This Friday I have to wake up at 7:30 at the latest for a seminar that will last five and a half hours. It's required for graduation so I have no choice. All which will be stuff, such as resume building, interview tips, stuff I already learned from a workshop I took a few months ago. I've been told by someone who had taken it previously that all of it are stuff that's taught in a class we're required to take.

Well, to year started with me having to deal with a non-reported on as a final grade for one of my classes. This is the second time this teacher has done this to me and I ended up losing my scholarship for it.
Also my classes are shit. One class I have to find a way to interview two business executives and read an additional book, with two scholar articles for a long ass report/ group powerpoint presentation combo. It's going to suck. Also one of my teachers has a strict, you need to be on class on time policy, that even if you're one minute late then you're fucked. He locks the door and you can't get into class.
Also, my boyfriend broke up with me through Skype while I was in the middle of class. Apparently now that he was out of the infatuation stage he felt no passion for me. Also he now really just wants a casual physical relationship that he knows I wouldn't want.
So yeah this year is turning out to be shit.

So yeah this year is turning out to be shit. Nah, this would be like judging a TV series by the first two episodes of the first season. They almost always suck and you want to turn that shit off but you give it a chance and then BOOM - suddenly unexpected awesome stuff and plot twists happen and you're hooked. Take a look at the calendar, heck, the first episode is still running. Surely there will be ups and downs but in the end it will be a positive experience, even bad series have their redeemable episodes that make up for all the drag and crap that happened before. Years are TV seasons.

Indeed, but not only that, but her ex did her a favor by showing her that he's not the one to provide her with what she's after, and now this opens up new opportunities down the line after she picks herself up by her bootstraps and to pursue something that does suit her fancy, and who knows, by the end of the year she may just end up saying what a good year it turned out to be.

My job use to allow me and my co-workers to bring in their own laptop so that they can have something to do when they're not on a call. We're techs so we don't have much to do until we're called out for a problem that other people can't fix. But today my managers implemented a policy where that is no longer allowed, my co-workers told me that this policy was probably caused by one co-worker who, when called to do a task, delays doing it because he's in the middle of playing civilizations. :/

I've been very ill for two months now and the hot summer weather makes things just worse. Also no signs of healing up. :DD:
This year has been an absolute disaster for me, right from the start.

As for me, I usually don't complain about Austrian Postal Services, but today I have to.
Me: Okay, so I'll have my package delivered to a 24h-pickup-station so I'm not limited by the post office's stupid short opening hours as I'm mostly working until 6 pm.
Post: Thank you for using one of our brand-new super-easy 24h pickup-stations! Nah never mind, for your convenience, we re-directed your package to the nearest post office. You can pick it up ANYTIME - oh wait - no actually you can't cause it closes at 5 pm, lol, bye!

Thanks. Just spent 10 incredibly terrible days at the hospital and I have been diagnosed with a severe not well understood chronic illness that would probably kill me in a most agonizing painful way if left untreated. Upside is, there is a good modern treatment for it but I will probably need it for the rest of my life. (No more wishing for Zombie apocalypse scenarios I guess) And I will need to alter my lifestyle too, I especially have to avoid negative stress - however that is possible in the crazy modern day grind. Still, being perfectly healthy for 29 years, then getting incredibly sick in a matter of a day and then learning that I'm actually completely fucked up is quite a life changer. I never thought I could be in such situation one day, guess it can hit anyone anytime just like that. The upside is, I can still totally keep lifting heavy weights for fun, this problem has no effect on my physical strength - if I can keep my dearest hobby its not all that bad.

I almost thought I'd die by intestine failure, considering I have some kind of intestine malfunction, plus internal hemorrhoids rather than so much spinal pain forcing me to commit harakiri years later... but the last several days were extreme. The blood was much more than b4 and I also tried..... Then we are in the same boat, kind of. I Have chronic lower colon inflammation, to the point there is only blood diarrhea 15-20 times / day and the last stage of digestion does not really work anymore. Been three months like that and since the treatment kicks in very slowly it will be another month before I can even think about starting having a life worth a damn again. Now all I care about is stopping dehydration and not bleeding to death. But as they say hardship is what builds character, people sailing in life's kind cozy breeze don't need to build any kind of personality.

dunno i know what i talk bout Yes. I can confirm. Ibuprofen does worsen colon bleeding -it can also cause small intestine and stomach bleeding as well as ulcers.

Chronic colon inflammation for three months now, which means diarrhea that looks like a woman's bloody period up to 20 times per day (and night), paired with gut wrenching cramps, dehydration and fainting. I'm basically shitting out my own colon. There is good very modern treatment ( systemic medications that directly dampen my bodies inflammation markers) but it will take another 3 weeks until it will even begin to work, so nearly one more month of that hell. There are no other effective ways to dampen the symptoms quickly so I simply have to........endure. Painkillers are usually very hard on the intestines so I cannot take them either. Nobody knows the exact causes but specialists suspect negative stress, 1st world country eating habits and bacterial balance problems to result in this illness. It usually goes away on its own in the late thirties and early 40s and its usually people exactly my age who get this crap.- And it happens out of nowhere, never had a gut problem in my life and now suddenly total health apocalypse. There are no early warning signs that you'll suffer from this shit some time in your life, it simply just happens like a curse.

I canβt believe you have to suffer like this.

Benefit for me is that it -in powder form tastes like sugar. Easy way to kick sugar out of my diet. Either way my condolences.

I canβt believe you have to suffer like this. Thats what I thought too, we are working on Nanobots, harvest antimatter and prepare flights to the icy moon Europa, but they cant help with my pain and insane diarrhea. The systemic treatment will work but it takes time until it starts working. Chronic colon inflammation for three months now, which means diarrhea that looks like a woman's bloody period up to 20 times per day (and night), paired with gut wrenching cramps, dehydration and fainting. There are no early warning signs that you'll suffer from this shit some time in your life, it simply just happens like a curse. Have you tried Inositol? Either way my condolences and hope it does not get cancerous. Yes thats what they gave me, right into my bloodstream, and it took away like 10% of the pain, so it was nearly worthless. And it makes me dizzy. I had the option to get on morphine but since I have to run to the toilet all the time I cannot be rolling around in the bed half-delirious. And Morphine for weeks would wreak havoc on my body. So I have to rely on the hot water bottle. Getting cancer is only a problem when it goes unchecked for a long time, but I am getting treatment and it will work in a couple of weeks. 10 years ago that treatment did not exist and people who suffered from this illness would get - believe it or not- their end colon surgically removed, which is very problematic in its own ways.

Try Zoloft it helps /w mood and digestion. But than you have to watch your diet. Because you cannot throw up anymore. Morphine is fine, but try to get american morphine, german and austrian stuff went in the wrong direction, when you get a little high at least your pain goes away.
But what am I talking.
1st get your pain checked. 2nd get less stress. 3rd put small goals like: 'Next week I want to party' No big scale plans.
And since I hardly know you I let your friends give you the love and support you deserve.

Damn, it sounds very bad... I have blood ejection problem like thrice a week usually (started 2015) and often it's not very watery, more like clot. It only got bad last week ... and I have a theory. Too much activity + uncomfortable chairs/bed => more bleeding. I was on a trip, not very comfortable, had some hill-hiking and it got worse since (but it is back to usual form now). Another theory about it can be related to skeletal pressure on body, kinda unlikely.
If the first theory is correct you should lower your gym activity. Like moderate amount of push-ups/pull-ups every 2 days, plus some cycling and jogging (and enough sleep and good diet) will keep us healthy. But there are different reasons (and therefore solutions) for similar phenomena indeed.
