I have not played a match in about a month. I'll have to go back in and see if anything has changed. I have not played a BioWare mp game in which I lost interest so quickly.
I've put countless hours into me3mp, meamp and daimp (which I am playing now). Anthem at least to start just does not seem to have the things in mp game that I like.
Flying around is very fun though.

Have you gotten your first masterwork weapon yet? I got mine the other night at level 25, which is where folks on here say they start popping. It is definitely something that changes the game. That single weapon makes my Storm feel like an unstoppable force. It's weird as I used to spend my time hovering in the air and using my elemental's, now I'm on the ground melting enemies with my LMG! Now I can't wait to get more of them.

I got one at lvl 16. It was so overpowered even on hard that I had to stop using it until I got into the 20s.

I've put countless hours into me3mp, meamp and daimp (which I am playing now). Anthem at least to start just does not seem to have the things in mp game that I like. Flying around is very fun though. For ME3mp was hooked for about first 700 hours (or more). MEAmp first 100-200 hrs. Anthem first 400 hours. However then bought MEAmp for PC before Anthem release to tide me over and check out the final content release for it and was surprised by how much more I was enjoying myself this time around. Never experienced the PAW, Siphon weapons, new stage & 4 new kits of which greatly enhanced my experience with game. Add that my first UR Siphon was the PAW very early on with my fave kit being Destroyer and good times were had (enough for another 796 hours pre-Anthem release). So got regret being critical of game early on, as extra support would have been ace and can make a game considerably better.

Maybe the Legendary rewards you get with the Legion of Dawn set? They drop very early and are certainly pretty powerful initially.

When I played I used to always go cave diving in free play to see if I could get to the bottom. Most of the time there were trash mobs, with elites throw in as you got farther in. Every once in a while there would be a Ursic, or the scorpion enemy in in the last room. One time an Ursic dropped a masterwork, and I was definitely lvl 16.

I found a picture around the time in question. I told one of my friends I had a MW weapon I was not using and he didn't believe me, so I took this. This is a some of levels after I got it because I didn't have the Devastator at the time I acquired it. You can see why it would have been so overpowered at the time.

Imma going contrarian and say that's a good thing (nah, I don't even like Anthem!). I don't mind getting a few levels higher powerful weapons in Borderlands 2 tbh (rarely happens with 1 level higher I think).

Yeah, I don't see any reason why you should not take advantage of an OP weapon as much as possible. It's not like it's a PVP game where you are being unfair to other players. Everything is supposed to scale to your item level anyway. You can play in Hard mode more easily and get better rewards for doing so.
When I created my second pilot I already had the means to craft my own masterwork weapons and gear, which I'd earned on the first pilot, and I certainly didn't hesitate to use them!

Yep ur probably right, I got a level 46 AR when I was around level 18 and it was ok but nothing like the LMG I got at 25. That things still a beast.

The game wasn't enjoyable. I got too easy at that point. The weapon you get with the LOTD edition is that gold one in the picture, and that was somewhat OP, but not game breaking. Getting this weapon at the level I did was game breaking. I would have probably ended up worse at the game because there were no tactics involved in winning fights. Anything without shields/barriers was pretty much one shot, and everything else was dead before it could get to me or do any real damage.
I didn't start using it again until after I finished the Main Story, because at that point I was just trying to finish missions as quickly as possible to get to level 30.

I get it. I don't like playing GM1 because I just faceroll everything. Even if it is time/reward betetr for limes, it's just not fun. GM2 or higher is the only enjoyable difficulty.

Fair enough. I guess when I was levelling I was more interested in the story than the challenge. Plus I was soloing all the missions so I needed as much help as I could get!

Seems like EA acknowledged Anthem's non stellar explosion with its lack of aggressive hype and enthusiasm ( imo). At E3, it was a missed golden opportunity to market the game and attempt to get new players.

You dont just go to international event with product that gets ridiculed for its unfunctionalities and unfinished state and expect to come good out of that. They had their E3 moment with Anthem already, humping up the hill for a second time with little to show and failed launch wouldn't generate sales, rather just more mockery.

I agree....i think they probably could have showed something or marketed the game a bit if Cataclysm was received better,....but it wasn't ground-breaking or anything that made you react in a way for you to feel that Anthem is finally going in the right direction....the reaction has been pretty lukewarm.....but presenting a storm with a blue filter and some trees swaying compared to what we seen in that E3 vid a year ago...was probably what players was expecting in terms of visuals... Add to the fact that the loot problem still rears its head with every map/stronghold and Anthem's issues will just continue to thrive instead of it being fixed or improved....it says something when one of your newest products doesn't make an appearance at an event such as this....

At E3, it was a missed golden opportunity to market the game and attempt to get new players. Indeed. They could have used this opportunity for a lot of things. Like for example: - openly admit the mistakes that were made and apologize (doesn't change the game but might change perception within the community, and by that I mean the whole genre-community) - talk in more detail about how they want to improve things and turn this mess around and actually talk about what they are currently working on - talk about the big issue of loot, crafting and stupid inscriptions and what the current status is of changing things and when people can expect to see some changes - announce that the game will become a free to play game which could have an impact on how many new people will get into the game - put Keanu Reeves on stage and have him say "I'm personally overseeing the future development of this gameand will go John Wick on Bioware if they don't clean up their mess by <date>"

Everything that has been done to this game, that players actually enjoyed, was a fluke.
This game has been a dumpster fire from one end to the other.

That is frankly why I don't play the game anymore period. EVERYTHING is too easy now. Everything has been nerfed to hell and back. I faceroll GM2 solo, even in a Purple Ranked Storm Jav. Never mind my main Colossus Jav which treats GM2 attacks like tiny bugs in his face. The combat and the challange was the main draw for me, since the game has basically nothing else to provide. Now it no longer even has that, because apparently I'm the only player on Earth who didn't struggle with everything and think all the enemies were cheap and OP.
