Also, despite not liking auto-dialgoue from an RP standpoint, I do like how there is continuous talk during missions and while exploring about things you run into. This also includes things like environmental awareness from the NPCs: approaching a cliff and Ryder saying, "Long way down," and other such things. I'm really liking that and it makes me feel more engaged. I'm the opposite. There's too much pointless chatter in Andromeda especially by Ryder. It really hurts the RP because that kind of autodialogue is too often character defining or just pointless. Why can't one of the companions or even SAM say these things? That way at least they don't ruin the player character and headcanon all the time. It's so jarring to me. Ryder just can't seem to shut up. It's a problem with other characters too. There's too much pointless chatter everywhere. Like they over did it or something because I don't remember being annoyed by it in previous Bioware games.
