I tried swapping my Gorilla Arms tier 1 for a tier 2 version (can't upgrade them via mat like the rest) and when I uninstall the currently equipped Corilla Arms I can't even re-equip them or the new ones because I lose 5 max cyberware capacity.
This is kinda annoying.

I've had a bout 6 crashes so far and an aggravating bug that uninstalls my healing stims every time I die. As usual, the patch needs to be patched...

I've been so amazed and happy with Cyberpunk that I'm desperately looking around for similar games. Is there any game out there that gives a similar feeling? Maybe RDR2 or GTA5 (haven't played either) or is there nothing really like it out released?

Disclaimer: I hate first person perspective, so that costs CP a few points in my book, but for me it is RDR2, a reasonable gap, then Cyberpunk. Then daylight, followed by GTA V. I thought GTA was "fine", but glad I only paid $30NZD for it. There is a reason that dev who tweeted about BG3 not being the standard used the term Rockstar nonsense level of scope. There is a lot of 'life' in both games.

The open world doesn’t really open up - properly - until you’ve done a handful of chapter 2 missions.

If you mean Cyberpunk FPS then two games come to mind: Ghostrunner if you want to play Sandevistan+Blades build. Will get a sequel soon. Syndicate (2012) if you want to play Netrunner+Guns build. This one is hard to get though, might need to look on abandonware sites or look for physical copies since EA delisted it for some reason.

Maybe RDR2 or GTA5 (haven't played either) or is there nothing really like it out released? Definitely the Deus Ex games. IMO, they have the better Cyberpunk atmosphere.
Otherwise, it depends a little what you mean. Since you mentioned RDR and GTA, I assume the cyberpunk setting itself isn't that important to you. In that case, you could also try the Dishonored games. Maybe also the Bioshock series (they are shooters but they also have some immersive sim elements to them). Also, if you are not afraid to go with older games, how about Vampire Bloodlines?
But definitely start with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I LOVE that game. And IMO, it's the better Cyberpunk setting. It's a bit less crazy and more grounded than 2077 IMO.

Without spoilers what is everyone's opinion on Phantom Liberty? Is it any good or worth the price? I am going mainly by what people say here and the verified owner reviews @ GOG.com, since that's where I bought Cyberpunk 2077. So yeah did it improve gameplay? Is the story any good? I never finished Cyberpunk 2077 so I don't know, but does the expansion take place after the main story, before, or during? How does it run for you? I know the system requirements have been increased, I do meet them but my card while capable of some of the fancy graphic options is not strong enough to enable all of the options. I just don't want the expansion to burn a hole through my PC. Are there any game breaking bugs or glitches? To answer when you should play it, most people say it fits best during Act 3 so after you pursue the three leads of Act 2. So mid to late game. It fits better there since it kinda of feels like this is V’s last shot. Also do plenty of side quests since some NPCs from those can appear and be involved in certain parts. It's worth noting that if you do the Expansion sooner, as I did this first time, the rest of the game is littered with Phantom Liberty references afterwards. Just as an example, when first meeting a certain celebrity in "Violence" V mentions seeing them before in Black Sapphire.

Also I gotta say, I know Idris said he hopes to be the new Bond. I gotta say, if this whole experience for him was one long Audition for that, man done convinced me. He's got ruthless special agent down to a T. Whole expansion was basically the best Bond movie we never had.

I know you can also talk to Hellman about certain events when you nab him after completing the expansion. It just seems there are far more references to the main game in the expansion than the expansion in the main game. But you can also mix and match, like do the first urgent bit as soon as it comes up then stagger the rest throughout the game.

therevanchist25 and Hanako Ikezawa Thanks for the tips. I haven't bought the dlc yet nor have I updated the base game to version 2.01 (don't know if I need Phantom Liberty for the update). Once I finish the base game I will buy the dlc and restart from the beginning.

The game is still chock-full of bugs. The most annoying to me are incorrect stat descriptions of weapons and cyberware, like the game suggesting that if I upgrade my cyberware it will get worse stats. On the other hand I unlocked several achievements that I was nowhere near to get.

As I suspected everyone was right before attempting the 'Noctourne' quest I got a warning of not being able to go back and finish side gigs. I still have a 5 more cyberpsychos to defeat, and I still have to do the second race with Claire, but I am thinking about seeing the game to it's conclusion.

Hey guys, I've started playing this game at last or trying to anyway... I have horrible screen tearing with DLSS enabled. Even though it runs at 130 something with path tracing on my 4090, it stutters as if it's 30fps. It's giving me a headache. The common fix supposedly is enabling vsync in the Nvidia control panel but when I do that I get HORRIBLE unplayable lag. So that's much much worse. Any ideas why this doesn't work for me? Oddly after switching back and forth between DLSS enabled and not I get the screen tearing even with DLSS off and vsync enabled in the game settings. I have no idea what's going on. One other thing, my monitor is an 165hz Alienware OLED and I noticed that no matter what game I play when I set vsync the highest number I get to choose is 60. That seems odd? I'm still trying to figure out why I have nothing but trouble with my new computer setup. Sigh. Btw did I expect too much from this game overall because the texture quality is BAD. Starfield has better textures imo. I was expecting this to be the visually most beautiful game on the market and I find everything to be kinda blurry and low quality. I have everything maxed out ultra. Feels like I'm looking at a ten year old game not 3 years old. Colors are great on my OLED with RT but it looks very dated? EDIT: I fixed it. Windows had the monitor resolution set to 59 frames. (Embarrassing that it took me months to realize this!) Now the screen tearing is gone because the fps I get is below the 165 of my monitor. All is well now! OK, panning the camera is still not nearly as smooth as in Starfield but I guess it's normal in this game. I can finally start to play!

OK, panning the camera is still not nearly as smooth as in Starfield but I guess it's normal in this game. I can finally start to play! First, you should enable G-Sync if you haven't. G-Sync is the best way to enjoy these single player games. Try it and it should make the camera movement a bit smoother. Second, do the textures only look blurry with DLSS enabled? If so, you can try setting DLSS to "Quality" mode instead. If the textures still look too blurry on Quality mode, try turning off DLSS completely. Third, you can try enabling Frame Generation (aka DLSS 3.0) if the framerate drops bother you. Frame Generation is basically motion interpolation for your games. While it can smooth out the visuals, it also increases input lag. So it is not recommended if your base framerate is too low. I only use it if my game can already hit 90-100 FPS, like Hogwarts Legacy. Just keep in mind that Frame Generation automatically disables G-Sync in Cyberpunk 2077. So you need to force enable Vsync in the Nvidia Control Panel if you use want to use G-Sync with Frame Generation. Otherwise, it doesn't work at all and you still get screen tearing. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't have the sharpest or the most detailed textures compared to newer games like Starfield, but the environment lighting and shadows more than make up for it. Especially if you have Ray Tracing settings enabled. After the 2.0 patch, Cyberpunk 2077 now looks the best it has ever looked and it is much more optimized than Starfield. As a whole, Cyberpunk 2077 looks much better than Starfield in my opinion. I put in more than 200 hours into Starfield, uninstalled it, and went straight back to Cyberpunk for the Phantom Liberty DLC. I missed Cyberpunk 2077 when I played Starfield. I don't miss Starfield (or my Class C space ship that I spent over $500k to build) at all when I play Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty. By the way, Path Tracing (Ray Tracing: Overdrive) is very taxing even on RTX 4090. Try using the "Psycho" Ray Tracing settings instead and see which mode you prefer. Personally, I think Overdrive looks more realistic but it doesn't look better or more striking than normal Ray Tracing settings.

What I really like are the characters such as Jackie, Johnny, Panam, Judy, and more. They are all well done. I have not finished my first playthrough yet due to my father's health problems, but once he gets better I intend to finish the Phantom Liberty dlc.
