Guys, got word that we have a full weekend of familystuff, so there will be no time for playing. Which means I could shift a few hours forward.

I have played a little bit of the trial and it is Mass Effect! Haven't gotten far, got goosebumps during the entire intro. Turned off because it is time to do so more adult-stuff. But IHHHHHH. Hope you will have as much fun as I have had when you start playing it later

Ugh, still waiting to be able to even dl the damn thing.....

I played for an hour or so before bed last night and loved what I did play. I can already tell this is one I'll be revisiting again and again, just from how dynamic the opening is.

Damn that whole adulting thing I hope you get to sneak in a few hours in between family obligations.

I feel like I'm dodging a lot of bullets today in terms of avoiding spoilers and I'm not looking forward the next few days as more and more information comes out. I have been avoiding the main forum but Twitter, Facebook and even freaking Pinterest (I just wanted to find a recipe :sob: ) is flooded with MEA information. I'm trying to keep occupied until Tuesday but it's hard avoiding so many websites.

I do have one question for those that have been playing early access; how is the music? The music to ME1 is probably my favorite game music, I have my alarms and cell notifications set to the galaxy map theme, the wards and the Normandy and haven't changed that set up in quite a long time. I just wanted to know if it has a similar tone to the trilogy or not.

Ugh, I hate that I'm hoping the weekend goes by quickly so I can finally play.

If you're on PC there should be an option to change the FOV (field of view), making this larger usually helps with motion sickness in games (though at the cost of some performance since more of the scene needs to be rendered).

(On ME:A that is, I don't think it's on original trilogy options)

I have had time to play a little bit more now, gotten to see a bit more of the story and I am so so happy that I have been hiding in here. The twist and turns are unforseen. Things just happen unexpected and then it is a bigger schock. I am considering just haing in here until I have finished the first PT, don't want anything in the end spoiled by the players who run through the game. I usually end up wandering about and doing a few things at the time, not terribly time-efficient but fun for me. Someone who is more in a hurry will finish the game way ahead of me.

This will probably be my approach to new BioWare-games, going into a nice bunker and staying there. Still miss hyping in the big general threads but just seeing everything live for the first time ingame while you are playing is amazing

AllyCatAttack I'm trying to get as much as possible of the adult stuff sorted out tonight so I might be able to sneak away to the computer during the weekend. Ha ha, but I don't think it will work, will be too late in the evening and I am just not a morningperson. And getting up early to play isn't a good option because the kiddo wakes up as soon as there is movement in the house in the morning. Oh well, it's only a few days and then we will have the enitre game.

Seven Zettabytes There has been a some jumping around at specific places. For me it has been fine so I hope that it will work for you as well. At least I have been able to go forward at my own pace so that might help. Keeping fingers crossed!

I honestly haven't seen yet where the animations are that bad.

Avoided all the spoilers still! I signed up for Early Access but haven't d/l'd yet - may not play any till Monday via VPN. I signed up cause it was $2 less with EA.

I went to Kotaku and saw something about the animations, but it was more about others being upset by them, not Kotaku itself. Anyway, haven't played so withholding judgment. If it's equal to Mass Effect 3, I'd be happy.

Can't wait guys - almost here. Still in the middle of my last ME3 playthrough (just got Tali.)

P.S. Can anyone comment on the animations (w/ spoilers) - are the bad? something about the eyes?

Thanks for your input.  I checked your spoiler out.  I guess I'll set my expectations lower with that.  Ugh, I wished they were at least on par with ME3.  I hope it will be patched.
