The GTX 1080 and 1080Ti focus cracks me up. The game runs on game consoles with VERY little power in comparison. That does not bother me but I would be shocked if it takes anything close to a 1080, for 1080p at least. Recommended is 1060 gtx I think Recommended specs are intentionally inflated. It's better to overestimate than to underestimate what the recommended settings should be for most players' system setups.

You're the one who brought up probability to begin with. The context you're talking about is based on past precedent but BW have moved in different directions before. The fact is that we fundamentally agree that it is likely that BW will include a squad m/m option but you believe it to be an almost certainty whereas I'm not so sure after the relative silence on the issue. It doesn't make sense to me why they wouldn't confirm it if it's happening. Just look at the current context. Given what we've seen and heard, it's simply very unlikely that Liam and Jaal are both straight, especially when you take into consideration who can be romanced. Apparently, all female characters on the Tempest are DTF. Cora/Peebee/Lexi/Suvi/Vetra. Vetra was confirmed. Suvi was hinted. Lexi is the least likely but possibly a light romance. Natalie Dormer has a certain appeal Having two males out of the running (Drack/Kallo) and another two males as straight (Liam/Jaal) is just too lopsided. Add to that the precedent on how romance has been done since DA2 and you'll see that it's simply very unlikely.

Drack is ancient though. He'll be less hotblooded than Wrex and probably less impulsive. Don't lump them as the same even if he's got some similarities in a few frames. That's stereotyping!

I still have faith that BW will come through but 1) your odds of 0.000001% is what is hilarious and 2) bad things happen to good people when they least expect it; even if that something is almost a statistical impossibility. Have you seen the guy sitting in the Oval Office? We're not talking about a random probability here. There's actual context. Even Drumpf winning had it.

K there's a 0.000001% probability that there's no m/m squad option, so you can stop wetting your pants. There's going to be at least 1 bisexual male on the Tempest, and it's not going to be Kallo. Nobody's wetting their pants so cool it. You don't know me but if you did, you'd know that I take a stand when I feel I need to. I don't think I will but the fact that's it's even a question at this point is surprising to me. If what I said doesn't apply to you then why are you responding? Point is it's "taking a stand" against something hilariously unlikely so yes it is needless worrying.

I never said anything about bi characters, but whatever. I don't understand. I didn't mention bisexuals at all when responding to you. All I'm saying is that there's no inconsistency. The characters are developed first sure but it's pretty obvious they ultimately go for some degree symmetry in their choices. They went for: 5 male characters to 5 female characters. (Ryder wildcard) 3 male squad to 3 female squad. (Ryder wildcard) 2 male crew to 2 female crew. 5 humans to 6 aliens on the ship (Including Ryder) I suspect that there will be: 2 straight characters: Liam/Cora 4 bisexual characters: Peebee/Lexi/Vetra/Jaal 2 gay characters: Gil/Suvi I may be completely wrong about who goes were but the allocations of 2/4/2 seems most likely as it is what they went for even in DAI (2/x/2). Now you ask me why Liam and Cora may be straight? Peebee and Lexi are Asari who are traditionally (and culturally) bisexual. Jaal and Vetra are aliens so being bisexual makes the most sense for everyone to get a fair share. THIS might be a wildcard though. Perhaps Vetra is straight and Cora is bisexual, or Liam is bisexual and Jaal is straight. Maybe Suvi is bisexual and Vetra is gay. I'm not really sure and I can't say for certain. In the end, it's irrelevant. At this point you have four humans. That leaves Liam/Cora/Gil/Suvi as the remaining options where AT BEST, Liam and Cora are bisexual. No matter how you distribute them, someone is going to get "screwed over". The most logical way about it is to just make those two human squad members bisexual or straight (or a mix). The way they have talked about them and given how they have progressively increased the role of the crew from ME3 to DAI, I honestly believe the crew members will have a very important role to play and will be prominent on the Tempest. They may not be shooting with you, but they'll be talking to you, and isn't that what ultimately matters?

This is not a partnership like Activision-Blizzard, but EA bought Bioware, Bioware simply is EA now. The word Bioware is nothing more than an EA trademark at this point, just like the studio that has made Andromeda which btw, has very little to do with what everyone knew by "The" Bioware (the studio in Edmonton), trying to paint Andromeda as anything else than a EA game is misleading, just like the "Bioware Austin" nonsense from SWTOR was. And just for the record, this is not a "EA is bad" rant, they do in fact publish most of my favourite games, even if they sometimes do it spectacularly wrong. Ah I think we're using different terms. When I think of EA I think of the suits on top. BioWare as I see it are the developers on-site. They may be one and the same as a company, but there's definitely a line between the developers and the financiers. The way Gaider described it (and I have seen in action) was that they develop ideas, propose them to the higher-ups, get approval, then develop the content with the final review done by EA In the meantime, they do their own thing. So the details about Gil etc are all BioWare. That Gil exists at all and in his final iteration is clearly approved by EA for purposes you and I mentioned.

Responding to bolded: That goes against their insistence that when they write a character they write it to be a good or "believable" character first and then add the romance if it makes sense for that character to romance the PC. You're implying they still have a preconception and or quota they fill when casting the leads and that that quota is they be straight and/or available to the PC in a default hetero way. Which goes against any notion that BioWare favors writing strong player-character relationships, because if they are excluding a plethora of ways you could interact with a character and develop a relationship (especially non romantic ones) than they are writing characters that fit boxes. Irrelevant and actually makes my point. The two human characters on the squad being gay is too niche, and alien ones even more so. It would be great. It would be cool, but it doesn't have good optics.
