Necromancer are not squishy and are the easiest class to play. You just need to learn to switch to Shroud to mitigate damage and get the trait that dump you in shroud on death. My Reaper (that's the HoT specialization) is basically immortal, but kinda boring to play. yeah, first time playing GW2 I was also a Necromancer...she was tons of fun to play I even made her a descendant of my GW1 character (who was an elementalist/necromancer)
I've pretty much tried every class in the past, and now just went with a few that I found interesting then again, the new Revenant class also seems interesting
I really enjoy playing spellcasters, generally hanging back in fights...preferably letting minions or whatever take the initial beating for me (yeah, I'm terrible I know)
meh, I'll just sleep on it for a bit... Yeah I prefer playing ranged characters o rspell casters I'm no ton efor normally getting up in an enemies face and slicing it off. I know I'm planning a magic based build for my first run of Code Vein. In fac tI downloaded i ttoda ybut I haven't looked a tit yet but I certainly want t ohave a little look a tthe CC though I'll be saving playing it until I'm done with my latest DAI run. I've got an idea of how I want my first character t olook like I jus thaven' t created her yet. But I know I plan on going wit ha female mage type to begin with while I learn the game.

So yesterday raised Arl Aemon from the almost dead with the ashes of Andraste and then headed to Denerim after sending Jowan to the Circle of Magi. Headed off to rescue Anora, killed Howe and all his cronies and then got double crossed by Anora. In the battle with Ser Cautherien (SP?) I normally win it to skip the dungeon but thought I'd lose this time which led to doing it 3 times!!!!! First I thought I'd kill everyone and let my party die and see how far I'd get by myself and it got down to 1 guard left and the idiot couldn't hit me more than one shot in ten with his crossbow. So unequipped my weapons and closed so he could use his sword but Amos punched him dead in 3 punches!!!!! So decided to do it again and thought I'' just kill Cauthrien to get the Summer Sword and then just stand there, that worked but the game glitched when I got transported to the Fort Drakon, I chose Leliana and Morrigan but only Morrigan appeared in the chantry robe and chatted to an invisible Leliana but no dialogue choices came up and the Sister you talk to just said her first line and that was it. So started it again which meant re doing the battle with Cauthrien again killed her looted her sword and again just stood their and died. Chose Leliana and Morrigan again and same thing happened. I am guessing it is because I had modded armour on Leliana. Anyway Morrigan managed to kill everyone by herself, so then headed back to Eamons estate after looting all the chests in Drakon. Spoke to Anora and Eamon, spoke to Anora and suggested she marry Alistair then persuaded Alistair to marry Anora. Told Eamon and then headed off to get votes for the Landsmeet (oh and killed Vaughan Kendall in the dungeons) next off to the Alienage. Pic's Chatting with Logie I am going with "Brave" might try and make a Cauthrien face for Hawke when I play DA2 next if I can make it work. Just die already will you Oww that looks like it hurt, now give me that sword Useless guard, just kill me already I am not even trying. Nope couldn't do it could you!!!! Morrigan taking care of business by herself

Do you have the extra dog slot mod installed? This is a known issue with that mod. I disable it before the encounter with Cauthrien if I plan to be captured, then re-enable it once back at Eamon's estate.

I was annoyed when my choice of companions for the rescue didn't show up so had to figure out how to fix it. I don't go that route often - prefer to get out of my own messes - so I wanted it to work right.
Back in Witcher - met with Corinne Tilly to get the lead about Dandelion, then headed over to his newly inherited inn to find Zoltan kicking ass and taking names. After helping him literally kick people out of the place, the two rummaged around in Dandelion's stuff to find his planner. Now Geralt has a list of angry women to go talk to.

Yeah s odo I usually I surrender to Cauthrian then fight my way out of the prison. Or at least my smart "let's not pick a fight unless we have to type wardens" go that route. In other news hada look a tCode Veins CC and it's definitely incredible. Managed t ocreate an avatar I'm happy with for my first playthrough when I get in to play. Looking forward to seeing her in action and playing the game.

So BF 2:...Played way too much BF 2 to properly write everything down and remember everything. I guess trying to take advantage of that MP weekend...and other things allowed me to do it this much. So I tried out all the Assault modes with some mixed results overall. I still pretty much suck at all of this. I don't think I will be doing too much of Strike Extraction or Capital Supremay...but Galactic Assault and Starfighter mode look pretty good. Of course I really didn't get to do too much heroism stuff throughout it. I only played Obi-Wan...and very quicly got wrecked...well actually that was CS. Now I know heroes are supposed to be awesome but it does strike me as being a little...weird, I mean I know Heroes are supposed to be awesome but sometimes it just seems like they are insta targets and they don't last long either...I didn't have any luck with the reinforcements...though again didn't try out any of the heroes on GA either. Yet anyways. Liking the Heavy and the Specialist the best so far. Can't wait to get to some of the better weapons...IF I ever get there lol. The heavy is really satisfying just wrecking huge swaths of enemies when you get that far...oh and aslp played Co OP...THAT is where I played Obi-Wan on...bit didsspointing there does not seem to be any Empire/ Rebellion for that. Over in HvV...I think I mentioned how Obi-Wan and Kylo are the best for me weirdly enough? It was the best of times it was the worst of times. I think I might be getting a little more used to Rey...of course that mode is just so hot and cold and your success can really depend on how good your team is versus how good their team is with huge discrepensies...its also funny in a way that as good as GA is and probably about team work in its own way I don't feel like that any one player or their mistakes truly dooms that...you might as well be fighting against waves of random mooks at that point...OH NO ITS REY...Ah Crap Yoda again... Its also weird for a shooter and stuff this game is just set up very weird...yet I still stress...oddly fun.

Revenant is a jack-of-all-trade, it's basically 4 classes in one for the base HOT version (melee tank, assassin, healer and support) and you can run two of those at the same time. One of the thing I love about GW2 is that the classes all fell so different to play depending on your builds and from each others. If you are bored with something, just switch abilities or go play another character. yeah, I've been reading up a bit on the various classes, but I still haven't really made up my mind yet
my problem is also generally that I have trouble naming my characters, more so in mmo's because nine out of ten times the name you have planned is already used thankfully GW2 allows for spaces between names, which is why I tend to give my characters first and last names (even on races that generally don't have one, like the Sylvari)
I think I might delete my ranger and re-roll her as a mesmer, and leave the ranger for maybe a Norn or another Sylvari as for a Revenant...I do plan on making one as probably a Norn...I mean, what's scarier then a person who's blindfolded then a 9 feet tall person would could tear your limbs of just by staring at you?
though chances are I'll likely delete my current characters and start from scratch...it's been known to happen...I've learned not to question my methods

Left the cozy home of Coastal Highway for Timberwolf Mountain and settling in Milton. A long ride. Journey to the mountain was quite smooth - didn't have to cross all Pleasant Valley. The leg to Milton would be trickier. Set up a base camp at the Mountaineer hut and went to scout a way. I know there are several, some include ropes but I eventually stumbled on an alternative route to my known one. It would be a first time to summit though. Took me three days of caves accomodation and a deer headshot to get to the final leg to summit.
The way up wasn't clear and I had some trouble finding my way to an upper plateau, there was finally a gap in the mountains to the final plateau before the climb but it was patrolled by the Bear. I sneaked past it with a bit of stone trickery. A small cave was quickly identified to fall back to and a little stream indicated my way up. And a wolf patrol at the foot of the mountain. Several carcasses already plastered its killing field. I decided for a sneaky pass. The weather was getting worse, reaching the climb would be possible but what about shelter and visibility up there. In a blizzard you can kiss orientation good bye. Always have some sticks but a blizzard outlasts most campfires. Or blows them out when the wind turns. However I found an sheltered spot - not quite a cave but enough windshielding to make a small fire. Some loot indicated earlier visitors among it firewood, most treasure in this moment. A nights rest and a change in weather would enable me to the hopefully, final climb to the summit. I proceeded the path up and found another climb spot to go down, but no rope attached. There was one in my nightly shelter so I fixed that rope for an eventual climb down on the way back.
When I went up the final rope the weather had indeed changed and it got severely foggy. Bad for visibility but I didn't expect a vast area to explore up top. A little rest on the climb on a ledge, some coffee got me up no problem. Still foggy I explored the summit area and found the tailsection full of crates. Bring hacksaws, there is some of everything. Concentrating on ammo and food I scrounged the loot. Excellent sweaters. Never had these. Prime loot right there. I spent another night in the cozy tailsection to awake to a glorious sunrise and a stunning vista to the valleys below from the broken tail section. I was ready to begin my descent again and I would take the original route I knew with the help of the rope I attached earlier. No hostile wildlife stood in my way to the base camp where I reorganised my gear and prepared for the journey to Milton.
The next day in clear weather I set out to pass Pleasant Valley again. I planned to go through the middle, it would have me rest at the farm house. But for some reason I must have taken a wrong turn and I ended up on a little plateau near the crashed plane with no escape than hardcore climbing (whicnh is basically pixelling a way along rocks hoping to avert a fall and ankle sprain. I made my way with just one ankle sprain but that really took some scouting to find a possible way. An old hut was nearest for shelter so I took it easy shot some rabbits and made a rest.
Next day would take me to farmhouse, some reorganising, some repairs and then on to Milton.

I am still waiting until The Outer Worlds come to Steam or GOG. The same goes for Borderlands 3. And there is still no news about a possible PC port of Trails of Cold Steel 3. So - In the mean time I decided to play some light stuff, and read some visual novels. No - Those last ones are not games, but nevertheless are fun to "play". At his moment I'm doing "Flowers -Le volume sur printemps-" and after that I will do the sequel "Flowers -Le volume sur ete-". The third one is in QA, so I expect it will be released soon. The last one will take some time, but I am sure it will be translated too.
Anyway - As I said, I am playing some light stuff now. I had a few games on the "tryout" list, so I am playing these right now. The games are: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Blue Reflection, Atelier Rorona and Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered. There are some more waiting to be played, but all the above takes up my available playtime.
It's funny - I was never that much interested in the above titles, but to my surprise they turned out to be very fun to play. Well - You live and learn. Maybe it is because the "previous good" AAA titles are riddled by Game Passes, micro-transactions, Game-As-Service garbage and gamble stuff (to name a few)? I have simply lost interest in these AAA game titles. For example - I liked the "old" Wolfenstein games, but they turned those games in complete garbage. The prime example is that abomination that's called Wolfenstein - Young Blood. What in earth they where thinking when they designed that? Was it meant to be a parody or something? If not, it's even more tragic what became of that once so good series.
Enough rambling. I have fun with the games I am playing now, and that's what counts...

The way to Milton would lead me through Carter Hydro Dam and the dreaded Mystery Lake region. This playthrough is about visiting places I haven't been yet. There is some places in Forlorn Muskeg but I don't like the place. Nor do I like Mystery Lake. Dreadful little hills. Lots of spraining and getting lost with a wolf right below next ridge. It was a marathon through it. No rest for the wicked and no stops for looting. Evading three wolve patrols I made my way to the mine leading to Milton where I would rest. Next morning a climb and hopefully no wolf in my way.
Relatively uneventful I made my way to the Paradise Meadows. With a wolf stalking the front of the farmhouse. Now I remembered why I never chose this place. I'd need to find a key, too. So I started looking, occasionally dodging into a car to throw wolf off and hope it'll patrol some remoter paths. In the barn I found the key on a corpse and could finally make camp in the farmhouse. It looked a bit disappointing. Run down. But with a six cooker. And a fireplace with two slots bonus. Some reorganising later I planned my journey to the very start of story mode. Another little crashed plane - a place I never visited in survival. Thrown off by doormat wolf and an attempt at hunting and tracking deer I ended up shooting around Milton at wolves with my revolver. Losing all my arrows and 3 of them (arrow tips!!) gone for good when they stuck in deer that survived and I couldn't track again. At least not without running into wolves. But some caracasses of deer herded into wolves provided lots of meat and hides. I also found loads of bich and maple saplings. But the arrow tips a the scarce ressource. They have to be forged and I left some in Coastal Highway. 4 arrows I could renew though. I would need to make count or tackle prey in more controlled environments to savely retrieve arrows. Milton House might actually be the better place with its closer distance to enclosed hunting grounds. 6 cooker too. Eventually I set out for the plane wreck. Enjoyable journey. A close encounter with Bear and a wolf standoff - it met my revolver. Revolver has pretty much turned Long Dark gameplay for easier. But I don't complain. It's all about the journey. So most places have been visited except for the new region, but that has timberwolves packs and I do not like them because they do not follow patrols it seems, they just randomly spawn on you and there is just shooting or using "marine" flares to scare them off. Essentially they're just ressource drain, but I dislike their random spawning on players most. So no to that region. Muskegg is dreary place with one outlook I need to visit. Then there is Ravine to visit - a transition map - maybe on way back to Quonset? Broken railway I've mostly seen in story and one survival start there. Not my fav map neither. So far my favs are: Coastal Highway (fishse all you can eat, ocean, bear and rabbit island and hills to travel) Desolate Point (my own lighthouse, boat, church and Scruffy. I killed Scruffy, by the way on my journey to Deso Point. It was a creepy encounter in dark cave, lots of flare usage but it didn't almost kill me like the wolves in Broken Highway) Pleasant Valley (not nice to look at but good variety) Milton (Man, if it wasn't all the wolves here, the place would be great) There is one region I've never been in and that is Hushed river valley so that is my next stop and probably the end of the playthrough.

More Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Reached the endgame dungeon with my Eldritch Rogue/Arcane Trickster. She was fun to play with a better ranged attack bonus than Ekun, high sneak-attack boni and doing criticals on 17-20 as well, but I miss being on-the-spot versatile in magic. So now I'm thinking of yet another replay with a Sylvan Sorceress with a leopard companion (the leopard should help with the Early Game Hell). So many character options in this game. I thought of playing a Kineticist but since Kanerah is the only romance option I like (I like Valerie, but she's a better friend than lover for most of my characters) and thus I always end up with her, I tend to already have one in my standard party.
I wish there were more cleric options than Harrim and Tristian. I'm fed up with Harrim and I can't stand Tristian. Linzi can be a good substitute healer, but only mid-game, and anyway it appears only clerics have the energy focusing ability. As it is, I have two indispensible NPCs on my team. Valerie as the only tank and Harrim as the only cleric whose presence I can stand. Valerie could do with a better portrait. She's said to be very beautiful - it's even a topic in her quest - but her portrait doesn't reflect that.
Also, I took the good option for Jaethal's final quest for the first time, since for the first time she's not the one and only indispensible secret-discoverer in the team. I heard I'll see her again after the fallout from that decision removed her from my party...
As for companions, Kanerah is my favorite by far. It's not that I dislike everyone else, but rather that, apart from being a really good ranged damage-dealer in your party, Kanerah seems designed with people like me in mind - reasonable, pragmatic, loyal, moderately selfish but not completely without compassion. There are two plays to play her romance: one centered on "I really like you" and another centered on "think of what we could achieve together". Both are very satisfying.
The only reason why I don't immediately embark on another replay is that it's a very long game. And I am a completionist.

After a bit of a break of Elite:Dangerous, I'm still making my way to the Cavins system from Sag A. My ship's paint job has basically been fully ablated off by stellar debris, but she seems to be holding up fine. The docking computer is ironically the part with the lowest integrity of my components. Hopefully I don't run adrift in a huge expanse of brown dwarfs that cause me to run out of fuel.
Fingers crossed.

Curious Crow 7th Generation (Sun/Moon and Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon) was the first one where I couldn't care less about competing Pokedex and I usually love doing it (the fact that I reset my Pokemon X 3 times just to complete Pokedex every time or the fact that I'm completing it on both Sword and Shield should be telling). So I can't say I'm surprised it stopped you from playing. Oh you gonna be surprised about Litten's final evolution Well, good thing you have Pokemon Moon, since Drifloon's Sun entry is even worse. If you consider kidnapping children into afterlife worse than loud exploding soul

Decided to stick with my Sylvari Guardian in GW2 for now I can always make a new character if and when I feel like it (mostly because right now I can't figure out what else to make anyway) atm. she's gathering allies to fight against a gigantic undead dragon named Zhaitan mostly to take back a city from it...and to avenge her mentor Tybalt who gave his life covering her escape (his death (and that of the other order mentors) always made me sad )
...what's it with most western games and making dragons evil anyway? She's also made it to level 70, but there's still a lot of ground to cover, both literally and figuratively (I currently have roughly 50% of the game map uncovered (not counting the areas added by the expansions) as for her specialization...one of them is aptly named Dragonhunter...which gives her access to a bow (I'll be grabbing that once I get there)

...what's it with most western games and making dragons evil anyway? Probably because of the Saint-George and the dragon legend. The prototypical hero save the princess from the evil monster tale. Although, in GW2, the Elder Dragons aren't exactly evil. You learn more about that in Living Season 3 and 4.

Seems plenty evil to me...
ah well, guess I'll have to be patient for those Living Season parts

Rascoth I haven't even completed a pokedex once, so doing it three times sounds exhausting. But it's good to know I gave up on a tedious dex. I do kinda like these morbid little entries, so the spookier the better. That little "It dislikes heavier children" is hilarious to me. Kinda regretting getting Moon since it always ends up being nighttime for me and the nurses complain I'm out late even if it's just like 2pm or something. I know I can mess around with the DS clock but then I always get a hankering to play it late. So bah. Oooh and Ignis just evolved today. And now he's another entry in the "Oh god why do I like this" club with Bouncee. Had it in my head he'd turn into the fat version of Watchog, so I'm both relieved and a bit scared. --- As for what was done did today. A bit more Pokemon Moon. Was going to do a more Pokemon Moon since I was out and about but curse the batteries inevitable betrayal. Anyways, so Matt Damon was sacrificed to acquire PITA the Sandygast, since the only weak move Bouncee has is a normal type, Ignis just wrecks things and Matt Damon was conveniently there and not evolving ever. (He's not dead, just taking a vacation in the box. Six feet under.) Also got paid for tossing sea hedgehogs back into the ocean because tourists don't like seeing them on the beach after they dried out and died. Weird. Got 20k out of it so that bow I saw earlier could well become mine. Was reminded that I visited a supermarket yesterday with an obsession for discount coupons, so basically everything you bought was half off. Saw three different dishes of Slowpoke tails in the freezer there. AND NO OPTION TO BUY THEM. And was kinda surprised since I remember how big of a deal the tail cutting operation was in Silver/Gold/Crystal. And now just buy a box and microwave them. Yum yum. Then ironically walked into a house later in the game where some people were like "Damn you Team Skull for taking Slowpoke tails!" Shakes fist. They'll loose their minds if they ever find that store. Which reminds me that pokemon dex entry for Bouncee's first form (bounsweet) said that they were too sweet for humans to eat dry, but it was common to gather their sweat, mix it with water and drink it as a juice. Which feels kinda creepy. The other games entries basically state that they taste sweet and nothing they can do will stop bird pokemons from eating them. So I guess that pokemons are indeed on the menu in this game. And it makes sense and is very realistic but that's my childhood you're covering in gravy and gobbling up over there. Also played a little bit of Pillars of Eternity. And may have put trial of Iron on. And Edér might have died. Which bodes well for this run. Haha.

So yesterday completed the preliminaries to the Landsmeet and headed straight there after chatting with Eamon. I hate how you still have a dialogue with Cauthrien entering even though I killed her and looted her sword, but I enjoy tlking her down even if she is like, no, no, no, no, then YES OK. Anyway took an option I have never done before because I don't like pissing Alistair off, I made Anora and Alistair still marry but recruited Loghain. Wen to the cam to talk to Loghain, I wanted to like him but he is such a dick!!!!!! Anyway wish I'd known about this option before starting it and taken all Alistair's gear. Pics Forgot I did the alienage as well, met these folks. Ouch So wanted the crazy elf to be Sera from DAI when I heard that speculation Happy to talk but you do know you are on fire yeah? Cranky Loghain Anora takes the Initiative My new recruit

In BF 2... So actually first of all bit of a gaming dilemna...which not sure if anyone will offer their thoughts on this or not, but hey gotta bear my soul out somehow. I mentioned recently that I am a bit *scared* of Anthem. Mainly that I fear like I am almost done with the game and...well bottom line for a live service game there does not seem to be a lot of content in terms of...well any content. It just seems to be centered around free play challenges...which aren't my cup of tea...but there is just little in the way of side quests or main quests. So...I'm probably almost done with it...and with BF 2 honestly...so I will be looking for another SP game to play. Almost wanting to give Wild Hunt another stab but I just got news that GR:B might be doing its big prophesied patch in Feb. The one which will be adding, hopefully, all the changes that should've been in the game since launch so hopefully that game can be the game it should've been...at launch. Just Feb is not enough time for me to get through all of Wild Hunt at the rate I play games. Hmm you know the more I think about it the more I think I can just putter around in BF 2 MP until then so never mind...that should be long enough. Oh and Uncharted actually...yeah ignore me. So BF 2: I am all the way up to the battle of Jakku and well this game is pretty quitesentially Tier 3. Fun, yet also highly dissapointing in its own way. I mean for such a short game you spend way too much time in the shoes of the classic heroes. I mean aside from her turn heal Iden is a perfectly interesting character that I do want to see more of...her and Del both. I want to see more time for their relationship to actually develop and to get more time with her and him. Either make the game longer by having more missions with them to balance out the heroe stuff, like you lay as Leia and then you do a mission as Iden on the same level...or just play the Iden bits for those missions and not the hero bits. It does make me wonder what kind of a game the new rumuroed KOTOR reboot is going to be... Over on the MP side of things did a round of MP on Crait. GA. I love the map but that first initial trial was a bitch and a half, wide open spaces offering great sniping positions for the FO. I was a heavy though and I equipped the star cards that gave me battle points each time I was hit. So I did get to play Rey. Only got about 400 battle points with her though which I consider decent...and then the Youtube vids I was watching earlier showed her getting fifty player kill streaks. I mean in my defense it was in the phase where you have to defend the room so I was still afraid of snipers. On the flip side I think Maul got me or I got him. HvV...Man this is starting to remind me of a lot of my other game play ops. A good day followed by a terrible day. Just whatever I was doing just was not working with anyone. On the flip side I might be getting a little more used to Rey and I feel like she is a bad arse just not playing her...or anyone really lol...right I was paying attention to her stamina regen and boy did it come up very fast it seemed a lot of the time. Also a funny moment happened I was trying to play Han, and again probably my fault but the blaster heroes stink because it seems like you can't block the Force abilities or lightsabers of the enemy...anyway though I just got killed by a MAX LEVEL PALPATINE OF ALL PEOPLE and was looking up at him...and I noticed something hillarious. Palp wears his pant legs up a little bit above his ankle I'd say...much like a certain someone...oh IDK...HIS GRANDAUGHTER...they even have the same fashion sense!

I finally got a bigger unlimited tube to the internet, so I downloaded Gears of War 4 on Gamepass for PC: 133.7GB. I kinda wanted to try Gears 5 first, but I read that it followed GoW 4 story so I started with that one. Comments: - I haven't played a pure shooter since, hmm, somewhere in the early 2000s. - I want more sniper bullets! I love using snipers, but not enough bullets so I'm stuck using other weapons. - My second goto weapon is the shotgun, but it's not that practical to use in the game unless the enemies rush you. - I can see where BioWare took their combat inspiration for ME2/ME3. - I find it a lot more repetitive than ME2/ME3, but the story is probably like 8 hours long so I can probably survive it until the end.
