I'd say buy but if you could provide a description of what you like and dislike of features then that could help better determine what might be the best choice for you.

Depends on whether you want to play now or later.
It's a huge game but it's a little polarizing, whether it's good or bad is a personal view.

Personally I go by the opinion the only good or bad review that counts is my own. If you aren't sure one way or the either I would suggest watching a YouTube video, the best one I have seen so far is the one from TotalBiscuitt where he spends nearly two hours talking about the game without actually reviewing it. Now he goes for the PC side of things, but I think it was a well balanced discussion. Here is the linkWith that being said I am about 30 hours into the game and having fun with it, but I don't know what you like or dislike about games to say if you would like it or not.

It's lengthy, so you may want to sit through it in a few different sessions, but it's probably the most thorough, accurate, and honest review available right now. I think basically sums it up as "an exceptional 7 out of 10". Pay attention to the strengths and weaknesses that he points out, and then consider whether those issues / praise points are things that matter to you. Then go from there.

Another vote for watching TB's WTF is video. He goes above and beyond to describe his first 30 or so hours in the game and you get a much better sense of what you'll be purchasing than a few paragraphs.

Is the EA early access still available? If so, try that. I did and, while it convinced me that I'll buy it at some point, it also confirmed that I should wait until the game is patched. So I'll be waiting a few months. This is coming from someone who had pretty much decided that they were going to give it a miss entirely prior to trying the early access.

No, in a current state - just no. Game has very mediocre story and character writing to say the least, and with all the bugs piling on top it is defiantly not worth full price. I would recommend waiting for patches, and while they will not fix story or writing, at least there hopefully be less technical annoyanses, and game probably will be costing half the price at that point.

To me, that's the best in-depth look at the game. I agree. I, myself, having tried the PS4 version, am going to wait for the PC is thoroughly patched. I understand that the PC didn't have as much issues as the PS4, but I'm not willing to play through a series of patches again like I did with Inquisition.

I'd say not now. I'm already on my 2nd playthrough, I like the game. But some of what the reviews said are true, facial animation & some bugs. Nothing gamebreaking, but I suggest you wait until it's in a better place. But definitely should get it eventually, it is a good game, even with the flaws.

no, absolutely NO. If you REALLY want to play this game then wait for it to be patched, ideally wait for "GOTY" (hahahahahahahha, no) edition with all inevitable DLC packed in for a better deal. ME:A is not worth full price.

EA Access is always available, as long as you have a subscription I'd say that the first few hours of the game definitely aren't the strongest, but it's a good starting point

I guess sometimes it helps to have strangers dictate your purchases, so:
Yes, go buy it. I don't even like space games generally, and I give it a perfect 5/7.

If you can rent it or use a friend copy somehow then do that and if you like the game then buy it. I do that with a lot of games I not too sure about.

Depends. Id say some of the negative reviews are a bit exaggarated.
It depends really what you like. If youre looking for a innovative story like in ME1 you wont find it here, its pretty mediocre in that part like ME2. Not the worst thing in the universe but nothing special either.
About the facial animations that everyone is complaining about, theyre not on par with say like Witcher 3, but if Fallout 4 or Deus Ex Mankind divided wont bother you, this wont either. Just, take my word, if youre playing Sara Ryder, make your own version or use one from the inline database. They kinda screwed up the basic model, no question about it when ive looked at it more. I made a cute asian femryder and her face was much better in those situations.
Characters can be a hit or miss, personally they kinda grew on me, especially the certain alien characters like Jaal. Dialogue is okay imo, its not the best, but its not the worst ive heard either. Dont compare this crew to Shepards. You had 3 games worth of getting to know them, this is one game, they cant compare. Also Shepard was badass military, these guys are civilian scouts and theyre also younger except for some characters, and act more casual.
If you like ME3 combat, and would like to see it only more fast based, then this games combat is going to impress. Id say it has the best combat of all ME games. Also in the exploration department its ahead of ME1, and other games planet exploring. Some of the quests can be dull tough, especially "tasks".
It is still Mass Effect, it feels like Mass Effect. Its not a betrayal.

So I haven't gotten around to play this game yet, but i'm thinking about picking it up somewhere this week. I read quite a bit of bad reviews here and some positive ones, So Is it worth it or should I just wait till its a bargain bin? After playing the game for 90 hours, my advice to you would be to wait until the game sees its first major patch. There are too many bugs and glitches/technical issues in the game at the moment to not have the immersion ruined.

I'd say buy but if you could provide a description of what you like and dislike of features then that could help better determine what might be the best choice for you. I liked the OT , first over the other two because it was a true rpg. But Me3 had great characters and I liked the combat system, the tactical advantages. I guess I don't have high expectations but I would like it to play like a next gen experience that borrows from the OT a bit in ambiance and storytelling.

I like it very much, and it actually makes me like things I normally don't care for. I am taking my time, and I am enjoying the ride. It's a very low stress game, nothing pushes you to Go Do Important Stuff while you are trying to level up with odd-ball side-quests and you KNOW it will wait till you are fully leveled, but there is also no complete lack of direction that is even more stressful.
It has a good premise for exploring without feeling like you are not doing something important, and most quests are rather entertaining and planets are gorgeous. So for 40 hours so far I have the feeling I am on a grand adventure. The team speaks and reacts as you go a whole lot more than in any other BioWARE game to date. There is really nothing I actively dislike save for crafting (which is extremely minor). Even Nomad that was a PITA with a few upgrades suddenly turned into a cool thing.
Cool game, and I would recommend it. Also, you can buy a $5 trial if it's still available, and see for yourself if it interests you or not.

I've found that different people have different tolerance for grinding through the boring stuff of which there is a lot in MEA. So if you are one of the people who don't mind playing a more grindy game with less cutscenes than previous Bioware games, there is a good chance you will not have as big of an issue with the game as me. To me the grind and fetch was soul crushing and at some point I just gave up and went for the main/companion missions so I can be done with this shit. Those weren't something spectacular too, at least for my taste. Are the planets you can visit as 'empty as i heard a few people describe? I guess the biggest concern I have for this game is that it might bore me. For some reason it doesn't look as engaging and entertaining as the others did.

I preordered and absolutely don't regret it, I love the game.
However, the fact you haven't bought it yet means you're probably not as keen as I was. So I would say wait until Tuesday and see what they announce. If EA access is an option for you then try it, but be aware the game starts slow, so don't expect the story to blow you away. But you'll get a feel for the basics of the game, see if you like the gameplay etc.
And I agree with what others have said about watching that YouTube video, that'll help you out.

I have read over and over throughout this one that people who liked the rpg elements of ME:A love this game. I like 1, 2 and 3 as a whole despite the individual weaknesses of each and I throughly enjoyed Andromeda. Played 77 hours and finished 98% of the game.

EA Access isn't representative of the whole game though. Sure you can see some of the shoddy writing, but the Single Player portion conveniently ends before the game starts to shower you with the boring shit you have to slog through. Basically you get to play the most story dense and cinematic part of the game, which is the beginning 10-15 hours and the game does NOT continue like that. I totally disagree. The first 10-15 hours are nothing compared to what comes later in terms of story, cut scenes, cinematic's and combat.
