...have never been able to finish a Dwarven playthrough because there's no Dwarf to pair them up with. I like to match my LI's races to the race that I am playing that particular playthrough. So there can potentially be babies. I do the opposite, haha! Interspecies relationships for everyone. Haha it's good to have options! But I like to piece them together like a puzzle. Same reason Kaidan will forever be my one and only LI in ME. I might've made an exeption for Thane, but yeah...We all know how that turned out. And let's not even mention Jacob, he doesn't count.I only hope that I get at least one LI in MEA that I like.

We have something similar in the ME3 MP section, where folk post their in-game confessions. Seems as good a fit as any for here too. Also, I am aware that Tumblr has this tag going with awhile lol. Anyway, feel free to post your in-game confessions of your DA experience here. I'll go first; I never felt guilty/bummed about leaving Hawke in the Fade. In fact, I never felt any real attachment to my Hawkes. If I'm playing as an elf in DAI one mission I refuse to do is The Spoils of Desecration, just wrong. A part of me is still bummed that Cassandra isn't a bi choice. I killed Anders in all my playthroughs well, except one. I hate the combat in DAO and the Warden is my favourite protagonist. I really like Vivienne and Morrigan, just love their withering putdowns. Varric is my least used companion in DAI, I don't dislike him, I just prefer Sera and Cole combat wise. I use the Black Emporium an unhealthy number of times in all my playthroughs.

I've played the same character 5 times in DAO. I always found something to nitpick about his appearance and started over. Last time I did it, I was close to finishing the main story.
Edit: It is the guy in my profile picture. And I kinda wish his eyebrows were slightly lower...

I never managed to complete DAO without mods (skip fight and skip fade mostly.)
I have lost count how many tries I had at doing it on the console and so no mods. I just keep getting killed very easily even though I'm on casual. I must be missing something vital that I haven't discovered. Have tried it as a mage, archer and shield/sword warrior and still can't manage to get through it.
In each of the three games I romanced the same character over and over. Zevran, Fenris and Dorian respectively. I try to romance someone different but I can never go through with it.
I was on my 3rd playthrough of Inquisition before I realised you could talk to your companions at Skyhold to get cutscenes and quests. I had only been talking to Dorian as I was romancing him.

I have weird obsession about having my protagonists from different classes in my world states pls tell me I'm not the only one I'm like you too. My Warden's a warrior Cousland, my Hawke's rougue, my Inquisitor's a mage. In truth, I have a small wish that in DA4, we have the chance to gather all 4 protagonists so far, and then I have a perfect balanced party. But that's highly unlikely.

I can't play a DA Warrior. I thought I could play a Warrior Hawke, but I'm not enjoying it much at all, so I switched over to playing Isabella and just letting the AI play my Hawke. I've enjoyed Rogue in all three games, and mage in two.
Also, I've played all three versions of mage in DAI, and I hate them all. I'll probably let the AI control my future DAI mages as well.

Rogue is my favourite class in DA:O, because I can't be bothered to drag Leliana everywhere to open the locks for me.
I never switch to any of the other characters during combat, I stick with my Warden/Hawke/Quizzie.
I finally got to have Leliana as Divine in my latest complete playthrough and... I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I honestly preferred Cassandra. O.o I still want Cassandra to stay as my companion though, so now I'm kind of torn. XD

As for my confession....i finished Inquisition without knowing Blackwall's true story. found out about it when he left me or w/e during Tresspasser.

Guess not supporting either can cast as a behind the scene vote for Leliana. either way Vivienne is indeed dangerous and if i indeed picked her up then i don't know what i was smoking at the time. maybe i did it thinking that others are gonna be eaten alive politically xD or maybe the game picked her up for me despite my efforts thanks to some wrong choices.

She can definitely follow you in missions in Trespasser even as Divine, and her gear is great. I meant that she seems to prefer not being the Divine if she can help it, and I wanted to respect that wish of hers. I *always* ended up with Cassandra until now, and I wasn't even trying. Lels was the toughest for me, so I suppose that, once it happened, the outcome felt rather underwhelming. It's just me, though. xD

I only finished the game once but the difficulty of getting certain divines varies from person to another of course and i was just generalizing based on percentage according to what i read about it in the past. if they keep Dragon Keep though one can just pick the outcome they wanted in the first place.

I played blindly without doing anything special, just saying what I felt and Leliana became a Divine, and I have liked that outcome so far. I just don't see Cassandra as a religious figurehead. She is a warrior-born & I did not want to stuff her into those robes and become a cleric.
Back to the previous pages' confessions about classes:
I have never once played an Archer PC. I've loved directing Zevran in DA:O, so I tried melee rogue in DA2, and it was fun. I also did not mind it in Inquisition, but abandoned it eventually.
Mages are consistently my favorite class.
The classes I regret going the most were the Ranger and the Shapeshifter
Nathaniel was an Archer with Ranger subclass for me, but the game was over before I can do much there but get him summon his wolf. But it wa still really, really cool.
Nathaniel is the character I regret being dropped by BioWARE the most (yes, I know he makes a cameo appearance in DA2). Wish he was there instead of Stroud in the Inquisition. Now, that would have made it hard choice for me.

Oh, forgot the last piece de resistance.
I am obsessed with neatly wrapping up the stories, so once I have finished Inquisition, I spent some time setting up DAK story for Origins to have my Warden to be a human Female Mage called Clarel, remaining in relationship with Alistair-as-a-Warden. That satisfied my need for neat definitive endings, with Alistair dying in the Fade, and Clarel dying when taking down that dragon and half of a Keep's wall.

- Dwarfs are the best race, without questions. They have the best Origins too. - I only ever recruited the dog twice. - In all my playthroughs i have never excecuted Loghain. The very worst that happened to him was giving up his life by slaying the Archdemon in my cowardly dalish playthrough. Alistairs fate is 70% wandering drunk (Hoping for a cameo in DA4), 28% excecuted and 2% hardened King. - The only male character playthrough i have ever completed was a Cousland who only married Anora so that he can technically be Loghains son. Talk about hero worship. - Hawke only survives in the few non-Loghain imports. - Banishing the Wardens gives me life. - After Sera dumped my Lavellan for sticking with her belives i immediatley rolled another playthrough where i romanced her and then chased her out of the Inquisition when she trusted me the most. Betrayal payback - catharsis achieved. - I actually think Solas is right. We shouldnt be trying to stop him, we should do our best to help him find a way to accomplish his plans without killing everyone. Mm... your cowardly Dalish playthrough? what do you mean?

My cowardly Dalish playthrough was one where i played Mahariel as the biggest coward possible. Put all her points in cunning and constitution and just let my companions handle the fighting. She payed the bandit toll in Lothering, didnt recruit Sten because Qunari are scary, didnt help Redcliffe and killed Connor because demons are scary, etc. In the end she recruited Loghain cause he was more experienced (and thus a better meat-shield) than Alistair and then let him die to the Archdemon. I never carried that save forward though, because continuing being a Warden in Awakening would have been incredibly out of character for her. Nevertheless, a really fun playthrough.

As far as I'm concerned a lot of Wardens are out of character when carried in DAA and DAI. All those bound to duty that couldn't care less to cure the calling were forced to abandon Thedas because BioWare made them all the selfish type of warden.

I always make and keep a save right after game starts. In case I ever want to replay that character. I haven't so far because rolling a new character always seems more fun, especially since I'm better at the CC now. But just in case. I also keep saves before each major romance scene

It just occurred to me. the Arishok and his soldiers just committed an act of war upon Kirkwall, murdering plenty of civilians on their way to Viscount Keep. I don't even know what they were planning by dragging that screaming woman in Hightown. Not only should the Arishok die, his followers should die. Nevermind his respect, he doesn't have mine at tht point!
