It is good to read more positive feedback about this game. I wait to give SqueeNix my money, until they get as little of it as possible. Too many bad releases from them over the years. This one seems like one of their gems, so I look forward to a sale. Have missed a few good ones, but they will get better I was suspicious of it as well. I let my kids play Marvels Avengers and...well...yeah. It looks pretty, and it seems fun to fly around as Iron Man, but other than that, it seems like a bit of a dog. This is very good. Short (unless the last few chapters are much longer than the previous ones), but good.

Have missed a few good ones, but they will get better They have had some good ones like the Tomb Raider reboots as I think they did an awesome job with both Rise and Shadow and the 2013 game despite being full of QTE's was pretty decent as well. Also as DragonKingReborn has noted Forspoken is looking like it could be a bit of a gem as well. I don' tthink it'll win GOTY in the mags as I think we've already seen the games that'll be fighting over that in Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West. But I think Forspoken has a good chance of being my presonal GOTY for 2022 just like this game and Kena kind of fought over it for last year. Though I think Halo at the end of the year beat them to it in the end. But then last years games were a little weak this years games look much stronger assuming all the games rumoured t obe coming out this year actually do so. I'm personally already looking forward to October with both Forspoken and Gotham Knights coming out and with rumours we may be getting Hogwarts Legacy around then too it's going to be a busy time for RPG games

I liked TR and loved RotTR, but Shadow fell a bit flat, for me. They finally acknowledge Jonah was from New Zealand , but it just didn't go out on the high I'd been hoping for.

I am still mad at Square Enix for not letting Eidos Montreal make another Deus Ex game and finish Adam Jensen's story. Especially the way Mankind Divided ended (or rather did not end). I am still holding out hope that it will happen and I will keep hoping as long as Elias Toufexis is alive.

I personally liked Shadow th emos tbut that's mainly because I think I apperciated the more tactical approach it took t wha tcombat there was and the fact it was amlittl emore slower paced as well compared wit hthe others. Still haven't got round to playing Shadow's DLC's but if I d oget roun dt oand decide t ogo throug hthe TR' sagain late rin th eyear then I'll play them then. I do have them as I bought the Croft edition which had them all just haven't got round to playing them. It's mainly because they weren't al out when I played Shadow the first time s odecided to skip them. As I thought I'll come back eventually anyway to play it again.

A publisher that releases bad games is allowed to also release good ones. Otherwise AAA would be a complete wasteland.
BioWare would be.... less appreciated lol.

Finished. Just shy of 20 hours, including credits that seemed to take half of that In true Marvel fashion, there was a mid-credits and a post-credits scene. Also NG+, which I may well try when going for a higher difficulty, because…damn…some of those fights were hard. I have played games that have ‘moved’ me more, but that was after 100+ hours in the protagonist’s shoes. Heart, humour and action. The combat won’t be for everyone. As I mentioned before, it is wildly chaotic, but I enjoyed every single moment, even when I was screaming internally about how much I was sucking at it.
