Oh my god though, I seriously need more of that asari, gimme! lol

The straps on Ryder make me think of the attachment points on a harness, for strapping into an ejection seat.

In the new Mass Effect website, the clip of the Asari makes her seem younger ... not a child, but a young adult ... which might explain the less than serious attitude and playfulness. I'm getting used to the face paint, the voice seems fine.

The clumsy running in the clip ... I took that as her trying to change direction on the fly, when her current path was not working out. Maybe that's a Charlie Chaplain thing, but for me, when footing is a bit iffy, I probably looked like that trying to rapidly change course.

I'm looking forward to the graphics on PC. But most of all, I want it to be a great story and great game. Given my skills with a CC (which is to say none), I'm not really worried how Shepard Ryder will look, I just want this to be the first of a new trilogy that makes me fall in love with ME all over again.

AND boom goes the dynamite!! Whoopeee!!! So happy to finally see something!

Ryder looks kinda like my dad with those big ole ears and no neck. He is no Shepherd in the looks department, but perhaps he is more the intellectual type.

Floor expanding as you walk...makes me wanna play the Legion mission all over again (that was wicked).

Funny to have O2 on back, but no breather mask...who need oxygen in space anyway? Our crew gets by on pure attitude. (yeehaw!)

OK...done spewing reactions. Now to watch it 20 more times...

First impression is that it was pretty. I liked it. But it didn't actually feel like Mass Effect to me. We'll have to see when they release more stuff.

A few thoughts....

1) The asari still has eyebrows!!! Dang it! I will forever hate that change.


2) Ryder's hair didn't look all that great. Hopefully it is much improved. I know it's a pre-alpha build, but hair has never been a strong suit for Bioware.

3) If the asari has an outfit like that, I want Ryder to also be able to have the option as well.

4) Ryder's butt does not bother me at all. I'd rather the armor moved with my tush.

5) Scanning seems like it will be more integrated, which I like.

6) Being able to jump around looks really fun. I hope they can integrate that into combat smoothly.

Both will hopefully make the environment feel much more interactive and thus alive/real. Any additional layer of player input within any game's world is always a plus, no matter how simple.

I enjoyed the new trailer, but I noticed that in the cutscene the two human companions switch places a couple of times between cuts. Now that's all I can think about. That and butt straps.

Hope we see FemRyder again in the next trailer.

I'm not sure if I'm impressed, but I guess it looks ok. Least it's 4k, but other than that it's optimised for a weak console.

As long as the story is good.

TBH, the Remnant seems far more active and "Alive" than I thought, I thoguht they would be more like archeological leftovers of a dead civilisation.. The Remnant might not be more dead than the Geth were... While their tech and gathered intel might be "useful", I'm not sure if it's such a good idea to possibly pick a fight with a reaper tech level species or something that's even beyond that. Unless they have already proven hostile and threat.

Maybe the Khet is pushing them to desperate measures to find an edge.

I guess we will learn if it's good or not by release.

Definitely liking how alien in physiology they are. I expected another humanoid species. Also glad they're not semi/presumably-extinct race and essentially Protheans redux scenario.

Yup. We can also see the weapon on his back more up close. But still impossible to tell what it is. Although I think it's clear that it's a new gun.
