Anyone else find that to be really out of character for the Krogan species? When I came across Kesh, I thought about this but I let it slide. One female Krogan wasn't going to make a huge difference. But there's female Krogan merchants, soldiers(!!!), even the new clan leader is female. I understand from a game perspective why there's female Krogan present in this game, but thinking back on the Original Trilogy, there's no way in hell the Krogan would allow this. Not only is there the whole 1 in 1000 birthrate thing going on, but female Krogan are rare, and are kept in their communes because of the breeding issues. The one thing that really makes me facepalm is that there's female Krogan soldiers. Because you know, throwing females out into the front lines when you got the whole Genophage thing going on is a great idea.
Who's fucking with my medicine?

For a warlike savage race like the Krogan, having a female Overlord (with the most pathetic least threatening voice ever) mix it up with the males and even dominate them all made me cringe a little, not gonna lie. That 'fight' scene was pathetic.

That 'fight' scene was pathetic. Even though it's happened historically with the Krogan before. Not exactly sure why that's a surprise. The answer is pretty simple though as to why...re-population. A few clans took every resource they had and jumped galaxies to get that fresh start. That would include a decent amount of females. Plus Kesh does mention they made a dent regarding the Genophage, so the growth in births is likely going to see a major population explosion in the coming years for the Krogan.

Because salarians murdered almost evry female krogan alive, except Eve, innit? Hmm.. maybe not Also, that fight scene was great - the realism and animations. I don't get it why people complain on it?

I could go with the logic of 600 years later they are beginning to adapt...

Natural adaptation is vastly different from gene therapy, which was impossible, never-mind the fact you cant do gene therapy in cryostasis. The cells are dormant and inactive. It's just a massive string of ass-pulls and contrivance to try and weasel out of a problem that can't really be solved in Clan Nakmor's situation.

That 'fight' scene was pathetic. The fight scene was horrific. @op Krogan female Warlords are rare but they exist. Shiagur was able to use her legendary fertility rather than her prowess to rally powerful males around her. You could make the assumption Morda has done the same. So far as Krogan females go well... I'll Google blobfish and post a pic in a minute I'm on a mobile. Hold my Ryncol. Edit: Nope won't work gimme back my Ryncol and google it yourselves.

As far as I can recall, female krogan weren't rare: there were entire female clans that had gotten together to have a voice of their own and to protect each other. Fertile female krogan were rare.
We likely didn't see any female krogan until Eve for the same reason we didn't see any female turians until Nyreen.

We've seen female warlords before. The lore has Shiagur.
What bothers me is not that the female is the warlord, but that she's somehow treated as reasonable when it's clear she's a dangerous lunatic. I found that damn drive, not her. If she wants it, she could at least be effing grateful.

Fair enough on that, but I feel like that is splitting hairs to the point of them beginning to adapt. Regardless, the reason for the more females I doubt is some sort of conspiracy theory...

According to a datapad found in spenders apartment, around 1200 krogans jumped to andromeda with the intiative. By the time andromeda begins that number gets lower because of infighting, fighting the kett etc...it makes no sense that we'd have a major population explosion if females are the ones doing the fighting and dying...

I don't have a problem with it. If I had to guess I'd think it was to find purpose. Krogan live a long time, a fresh start would be tempting as hell to a long lived species.

Because fans wanted them. Seriously. There was one in the whole trilogy and fans were like, why only one? Same w/ Salarians and Turians. BioWare tends to overcorrect a LOT.
