I'm afraid this is all I know at the time. I don't think they've yet unveiled anything about the system requirements but I hope they hold to February as the month to do so in. It'd be nice to have the knowledge in good time for those that may have to make adjustments or similar efforts to play the game.

Also, today is Valentine's Day so I think they may be posting about romanceable companions so everybody into the bunkers!

I think I remember reading that in the Gameinformer interview. There were a lot of interesting bits in that cover story although I wouldn't recommend people here reading it since it also contains all kinds of spoilers.

The development team said very early on that they intended to look back on the Mass Effect trilogy with old and new eyes to look at the good, the bad and the could-have-been. It seems they really did do that because there seems to be old ideas that are brought back but improved. There are also news ones in addition to the old ones. Of course how well these ideas are executed we will have to wait and see in the game itself but it all seems very promising to me. I really have to try and keep my excitment down least I end up overhyping the game so much to myself that it could never hope to live up to that hype  Thank god, March is around the corner.

Still avoiding ME:A news, still playing ME3 to keep myself busy. Currently FemShep and Wrex are trying out some krogan diplomacy at SurKesh. We will see how it goes.

Me too. Just started ME3 in my trilogy run last night. Shepard and crew are hanging out in the Mars base waiting for orders......

1 month from today early access will be available.

It's interesting to see how many people are starting a playthrough either of a specific game or of the entire trilogy. I know someone who dosen't even frequent forums but who still has a desire to do the same brought on by Andromeda. It's oddly fascinating. I'm doing a modded run of Mass Effect 3 myself since I have an unfinished playthrough and I don't think I'll have time to do a trilogy run.

By the way, is anyone interested in a spoiler-free video of the character creator if it is possible? I was thinking of making one for this thread during early access for the people who want to see the cc but don't want to risk Youtube. I'd tag it, of course, for those that don't want to see the content.  

I just realized how much I'm looking forward to hearing the female voice. Unlike the male one, I've only ever heard that one line from the end of the N7 Day trailer. When it came out who the voice actress was, I tried looking up some of her other work but I don't know if she's like Mark Meer whose voice can be different depending on his role.

 Speaking of which, I've recently watched the old interviews with the voice cast. It's oddly fascinating to see how some of their voices differ when recording and when not recording.

I've been curious myself but haven't gone looking since I think I've heard that one of the videos with Sara features companions. You could ask SofaJockey but I think it might be a subjective thing since I thought she looked fine.

I don't know about actual video, but on Amazon, there is a new set of images and there is a picture of Sara, without a helmet on in one of them.

I think what you were planning on doing, to make a video for each gender while creating the character you want for each playthrough sounds like a good idea. If you could just scroll through some of the hair and skin tone options as you were creating your characters, just so we could see some of the options, that would be great. That's really awesome for you to do that and it's much appreciated since YouTube and other sites might have some spoilers in it. Also, I love the new space pup avatar

I think the only thing I don't care for about the default Sara is her hair. It looks fine from the front but I remember seeing a side shot of her and not being terrible front of how her pony tail looked. That's just me, though. I think I still have the picture lying around. Her neck looks a bit wierd on it, I remember, but I think it's because of the angle and not the game having wierd necks in general.

I am planning on showing as much of the character creator as I can so I intend to go through all of the options but I would divide some of them into an overview and the rest into the actual creation of the characters video. In the overview, I would be showing every option of things such as hair, complexions, scars, tattoos and that sort including colors. I'd be showing the hair from the front, sides and back. Given that hair now has motion, it'd also showcase which hair has noticeable motion to it. I'd be showing the complexion options with fair skin and dark skin since there can be a visibility difference. The creation videos are where I'd go in-depth with facial experimentation and sliders pertaining to that. I have ten hours so I should be able to show it all.

As it is now, it should amount to four videos total. Two for overview of male and female options respectively and two for male and female character creations respectively. I'll edit anything that constitute as a spoiler to keep it safe for everybody. This also includes things such as character creator intros.
