That's a shame. Though on the plus side: - I'd rather see a good looking game let down by a bugged stream,
- than a bugged game shown perfectly during a working stream.
I'm sure they will take another run at this.

What did you guys think about the General Tassyn cutscene (near the Javelin bay)? Did you think the animations and dialogue was good? I think it looked good, though I think the scene could have had the NPC's removed. I don't know if the freelancer was just talking about the people working the bay being missing, but during that line where she (freelancer) said, "Where did everyone go?" I just thought it was awkward that there were still NPC's in plain sight.

They mentioned during the start that they removed assets from this demo (things, people). I was referring to that one particular scene, not Fort Tarsis itself. There's a bit where the Freelancer says, "Where did everybody go," but there were still NPC's around. I'm saying I think it would have been more preferable if those NPC's were removed...unless the NPC's still being there was one of the assets they couldn't fix since its alpha.

I hate motion blur... I love motion blur especially done good like in this, but maybe it was a bit overdone though. I loved it in ME1 too Anthem is looking more and more intersting, too bad about the stream crapping out. Waiting to see the wilderness gameplay.

I feel that they still can't build a place with NPCs wandering around naturally. The graphic looks good enough. However, the facial animations are still awkward. I think Bioware is becoming more and more exposed in terms of inability to "keep up with the times". That demo with all the NPCs would have been revolutionary back in 2005....but this is 2018. With games like Assassins Creed, RDR2, Spiderman, Cyberpunk and many other games having vibrant populated areas, Bioware just looks behind the curve. This is why I actually feel that going the online route could be the best route because they seem to struggle with many modern videogame structures and systems.....primarily as it pertains to open world/open environment gameplay.

I expected a town like those in Rockstar and Ubisoft games. Dunno why anyone would expect that. As much as some people wish Tarsis to be the centerpiece of the game, with tons of story etc, it's probably just going to be a place to get your next mission and then head outside where 90% of the game will take place. At least it's an upgrade to the Destiny hubs...

The game releases February. Exactly what build were they playing? It was an alpha build. Like I said, I don't know how much they've been able to polish things but I don't believe they intended for the game to be NPC-focused to begin with; but that's just my opinion.
