I am very fine with enemies sometimes dodging my powers when they look me in the eye while I am casting them.
But that they even dodge them when I sneak up on them from behind and them being COMPLETELY unaware is not only annoying - it also kills immersion (even more).

You don't honestly believe that Remnant need eyes and only have 140° vision, right? Same goes for Kett. They have been heavily genetically modifed and their eyes are there for easthetic reasons and not for visual perception. And outlaws... Well, Outlaws.

It's even better when they successfully dodge INTO a shotgun blast regardless of the direction they are facing.

It's even worse with weapon fire. They dodge, they duck, they circle-strafe you, run past you, do 180 in fraction of a second and melee you. They are harder to kill outside of cover than inside of it because of such behaviour.

I personally freaking hate them especially when they are the target for objective mission and I am using weapon base kit.

Nothing better than a Pariah just circling around you at full speed as a sniper only to be killled by yourself by the time you finally hit a shot.

You have to be super twitchy doing 360s checking your back every few seconds because the moment you don't do it, something spawns behind you. It happened to me yesterday in fucking Icebreaker. I was taking 1-2 shots and an Adhi was biting my ass already. I get the F out of there, go into another position and take another 1-2 shots and a lolserker is already spamming flack kannon on my back. It reminds me of Roach, Witcher's 3 horse. You call on her (it's a she I think) and she spawns somewhere behind you so you wont see her actually spawning.

They inherited the great telepathic abilities ME3 AI had. Their situational awareness is no joke. I generally shoot before I cast a projectile power, so when I do see enemy dodges its when I've cast on a target-able enemy without line of sight. I'm not sure I can complain much since I was able to target the guy in the first place without LOS, but it just looks so ridiculous when it happens. Way-back-when, the devs acknowledged the issues with ME3 dodge mechanics. Either the FROSTBITE engine is equally bad at making 'facing' a condition for enemy behavior, or this is another instance of lost institutional wisdom. Bioware definitely made some improvements to player experience, but is seems like they spent a lot more time and energy 'fixing' the game mechanics that players took advantage of in ME3: RHA, reload cancelling, spawns, multiplicative damage sources, cobra mechanics, charged weapons, etc.

They just didn't program the AI correctly to have a condition as of when they can dodge, or they didn't care to program said condition in the fist place. It could also be related to latency/lag, but since the issue happens on-host also, I don't think that's the case.

Apparently, devs need videos of these things filed in bug reports so they can know what needs fixing? Or, you know, you could believe random trolls claiming that they intended for things to work this way....

There was a similar thing in DAI single player and multiplayer with venatori and red templar knights who had some i-frames by using their block ability. This made them immune to any damage and the animation had no cooldown whatsoever. Attempts to patch it by Luke were initially futile because this behavior was inherited from single player. Eventually, some type of cool down was introduced after a few months and it became a bit easier. Same thing was and still is in ME3, so to hit reliably with throw, warp, etc, you have to shoot first and make the enemies dodge and then, during cooldown, hit them with powers. Same thing works more or less in MEA IMO. It might be possible to make their space magic dodge cool down longer, not sure, but looks like more or less working as intended as it has been in all recent Bioware games.

I've entirely given up on my me3 tactics. I remember forcing the enemies to dodge before casting projectiles in me3 but even that is too unreliable in mea. It might be due to lag sometimes but most of the time the movement patterns/dodges/moonwalks just make no fucking sense.
Last weekend I had anarchist dodge my incinerate while being electrified by techburst. I just set my controller down and told my friends to finish the wave.

I do not believe that a repeated easy to occur bug means "intended".
Instead, I believe that that's an easy mistake to make.
