Tried to get back into my Fallout 4 save. When I put the disc in the drive, the game (which is already installed on my external drive) began installin gon my internal drive. Canceled installed and was surprised to find that it wuold launch from the external without even a reboot of the console. However, when I tried to load my save, it was telling me that it was reliant on a host of DLC and Creation club files that were no longer there even though I had not uninstalled anything at that point. Cleared my reserve space and reinstalled my Creation Club items, file then launched without an apparent issue. I'm not sure what it going on, so I'm shutting down and heading to bed.
ETA (next day): Game save appears to be corrupt. Starting a new game save today.

Played through Nostradamus the Lost Prophecy. Did use a guide for the most part to speed things up but still had a decent amount of fun. Most of the puzzles I could kinda sorta solve on my own and had fun for the most part doing it. But it was nice to just know where to go and stuff. Game was also really pretty, little neat details and stuff. So, happy I finally got to playing it.
The yesterday it was mostly dating sims. Wisdom from those: Don't bang in front of a bouquet of flowers that your rival sent you. Especially if he showed up with concerns that one specific flower might be missing. Flowers be bugged. Mini golf is scary.
Also tried to play The First Templar. First it asked for a product key. Okay cool. Then to sign up for an account, lemme get back on you later chief. Do some looking up and it seems it will eventually ask for my facebook? Haha no. So to the hidden pile with you! Since less than 2 dollars in refunds seems like a bit too much hassle.
Today played through Chronicles of Mystery Tree of Life. And it was just what I wanted. Adventure game with fairly simple puzzle and an entertaining story. Played pretty smooth so went through most of it on my own (looked up a few puzzles). Looked fairly nice. Story was something. Or well the plot was pretty decent but the dialog was out there. And frequently cut off near the end of the line so good thing I had subtitles. But got used to it fairly quickly. Had fun playing it, so that was nice.

So today I played through Oxenfree. And I hated it and I feel awful and how dare you. But yeah it was a pretty nifty game. Did try a round two but honestly just felt completely drained after the first run, so it was an interesting experience. Wait, did you like it or not? Because if you didn't - then, sir, pistols at dawn it is.

Wait, did you like it or not? Because if you didn't - then, sir, pistols at dawn it is. I hated it in a good way. It kept me feeling such dread during the whole run that by the end of it I felt physically exhausted. So basically going by the philosophy that good writing is the one that makes you feel something, be it good or bad, I'm saying that it's a very well made (written, audio and visually) game but it made me feel awful. So far as in just thinking about me makes me feel exhausted. And the evening hype had just kicked in. Which is kinda amazing. So I liked the game, even if it made me feel awful, but that in turn makes it even better. So good game, gave me feels, still feeling them.

ACOD Definitely a rampaging run this PT. I think they corrected some of the NPC responses. Take the hunt for Swordfish for example. In previous PTs, after I talked to an old fellow regards swordfish, a guard inevitably comes up and threatens the old man for talking and Kass for poking her nose where it's not wanted. After the threat, he generally just stood there, doing nothing. This time however, he actively attacks, drawing three other fellows all dressed in white. No idea if they're civilians or they're his minions. Ended up killing the NPC and knocking out the minions. Also ended up killing civilians because they just have to poke their noses in, this in turn draws the Athenian patrols and everything went into bedlam. Of course I got a hefty bounty. No problem with the mercenaries who came sniffing later. Later, I went by that fish market again to turn in some quests. Who should turn up but the white dressed fellows I KO earlier. This time, I KO them, then killed them out of sight of any civilian. Passed that market a third time later, the horse crashed against a stall of pots and broke some. Civilians took umbrage at this and of course, it's another rampage. I'm definitely not playing nice this time.

Finished my first run of Dream Daddy. And then the second...and then the third. It was nice. Made three blokes: Arthur Kilpatrick : not a perfect lookalike though, but a plump belly, a nice 'stache, long hair (in a bun) and of course, that Hawaiian shirt. Guessing he's my canon and ended up with Brian. Freddy Lostwood: It seemed clever at the time. Hehe. Hugo and Craig. Hideko No-Yu: Yurmom would probably have been more juvenile, but still had fun with it. Got the rest of the guys with him.
Then looked up how to do the secret ending. And yes. Excellent. Kinda reminded me of Nicole. And made me hanker for more. But how do you even look for it without being put on some sort of list?
Aaaaaanyways. Got three achivos left. The fishing minigame (which I did get and the game is a dirty liar), the minigolf minigame which hahahhahahahahahaha aint happening and The world Okayest dad which I'm not sure if I can do. Which is funny since seeing Amanda when checking out a lets play of this was the reason I kept putting off playing the game for so long and now I adore her. So might just leave it at that, might not. You will never know! So yeah. Had loads of fun today.

Made it through Leuvaardan's gala, though I had to reload several times due to....issues.
First time things were going fine. I gave the silent knight a bit too much too drink and learned he was just a poser there at Thaler's request. Got a ring for the Night House out of it though. Once nobody had anything new to say, I finally went to talk to Adda. Got to the point where she wants Geralt to figure out what she wants to eat, then made the rounds again to get the right info. Things were going fine until I had to drink again with the guy who caught Geralt with his hands in the spy chest. All I had was the strong stuff and so....Geralt passed out and was thrown outside.
Reloaded to back before talking with Adda, picked the wrong conversation line and she stormed off.
Reloaded again, drank too much again....see above.
Reloaded for a 4th attempt, bought up all the medium strength alcohol my portable merchant had on her, and finally made it through without pissing off Adda (too much) and without passing out.
Ugh, I hate parties.
PS - It seems really dumb that Geralt has the drunken sway after very few drinks, especially of low quality. The guy should be able to drink any normal human under the table quite easily. Also, how is it that White Honey can cleanse potion toxins from the bloodstream, but not regular alcohol??

That made me laugh so much!!!!! Not sure I have ever gotten too drunk at that party, I must be selling all my strong alcohol for coin all the time!!!!! I don't think I have ever pissed Adda off because my Geralt has a bit of a thing for her!!! Portable merchant, is that a mod? I have never modded TW1, must do that next time.

Portable merchant, is that a mod? Yep. It helps me control my "pick up everything that isn't nailed down" habit. Plus if you need to buy stuff back, she keeps everything you sold to her. You can also spawn more than one at a time, as I found out by accident when I didn't realize she was there and clicked the scroll again.
Edit: Regarding the gala, I didn't realize in my first PT that de Wett is from Nilfgaard. All I saw was the Flaming Rose armor and thought he was Redanian. It explains sooooo much.

So finished Assassins Creed Odyssey yesterday and after 488hrs and after 9 months of continuous play over two and a half PT's, 19,880 kills, 4,000km's walked and all DLC it is definitely time for a break!!!! So started playing the Crysis trilogy yesterday and my god that was a change of pace!!!!! Sword and Bow to an FPS with no cover system was great fun but my BP definitely went through the roof a few times. I have played all three games on the highest difficulty but after starting on normal had to drop it to easy at least till I get a grip on the mechanics and gameplay again. Dying all the time isn't conducive to fun or progress. So Nomad (the main character in Crysis 1) jumped out of a plane in my nano-suit, got side swiped by an alien and lost my parachute and soft landed in the ocean. If MEA didn't copy this opening with their one for Habitat 7 I'd be mighty surprised. Shot my first naughty North Korean (who are trying to get their hands on the alien tech) and then many more, took out some gun-boats, a command centre and some road blocks and communication jammers. My squad (Raptor Squad) lost a few troops to aliens over the course of discovering some intel as to where the American Hostages are that we are here to save and then took down the base with the help of my NPC buddy "Psycho" and freed the one remaining hostage (Helena Rosenthal). Pic's Leaving the plane Beautiful one moment deadly the next Vapourising our dead so the enemy don't get the tech we are wearing Someone had a problem parking their boat Psycho and Prophet they become the main Protag's in Game 3 which has much better graphics!!!! Was looking at GOG. I looked at Steam and GOG every couple of days since there're sales going on. Saw a indie rpg called Venetica that looked *promising and going for a song; about $5. Bought it. * I checked out gameplay on YT before buying it. It is voice acted, graphics is dated since it's a 2009 game but not so terrible. It's reasonable. Dialog goes pretty fast, not much emphasis on important stuff; it's like important info being rattled off the page, no heavy ponderous voice announcing stuff with gravity. Though I pretty much about 10 mins in. Clearly the devs did not do any homework regards armour and chainmail but ok, never mind, it's typical story stuff that happen.

Alien Arrival Yeah sometimes a change of pace can be a good thing though as that's why I'm changing my pace a little bit because after racing around on the F1 games lately and ziplining around Siberian Russia again shooting Trinity with Lara. I wanted something a bit more slower and tactical which is why I'm making my return to Thedas to play the DA games.

So day 2 in Crysis and just when I started getting comfortable and confident, BAM hit a really tough area where you have to navigate up a gully with a small river and entrenched snipers and troops ahead of you and also the game spawns enemies behind you as well which can often be a shock as you tend to be too focused on what's in front of you. Anyway the river thing and the troops coming from various directions really forces you to move tactically and especially slowly and using cover. Fitted a silencer so as to try and not get rushed but by the end of the area its a bit of multi-player run and gun fun with a bit of dropping into "Cloak Mode" occasionally to get a bit of an advantage!!!!! One of the main limitations of the game is there are no ammo caches just lying around and you go through a lot of ammo so after most engagements you need to go round looting ammo of dead people and as it isn't highlighted where the enemies guns are lying it can be a bit frustrating. The other option is to just keep picking up weapons but I prefer using the AR's in the game and unfortunately the really good one you start with a SCAR the enemy don't use so the best option is to switch to their F771 or whatever its called. Having got through that Nomad meets up with Prohet to take down a base where they think the hostage is being held, the only problem is that as there discussing aliens take Prophet so now Nomad is operating solo. The base is fairly tough and after about 15+ minutes of trying to get in I suddenly remembered there was an easier way in, rather than across a rope bridge over a huge canyon with two murder pits with machine guns and two towers with snipers guarding it!!!! Only good thing in stuffing around there was that the enemy signalled for a chopper to come and I just happened to be well hidden and had a missile launcher with me. So that got the chopper out of the way early otherwise its a pain in the butt when you are in the compound. Anyway took down the base and witnessed the mad enemy guy telling the US scientists they were forcing to investigate the site chatting and then the alien they were looking at (well an alien in an exo-suit) activated and froze everyone who then died. Nomad's suit protected him. So a new mission today, Nomad has to meet up with an air lift and then go help the army who can't break a defensive line at a river crossing and then some fun driving a tank!!!! Pic's Sneaking through the reeds and first guy down: Rendezvous with Prophet then an alien abduction or Prophet The palm tree fields are hard to fight in, the good thing is the machine gun on the armoured vehicles and even the assault rifles cut them down making it easier to see people to shoot them, this one guy died in an unusual pose: Activating aliens is bad and then you are frozen

Played through a few rounds of Monster Prom. Well many. In that "Just one more turn" but I've said it like 5 times and I really should stop but like a small one wouldn't hurt? So yeah I really enjoyed it. Was a bit leary when I saw short or full run since it seemed like it would be timed. Luckily it was not and the timing was more estimates.
First run was the best because Damian+Arson+Rampant Violence are my favorite things. Next few runs were the sad realization that I can't woo anyone else and am in general a failure. Then things picked up again, but still, first run was the best. Seducing the dark lord is a close second.
Was also kinda amazed how little repeated dialog I saw. Because I was hitting the same groups of people a couple of time and most of the time seeing new lines. So that was real neat. All in all it was really nice. Will probably fire it up some time in the future to do one more turn and try to get some more achivos. Also ended up playing through Cafe 0. It was a much more linear experience, but still had fun. Was kinda hoping for a bit more sleuthing but instead you pick one person and ride it out. But the way it wrapped up in the end made up for it. So it was quite a nice experience. So all in all a nice day of reading text and looking at pictures.

So a bit of a tough slog for Nomad today, did some driving and had to fought through a couple of roadblocks or rather accelerate into them killing multiple soldiers with the car then cleaning up the rest with the gun!!!! Made the RV site for the airlift but of course it is over run with enemies so Nomad had to clear it and in the process notices that they have nano-suits of their own but they are of course cheap knock-offs on the real thing. Cleared the site and joined old buddy Psycho for the trip and got dumped at a ridge line over looking a river where the army is being pounded to hell by airstrikes and AA so Nomad volunteers to take the out the AA guns. Killed some troops, stole a boat with hard to aim machine gun, cleared some mines, took down the AA guns using explosives and the cleared a bridge. Had another encounter with a helicopter and had to run around trying to find a missile launcher all the while whilst being shot at by said helicopter but ended up taking that down. Then had a glitch experience where the helicopter had crashed on to the bridge I had cleared, started across the bridge but enemies started shooting me and they turned out to be the crew of the helicopter still strapped into their completely destroyed chopper firing pistols at me!!!!! Anyway they didn't keep shooting for long. Then had to go to another site to find some intel, got harassed by another helicopter all the way there but had no missiles. So took out the troops at the site and eventually found a damn missile launcher to get rid of said helicopter which helpfully crashed on to a sniper tower for me killing the snipers!!! So then got directed to a large fuel facility where a Destroyer was moored and had to take down the ships radar so an air strike could take down the Destroyer. Anyway the base is large and there was lots of death dealing but with some help from Psych who was performing Sniper duties on top of a huge crane. That meant using my cloak I could run round behind most of the enemies using SMG's for a change to take them down. For some reason the dev's decided at this point to put in a really stupid thing. The first time I played this I just could not figure out how to get on to the damn Destroyer, however there is one particular pole near the ship that you with great difficulty can jump on to and then again with great difficulty jump on the ship. So aced the pole and ship jump first time but then got stuck on some parts of a helicopter I'd downed and that fell on the ship, fortunately I quick saved before the pole jump. Unfortunately it took me 5 subsequent attempts to get on to the damn ship. Anyway disabled the ships radar and called in the air strike, Hooyah. The off to meet the air drop and finally get my tank to drive around in and kill bad guys. Hopefully it goes well but airstrikes often wipe you out in one hit and you have to start again!!!! Pic's Roadblock, what roadblock A rendezvous at a graveyard what could go wrong????? Yay my ride arrives Hey there Psycho and the banter begins Nomad to the rescue Boating fun and nice scenery Who doesn't like blowing stuff up? Did someone order a tank?

So in baseball...5 games I think. I do seem to get a bit carried away with these things. Anyways won all 6 of them, here are the highlights. JD Martinez is up to 50 games on his hitting streak. Kimbrel is onto his 46th save I believe. I struck out 19 over 8.2 innings. Gave up a solo home run to Alex Gordon of all people to make it 2-1...and since my stamina was in the red had to bring in Kimbrel. Sale afterwards had a complete game shutout. In one of the games spent the entire game really struggling. Down 3-1 in the bottom of the ninth. First JD got things going. Then eventually Steve Pearce hit a two run double to tie the game up with two outs. He would score on the next single. JD Martinez would hit a solo home run to walk it off in the bottom of the ninth. Last game my offense finally got it going finally to give me a releatively easy win 7-3 over the Angels. Moreland started it off with a ground ruled double which scored one. JBJ would ground out...but that would score the runner on third who couldn't score because of the ground ruled double. Then Porcello would get rocked. Back to back home runs and three XBHs tied the game, but he worked his way out of it and settled down. Moreland would tie it up, this time with a single driving in one. Then JBJ hit a double of his own giving me the lead. Tried to get cute and sac a run in..and it didn't work. But Benni would salvage the situation with a single hit right down the third base line making it 5-3. Score would stay that way till the bottom of the eigth when I pinch hit for Vazquez, Pearce would deliver, then Devers drove in the final run.

So yesterday had intended to go Tank adventuring with Nomad in Crysis but remembered this is also the point where The DLC cuts in and Pscho takes over as Protagonist so decided to do that instead. So basically Psycho gets sent in to provide support to a Special forces squad who are tracking a container that the US believes contains a Nuke. His first task is to find the container and as he does this he gets air support from a guy O'Neil who tried but failed to make Raptor Squad, Psychos squad with the fancy Nano-Suits. Anyway Psycho's first target is a Beach Resort the enemy is using as a staging point and it has to be done on foot and slowly otherwise Psycho just gets overwhelmed by troops and armed vehicles. The toughest part is taking out a tank and the only way to do it as it patrols back and forth up the road is to sneak up behind it and throw explosives on it then run away and detonate them. You can lay landmines but I always seem to put them in the wrong place as the Tank misses them. That done O'Neill manages to get himself shot down and Psycho has to go rescue him which he does and its one of the tougher fights as there are a lot of enemies and you can't just sit in cover or sneak around so basically I equipped dual sub-machine guns and just ran around like crazy killing enemies for about 15 minutes. Psycho then retrieves the planes black box and finds O'Neill and they head for an extraction point where O'Neill can be picked up. This leads to a series of fights from vehicles, Psycho grabs a mini-tank and blasts through checkpoints and then gets another APC from said checkpoint and so on through about four of them blowing up buildings, trucks, fuel tanks, helicopters and killing lots of enemies. There is some tactics in using various vantage points and approaching from different directions but the main tactic is engage from as far away as possible. Anyway its a fun sequence!!!!! That done O'Neill leaves and agrees to provide air support as Psycho continues looking for the container. TBC Pic's Psycho departs on his mission Wildlife - its amazing the game has so much wildlife in. these birds seem to be everywhere Some Crabs Air Support The Beach Resort The Beach Resort and my new sweet ride What once was a tank Blowing stuff up

A couple of days ago I loaded up an old Civ V game (I always play huge + marathon, so these things take weeks and weeks to play through). Byzan and I'm locked in and the only thing I can do about it is three huge wars. I had the money and happiness for it, but not the stomach. Just played one or two turns, putting some more Tanks in production.
Today, I felt crueler, and attacked. "Liberated" 7 cities in a streak, cleared up my borders and gained access to my Eastern Ocean.
Two wars to go, to open my Capital's harbor to the Western Ocean. If I do that, I'll be the sole owner of my continent, and I can start paying some attention to Mahatma 'Nukeparty' Gandhi and his aggressive India, which is meanwhile winning this game. Must build navy.
(Yes, I'm still on my England game as well, but haven't done anything, except founding 3 new cities (6 tot) (desert islands no one wanted, but the fishing is good and who knows, maybe there'll be oil and aluminum some day). Still no Iron, and none in sight, so I'll just have to live with it (and without Frigates or Ships of the Line.)

Decided to fiddle a bit with Sims 3, Steam version and bought for a song. After 18 hours, I uninstalled it because the game is poorly optimized. The graphic card was getting worked to the nines. Compared to ACOD which is graphic intensive and I don't even get a single second of lag in it, Sims 3 is a joke.

I FINALLY uploaded my FO4 Children of Atom settlement video. Took me 10 hours to put it together, ugh.
The settlement itself took something like 90 hours to build with custom settlers. Insane, I know.

Been fiddling with some Sims 4 mods in the past few days, trying to make "references" for some (maybe) eventual story characters spoiler tag due to the size of the images, also please don't mind some of the clothes, I've yet to find some good ones (I only have the base game and don't want to spend hundreds of bucks on expansions I won't end up using) Verity Baileyshe's my main OC, a traveling sorceress using illusion powers (among others things) Cadance Allardshe's Verity's closest and oldest friend, unlike Verity she's not a sorceress but a fashion designer CJ (Cecil James) Hawthornehe's Verity's eventual lover, prefers CJ to his actual name because he finds it SO old fashioned, he's a sorcerer/business man kind of guy then the other day I asked a friend of mine to give me some random references and have me make a character with them, they turned out...interesting he told me to make a muscle woman and then a feminine man, then I made the random comment to say they'd make a nice couple, so there we go the muscle lady (who my friend named Marline) I can totally see her being a blacksmith or something, or maybe a car mechanic and her effeminate hubby the shirt makes it look like he has breasts, but I can assure you he's male (I made him after all) my dad suggested added some scruff or body hair, the first one made me think of Conchita Wurst, and the latter is (until now) unavailable in Sims 4 'sides it'd defeat the purpose he'd probably be some sort of mage/bard or maybe a painter (or a health guru, he seems like the type ) I named him Angelo, 'cause he looks angelic I might eventually place some of them in my actual game, once I...you know...get around to actually doing that (I tend to spend more time in CAS then anywhere else in the game )

I killed a woman who was sitting around minding her own business: Then I killed my lover: Actually did both options to see what happens if you declare her love, annoyingly she gets all pissy. So I thought I'd go the Greek tragedy route, which seems fitting. Then I sailed a boat:
