The way conversation histories in the game work, it's much more likely that Scott is the one who talks about wanting a family (Emotional dialogue?) and Gil just references it later on. Perhaps he wasn't up for it that much but when you were in danger, he realized he wanted one with you after all.

They're not as bad as people are making them out to be so no I doubt it.
If anything a quick fix to some eye properties should do the trick, as those are the cause of most complaints.

People will buy BioWare games en masse as always. $$$ will be made. People that enjoy it will be happy. People that don't will bitch about it for the next 5 years. The cycle continues.
P.S. Unfortunately, BioWare is the poster child of "SJW" that pisses off a great deal of the Internet trolls who live in their mothers' basement.

Maybe your mom was porcelain white and your dad was half-white. Actually it's not so much a bug as much as a feature design flaw. Your father is picked based on your preset without further modifications (such as skin tone changes). They should fix that.

At a time when humanity literally has no home, I wonder what his own motivations are for prioritizing the welfare of his own kid over his commitment to the Andromeda Initiative and tens of thousands of humans depending on him.
It's a moment that only a parent would truly understand and appreciate I think. A very human point in the story that is probably undervalued by some people here.

When some animation glitches and a gun mishap in one cutscene out of thousands are people's biggest problem with MEA.
They're probably popping champagne bottles.

....
Er...
The fact that human accents are used in presumably machine auto-translated alien communications pretty much require a suspension of disbelief on its own since aliens don't even speak English to begin with...
...Humans have different accents. Why wouldn't aliens have different ones too?
I mean...
er...
You can theorize that the machine translator implanted in you provides a randomly generated accent for the person communicating with you.
There.

Id rather have 6 large worlds with intresting maps and quests around to explore, than 35 small worlds, which are completely barren and empty aside from some copypasted, boring warehouses, bases or mines, like we had in ME1. In fairness that's a wrong comparison to make. ME1 had a half a dozen linear plot worlds with the rest being exploration/side quest maps. MEA has a few more plot worlds, and those worlds are far more expansive. On top of that, like ME2/ME3/DA2/DAI approach, there are a few maps designated specifically for squad members. The rest, like ME1, are just exploration/side quest maps. So I'd say MEA incorporates ME1, ME2, and DAI's design.

I think scouts serve a vital and well respected role. I also think that the inherent danger of the role is a good reason why they do not and should not be calling the shots. Who said they are calling the shots?

Btw OP it's important to note the possibility of there being hidden systems that are not yet reachable for plot reasons. That is a possibility, yes. A very strong one given that it has precedent. Every game has had hidden systems before.

You again... Yes, if we have a planet where a random crater suddenly is a point of interest, but 20 others where no such a thing pops up, it's called inconsistency... I mean, if that's the standard, one might argue that every planet will have SOME feature worth noting, no? There are reasons for that 1) Detection of something remarkable that makes this crater different 2) Landmark for something else in the immediate vicinity 3) This crater is prettier than other craters so come look at it It's not inconsistency when there are different contexts.

Are you joking? Eos on its own is worth about 10 of ME1's planets content-wise, and that's just in the trial. My favorite is "There are only 38". I'm like... Jesus Christ I remember when we had 3 main planets in ME1 with 3 plot worlds with the rest being vast emptiness with the occasional enemy hub.

That's sweet... but doesn't change the fact that most of the planets we come across - after a very pretty flying animation that totally wont get old after 32 systems with ~6 POIs each - are just empty... at least, in the trilogy, every planet had at least something to find. "complains about realism and bad writing" "complains about every available planet not having something conveniently useful" Ah the consistency is astounding. ---- Welcome to space, where a lot of shit is empty a lot of the time.
