Oh that's great! Totally missed that. Thanks. Do you happen to know if that primes with shields still on the target? All the primers I've tested only works when they're down the health or armor. I can confirm that you can get Tech combos with shields still on the target primed with Energy Drain. I've come to the conclusion that the best 3 core skills (I would argue) is shield drain, incinerate, and the remnant.

Ive only tried the Remnant Vi with the priming skill so far...and have found it to be pretty bad tbh.
Doesnt seem to prime mobs often enough. And it doesnt help that the VI seems rather slow....always behind the action.
Not impressed so far, but gonna respec it and try it again.
Does energy drain home in on targets? or is it a skill shot now?

Even if an enemy is completely behind cover you can use it, it might not do damage but in those cases I seem to still get the shield regain part of it, long as the enemy is highlighted.

The thing is it follows you, most of the engineering passives and profile work directly with buffing it and so long as it's not having a hard time pathfinding, it's amazing. It's damage is substantial IMO. If you get energy drain and incinerate to function as both primers and detonators with their tier 5 and 6 passives, then you literally have EVERYTHING you would ever need. It's all interchangeable for the situation at hand. Finally, if your remnant DOES go down or needs to be destroyed so you can relocate it, simply cast a skill with the passive Omni Vents and you can recast it in under 12 seconds plus whatever other bonuses you're using.

Keep in mind that all defense debuffs stack.
I went Energy Drain, Incinerate and Invasion.
I get a +35% total damage increase and a 70% total damage increase to fire, frost and electricity.
Since Electrical conduits suck so much its not worth it to make a gun electrical yet.
Invasion, Energy Drain, Incinerate can just about kill those Kett shielded from full.

I too use incinerate and energy drain. And then I swap the the third power for whatever I feel like for flavor. But those 2 powers are SO GOOD. Priming and comboing anything. Energy drain is almost too good...it heals, heals more over time, primes and detonates, and at rank 6 can heal your own squad too. The thing literally does everything and any profile with tech recharge it can be used quite often as well.

Overload is primarily intended as a detonator, but it does in fact prime enemies for a very brief time when it first hits them. So if you're swift enough with your follow-up, you can indeed treat it as a primer. If y'all ever add powers when y'all do DLC.............. ............consider Warp or Reave, please Raised my hand up... I really miss Warp, Reave, Dark Channel and Stasis. Especially, Warp is a classic one since ME1. I wonder why this is not included/bring to Andromeda.

After playing with the Remnant VI a but longer, i gotta say im not impressed. Its slow. Slow moving and slow firing. It barely does anything by the time combats over.
