According to steam I've played 17 hours so far and only now do I feel as if I have a good feel for the game. So will be starting over as I now know how I want to develop my De Sardet. Still going to play on easy though! I'm totally in love with the four barreled pistols in the game. They are devastating on easy. You can drop the first boss with nothing but the pistol. I've also managed to finally beat Kurt in the combat tutorial. Once you realise how its painfully easy. Once you've done the basic attack and parry three times you should have enough Fury to put Kurt on his arse. Three Fury powered attacks later and Kurt was kissing pavement

Who you bring with you can really affect quest results, especially when you fail all the Charisma checks and can't take the Intuition because they are at 3 and you only have 2.
Thanks for the save friends.

The romance division may be because of who is bisexual, to be fair. In other news, at <18 hours and level 13 I stop for the night. De Sardet, Petrus, and Siora retrieved The Queen's body. Then considering all of the events, it really was time to inform Constantine of everything.
Speaking of Constantine, from the start I got this Petulant evil vibe... That has given way to, "Oh. He's just a Carver. Aw."
As I'd been ignoring Vasco wanting to go get a mission from the admiral, I figured I'd gated myself long enough to do that for him. Thing is, I don't understand why he had to do a loyalty Mission at all. He was relieved of duty because he was curious, in his own private mind, about where he'd come from? How did the Admiral know? Was he needing to make up for something I missed?
Anyway, since Aphra is straight, I don't LURVE Kurt, and haven't seen much about Siora to warrant falling for her, I flirted with Vasco some more. If anything, the fact they've at least known each other for months already makes a romance make more sense. Told him De Sardet would miss him if he sailed off. I did find his reply Really sweet. That he wouldn't sail off until he knew how our story went. It was like a flirt that wasn't a HUR HUR flirt
Till next time

I really love the forest area at dusk in this game. Also, the superb basalt rocks. It did some more side questing last night. The game doesn't have that many quests but it feels like it has a lots of them because they are all so fleshed out. I'm barely touching the main quests. So, some Inquisitors saw the Light closer than they expected and I probably caused the Thélème to fall into a civil war. The Natives are probably close to build monuments in my name, a 3rd clan is calling me Carants. Now I need to find Nauts and Bridge Alliance quests, especially Nauts, they are still at suspicious. I also learned something super interesting, the full term the native use for the invaders actually means parasites (it's something like muregnaise, spelling all wrong, we need a Native dictionary).

Also it was in Petrus quest that my female De Sartet was refered as a man, a bug that a lot of people are reporting as happening a lot in the game but that i`ve been lucky, as so far it only happened to me once and in this quest (story spoiler warning): her native aunt says that she was really glad that her sister`s son returned to the island I've lost count the times my female De Sartet was referred as a man. It's surprisingly common.

! Petrus is willing to dig up dirt on his own faction! Hilarious.
Also the "thieving" scholar had the same model as the Charlatan from Old Serene and I was freaking out for a second that we were fighting without dialogue

I was doing a quest today that led to me tracking down a laboratory where people were being used to study the malichor. Of course, I freed the prisoners and decided to arrest the culprit rather than outright kill him (and I really wanted to kill him). I thought to myself, "Well, that's the end of that quest." Not so. I was then able to aid the prosecution gather evidence against the defendant and even witness his execution. I was immediately reminded of that quest in Andromeda were you have to decide the fate of a Turian who tried (but failed) to kill his CO. I always thought a trial should've been in order. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised that Greedfall managed to exceed my expectations in this case. In fact, this quest leads to a rather astonishing revelation that explains certain events in the game, and again I thought, "I did not expect them to bother to explain this; other games wouldn't have." On the other hand, I was disappointed to find that I couldn't share this revelation with the relevant parties, especially considering it could trigger a war between the Congregation and the Bridge Alliance. Can't win them all I guess.

I think he could be jailed or exiled. if you exile him you can talk to him at the bar in Kadara where Reyes is and he off handedly thanks Ryder but also is a bit sarcastic about it. Interestly the NPC's in the area around the jail will comment if you exile him about freeing murderers.

If you release him, he feels guilty so tells his wife the truth causing her to be upset and leave him so he decides to go into cryo hoping things will be better in the future.

I'm f***** stuck. Where is the key to the back room in Vices of the Mother Cardinal? I searched everywhere, no key and I don't have LP. Edit. Found it after numerous trawling. It's in the room to the right of the mother cardinal.

You'll need lockpicking for that or the key which is nearby but I had a hell of a time getting it and getting back to the cell with the way the guards position and move themselves.

The "Ancient Woods" are so good looking. I really don't understand people saying this game graphics are bad. I suspect they just check the graphic features and when they don't see the latest toy it's mean it's ugly even if visually it's not.
I didn't play much last night, though, but running around in those woods was so relaxing...well except for a few pack of rolling monsters (I hate those).

He didn’t recognize me, and when I identified myself, he made a comment about the congregation being sneaky.

Have a good Balance score and 90% of the time you can just stand in front of those roller coasters and Parry them like a champ. Even when they hit you it's just a couple of steps back which looks more like a "well done, buddy...my turn"

Higher Endurance gives better Balance and access to gear with higher Balance and you can craft a mod for any armor slot (some gear doesn't have slots though). There are mods that specifically increase Balance. There are skills with Heavy weapons that give big Balance bonuses.
