In AC:OD I did the quest for the bower, found the bandits but they were being attacked by a pack of wild dogs by the time I got there, there were only two bandits left alive and two wild dogs Talk about an easy mission.

That will be a common occurrence, only problem is when the mission is to deliver something to someone and you arrive to find them being killed by wild animals. Worse you go to help a quest giver or receiver of a quest fight the wild animals and accidentally hit them and they then attack you!!!!! FYI if that does happen run away and hide (don't kill them (any civilians for that matter) that equals BOUNTY and Mercenaries) and the quest giver/receiver will after a short time reset and you'll be able to get the quest or finish the quest.

Turns out I do need sleep. So yesterday was just a bit of a poke at The Next Big Thing. Which was something completely else than what I was expecting. So didn't play it for too long, but found myself connecting to the main gal. Vegetable soup 'n' all.
Then today was just going to be a bit of Stardew Valley. Just a tiny bit and then something else... Well... At least I had fun. First dance obsession continued and managed to get both Alex and Sebastian to accept dancing on the first year. And Shane too, but that's easy. Just give him a pint on his birthday (or a pizza) and he's down to pretty much everything. Then managed to get one character stuck between some bean stalks. Which in hindsight was really stupid. And heck, during the event it should also have registered as stupid. So just a lot of dumb stuff going around. But got a good chuckle out of it as well, so all was good and fun was had.

I'm appreciating the gossip of the locals in and around ashina-castle, dropping hints and flavor regarding the tougher fights.
Besides two boss battles and a stake out under the jaw of a giant serpent, one of my favorite moments so far was sneaking around and fighting on top a set of roofs against multiple agile enemies. jumping, dodging and deflecting against multiple foes up there felt like a boss fight in itself and really sold the ninja fantasy.
Also dying, a lot.

I've been playing the original Warhammer 40k RTS. The campaign is fun. Though I'm hoping there's a imperial gaurd campaign, after the blood raven one is done. I kinda like the Imperial gaurd over the space marines. At least, from what I've seen. They have terrible bravery, but them with space marines and armor, is a very fun game to watch and play.

So jumped back in for a bit of ACOD LoTFB yesterday, didn't do too much but I must admit I am really getting sick of the civilians joining in fights. Mercenaries are annoying enough without having to do combat and try to avoid hitting some idiot attacking me with a stick as well, in particular when I can't understand their motivations. Hey I am taking down a guy that enslaves your kids so yeah by all means rush to his defence and attack me. Anyway Kass had lots of fun assassinating guards at a forge and factory or something then taking down the boss dude, I feel sure I stuffed up the choice re helping the mum (Rode(SP?))and then not sending the kids away. For the hell of it mixed my lieutenants up on The Adrestia as Uplay is about to wipe over a thousand Uplay points off my account due to the new 2 year expiry system. Have now bought every reward I can including the stupid top hatted fellows for crew that I assume are from Syndicate. New Lieutenants Celestial Crew Sorry if I chose wrong kids

Unfocused today so ended up just playing more Stardew Valley. This time it was Wanda nr 603 and what ever I'm trying to do with her. Mostly tried to set up animal husbandry and mostly succeeded. Got a coop with some lovely hens and a barn in the making. Tools are slowly turning silver and crops are booming. Got Harvey to dance on the first Flower Dance, which granted is easy since the man loves coffee and pickles, both which are fairly easy to get with her. So good times.

Hey I am taking down a guy that enslaves your kids so yeah by all means rush to his defence and attack me.
Gotta love game AI that can't tell friend from foe.
As for me, still looking for some game fun. I loaded up Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb but got irritated by the platform mechanic and no manual save option. After numerous failed attempts, I finally got where I needed to go only to have the ledge collapse beneath me and put me back at the starting point again. So, that was enough of that.
Then I decided to try Bound By Flame. This one has promise, I think. My character looks like many of my femSheps, and she's a badass mercenary-turned-flame demon host to boot. Gotta love those mystical rituals that always go FUBAR at the last minute. This one has manual saves (up to 50 slots) and is pretty similar mechanics-wise to Spiders' other games I've played, like Technomancer. Also, burning all the things is so much fun!

Unfortunately I think its a poor implementation of lore from earlier games. AC has always been big on NOT killing civilians to the point that in early games the game would kick you back to the last save if you killed even 3 or 4 and even if you did it innocently. In this game they have implemented a mercenary system, do something wrong like steal, murder etc. and mercenaries use mystical 500BC GPS to track your location down often to a metre and even when in stealth. If you do that stuff in front of civilians they also seem to think they are mercenaries and attack you with bits of wood, their fists, pitchforks (I Keep telling them I am not a witch ) or anything else to hand. And killing them raises your bounty heaps so Mercenaries mysteriously teleport from across Greece to attack you as well.

Europe, 1951. The fires of the Second World War have been burning for over a decade now as the Soviets are finally making breakthroughs in the Balkans, promising to neutralize all three Axis nations in the area - Hungary, Romania and Yugoslavia.
With Berlin being in Soviet hands for years now, the German warmachine stands only by force of sheer will of the German people. Unlike the Italians, who are enjoying a time of power not seen since the Roman empire of old and the Japanese who have monstrous gains in India, the Pacific and even the Continental United States.
The Soviet assaults are relentless, mostly provided by the Guards divisions, leaving little in their wake and Comrade Stalin has long since authorized the usage of nuclear weapons on large enemy formations.
Spain, the only member of the Comintern in Europe, has fallen very early in the war - 1941-2 and the United Kingdom now stands alone, stripped of the Empire upon which the Sun Never Sets with Canada, Australia, New Zealand falling to Japan and the African colonies unable to withstand the Italian war machine.
What's left of the Western Allied Armies is attempting to stem the tide of war, holding Belgium, part of the French northern coast, the Netherlands and assisting the Soviets with the occupation of North Germany.
Ireland is fine. They're improving relations with Switzerland.

You can't play Odyssey can you because of your chipset yeah? No I've pretty much resigned myself to needing an upgrade for the next DA game but since that's a year or two away, I'm not going to upgrade until we're much closer to a release date. Anything I could get today will be superseded by then anyway.

I need to think about saving up and buying two 1TB SSD's as the two 500Gb SSD's I have are nowhere big enough for all my games to be installed at once.

It's not my GPU that is the issue, but my CPU. It won't launch games like the new ACs (Origins, which I actually bought and installed, then refunded, or Odyssey) or even Anthem. To upgrade, I will need a new CPU, new MB, new cooler, new RAM, probably a new GPU, maybe a new case if the one I have is too small for all the new stuff. Or, maybe just a completely new rig since having to replace pretty much everything amounts to the same thing. My current one works fine though, so I hate to just set it aside to gather dust like the rest of my old PCs.

Anything I could get today will be superseded by then anyway. It depends on what you are willing to spend I suppose, my last PC lasted over 5 years (I replaced the GPU twice) because I got a high end PSU and Motherboard and Chips and decent RAM so that was all I needed to replace and that was because they died of overuse. The PC I just had built I expect to last at least 5 years, I went a bit low end on the GPU and RAM because they are easy to add to or replace but I got high end chips, Motherboard and PSU so they'd see me through for a long while. In Australia PC's are expensive so it cost me AUD $2,700 (USD $1,900) custom built and upgraded as mentioned but over 5 years I am hoping that's a good investment. I'd expect you'd be able to get my spec's for less that USD $1,900 though.

So I think its been awhile since I posted in here due to some of the things happening IRL. But needless to say I have been plugging on Ghost Recon over the last few days and I am almost finished with the main campaign. All I got is El Yayo, El Wey, El Sueno, and then the second of Ricky Sandoval's missions to do. Kind of in a weird place because I want to kind of move on a little bit for other reasons and timing reasons but also debating on whether or not I should play Fallen Ghosts for a second time, even though I didn't like it anywhere near as much as the main campaign for the game. Perhaps the most annoying story to relate in today's exploits was when I was going after El Muro. So he took off running when I came up on him and so I took out his car and was dragging him around but there was a Kingslayer file in the control tower, and I have gone back to collecting those or at least trying to. Well it wouldn't let me do it with me dragging El Muro along so I 'released' him and the MFer took off on me. . Like Usian Bolt speed so I go chasing him and disable a second car he was going for and then I decided to knock him out...which killed him. Failed my mission. And ruined some glorious sniper work. Fortunatley my second time I went in and did even better sniper work and didn't risk the KS. I also discovered that I could knock out drone jammers with sniper fire. So there was that. Still having a lot of fun with it. My average kill distance is up to 95 meters now.

More Bound By Flame... Just ran around the village talking to people and picking up side-quests. The demon doesn't have a name (yet) but I think it's related to Javik: "Why do you waste your time helping these puny primitives humans when you should be out there destroying the Reapers Ice Lords?!"

So more AC Odyssey yesterday, (just not enough hours in the day) only got a little bit done but pushed the 3rd episode of the DLC which involved sinking ships, killing a cultist and his friends and getting side-tracked killing more mercenaries!!!!! Darius attitude in confusing me slightly this episode, can't wait to see how it ends up. Damn Uplay opening the game borderless robbed me of some screenshots again yesterday!!!!! Pic's This was my preferred option Darius was not amused about my choice, not sure why they stole his grandson Scenery
