But Ryder doesn't have a choice Moumou. The Implant is in him/her, which he has fully accepted prior to the story starting. Why would Bioware then give player choice, when the character we play is not aligned with this school of thought? They would have to open up for branches where you get the implant removed, which is not feasible at all. I'm not saying giving the choice of having it or not but more having the choice of expressing a nuanced opinion about it instead lf the typical "people are too stupid/scared to understand." After the archon ship for example, Lexi gets upset because SAM can actually kill Ryder on command... I would have liked at that moment that Ryder sees her point and understand the potential danger of having an AI having so much access instead of gaslighting her and chastising her for being too worried. Just acknowledgement.
