<<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> Mass Effect Andromeda producer Fabrice Condominas revealed that Mass Effect Andromeda will run at 30 FPS on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, Frostbite Labs’ Johan Andresson revealed on Twitter that Mass Effect Andromeda will have a custom resolution on PS4 Pro that’s neither upscaled nor native. That's a bummer for PS4 Pro. I certainly won't buy a new console for some additional graphical effects. The fps is the real game changer for me in considering a new console. I love 60fps can't understand how Kojima managed to put a 1080p 60fps game with MGS5 and EA seems unable to do so. Lord Kojimer knows his shit.

want to play @ 60 fps? buy a pc with a good video card.
As for the video, the only thing i didn't like so much was movement with the jack pack. It felt a little clunky. When he falls down, looks like he is falling of a bigger height. idk...

Actually, I wouldn't be *nearly* as critical if she were human. The point is this is supposed to be a non-human, but she dresses to thrill for human perception. What the heck is non-human about her but cosmetics? This nonsense is enough to put me off an otherwise good game. Liara was also on clothes when you first met her. And as i (and others) said before we simply don't know enough about the place where they are to draw conclusions. So relax for now It's not like they showed her half naked runing in a depressurized ship (yes ME2 i am looking at you). It's my dislike for the asari being a species of supposedly alien blue space babes speaking. I'm hair-triggered for anything that expresses the type even in a minor way. I can already see she'll be romanceable. Pfft.

Looks realistic to me. Most jetpacks in games look "flighty" to me. This one looks realistically "heavy". I wonder if they'll have varying gravity on different planets/stations that mess with your jetpacking.... A bigger concern for me is the animation. I think their skeleton needs a little bit of work to make it work better with the mocap.

I'm not dismissing people's concern over garb and the logical (or illogical) implications in space-faring games, but I really believe it gets far too much attention. I'd vastly prefer realistic writing of dialogue, characters, and story over a cosmetic issue.
I imagine in Andromeda you'll be able to dress you squadmates however you want anyway.

Sorry if this has already been posted, its a video from playstation access where hollie talks to Mac. He confirms that male and female ryder are brother and sister. He also says the N7 guy is their dad. Sounds pretty cool. I WAS RIGHT!!! I SAID SOMETHING LIKE THIS COULD BE IN THE OTHER FORUM!!! Weeeeeeee!!!! PD: sorry for my enthusiasm, but that warm feeling inside when you have a theory and it happens to be true

I just think it's a nonsensical critique to be honest. Actually, I wouldn't be *nearly* as critical if she were human. The point is this is supposed to be a non-human, but she dresses to thrill for human perception. What the heck is non-human about her but cosmetics? This nonsense is enough to put me off an otherwise good game. The characteristics of Asari have already been established over the previous three games. Dressing provocatively is more of an Asari trait than a human one based on what we've seen of them to date! As for their look - apart from their lack of hair and their skin colour they have always looked the most human of the other races so what you seem to be saying is that you are going to be put off from the game because the Asari looks and dresses the way Asari have always looked and dressed. Which seems like an even more strange critique than I thought you were making!

Watched the trailer: +Nice mood and interesting lcation. Visually impressive overall. -Sexy asari. Do people *still* ignore where to not leave your body uncovered if you want protection (*pukes*) All this nonsense about exposed flesh. I really don't get it. I suppose it would make more sense for Indiana Jones or Lara Croft to be exploring in Plate Mail or Space Suits just in case they get exposed to something really dangerous? There are people who value maneuverability or comfort over head to toe constriction especially if they're not trained soldiers. It may be safer to walk the streets of America in full body armour and helmet just in case you get caught up in a drive-by shooting or get run over by a car but it wouldn't be particularly practical even if you had access to the equipment. I just think it's a nonsensical critique to be honest. If Indy or Lara were exploring a medieval battlefield or the depths of space, yeah, it would make more sense. If you were going into a situation where you were likely to be shot at, it would be very practical to wear body armor.

If you were going into a situation where you were likely to be shot at, it would be very practical to wear body armor. Lara is often going into situations where she is likely to be shot at. I seem to recall Indy having encounters that were somewhat hazardous to his health too. It's also debatable whether you would be expecting to be shot at while exploring a long abandoned and, seemingly deserted, site. Not to mention the fact that, since these people are not N7 soldiers their access to body armour is likely to be somewhat restricted. Given the state of futuristic weaponry it is also probably largely irrelevant whether she has a bare midriff or whether it is covered by fabric, leather or kevlar. Chances are all would be equally ineffective!

That looked like a secure location for the characters, probably the Asari went there already. Certainly they were not expecting any threat as they were suprised when the vault turned hostile. And seriously you people make a fuss out of something so little. In truth I start to understand why they closed their forum albeit I still disagree with that decision.

Ha, what are the choices here? - Bit of belly = slutty unrealistic clothing
- No belly = covered-up pandering to 'SJW's
I think I'll reserve judgment and let BioWare make their game and fit the clothing choices to the character .
Actually, I like the Asari already...

Dammit, I missed everything! Why does everything always happens when I sleep Anyway - I loved the video! Probably because finally something! I am already liking Ryder more than Shepard Hmm, this seemed like asari's recruitment mission to me, maybe? That is why she is probably dressed non-military?...

That is exactly how I always imagine if they are going to do a Mass Effect movie they need to put both the MaleShep and Femshep in the same movie by making them related somehow.

It regenerates so fast whenever I'm not wearing armor, that I don't need a breathing helmet, nor any kind of armor. In fact, it will get in my way, because I'm going in and doing recon."

YEah 'cause there's absolutely no chance it will be trapped, or have automated defenses, or be occupied by someone else There are also three other fully armored characters present. They couldn't spare some extra body armor? Sure body armor won't protect you from a direct hit with a mass accelerated weapon. But it could protect you from ricochets, debris, animal bites, etc. It also has need little gizmos like medigel dispensers. emitters for kinetic barriers, and such,

Like some are saying, it does sound like Nolan North. Which is not too impossible since an actor/ess have several projects at once. BUT mainly, Uncharted in over so Nolan will be needing another big project. I also wouldn't be apposed to Greg Ellis, as I liked older and mature Inquisition, Cullen.

It's not like they decided to stick it to console users just because.

That is literally the kind of thing they're hoping to avoid with the stricter marketing approach. The Crestwood gameplay resulted in many players complaining that "advertised" content was cut from the final game, despite the fact that preview was not meant for the public. And despite the fact that the Crestwood gameplay was still pretty indicitive of the final product. If you remove the assumption that it was a 'sidequest'. The only thing that really changed from the demo to the actual game was Crestwood itself. Exactly. Be that as it may, it was still a good gameplay demo that showed off Inquisition's strengths in its dialogue and combat. The trailer for Andromeda felt hollow by comparison.

Hype somewhat restored.
