which seems to be basically a family tree and a few maps
- Made a deal with the primus and uploaded the kill code
- Chose Morda as ambassador
⦁ The silver lining was that it would solidify the krogan's place in the initiative, but it's all BS that Ryder couldn't be chosen because a few naysayer idiots would actually suggest she saved the galaxy to elevate herself instead of... to save the galaxy.
The second Ryder looks pretty much like those custom asian ones you see from head 1. The games customization options feel very limited because, IMO, only heads 1, 5, and 8 look decent at all. She was logical/casual with a love for science. There were some changes like an outpost for research, cheating on Liam with PeeBee before dumping him for her, then cheating on her with Keri, and Moshae as ambassador.
It's a shame the personality role-playing is so limited in this game as I haven't felt justification for any further playthroughs to try something new.
