Could someone explain to me how "things change" always translates to "we cut shit out" and never "we improved and added" with bioware as of late?
You had six fucking years and you gave us the barest bones MVP possible how is that excusable??

In response to being shown some of the many features used in marketing that were absent from the game, Ben Irving says: It takes some serious gall to label dishonest advertising as transparency. I call major bs but...you know....that is just me

uhm...it is a glorified way to go from point a to point b with NO OTHER ADVANTAGE besides protecting from harsh conditions (which would make no real gameplay difference). Bioware did flying well...so well in fact that the most widespread complaint is that you can't fly enough in Anthem. So again...why the fuck not? You don't like easier traversal? not if it wrecks game play which flight does. Once the novelty wears off people will realize it. people played this game for 100 + hours...enough to cover maybe two full MEA play throughs and they still say that, lo and behold pretty much the only two things people almost unanimously praise are the looks and the flight. Bioware can suck it and make better maps to fit the flying or just let us use it in existing maps because it is better than the fucking nomad and maybe make better encounters....is it too much to ask

its unwieldy and redundant, it is not even armed, just a way to move faster. I'd rather just fly and let bioware get better at their map designs, simple as that No one does flying right. It trivializes all content. The nomad drives smooth, sure it should have had some weapons but it maneuverable and fast. It’s only real flaws are the shift to climb a 2% grade hill thing. And while upgraded its beast at going up mako like inclines but at a entertaining pace, that should have been the default. Wasting resources on your ride isn’t good gameplay. uhm...it is a glorified way to go from point a to point b with NO OTHER ADVANTAGE besides protecting from harsh conditions (which would make no real gameplay difference). There are great mods on NexusMod to change her hair/general appearance, I couldn't see myself romancing vanilla Cora Same thing for PeeBee the racoon Hear hear when your fans can make such VAST improvements on your visual design....there is a freaking issue Also...why the fuck are we back to the "not wearing armor in combat zones" bs? (That screen just reminded me of that)

Ok ok Wait First off, I agree with a good part of what you said. Some people like the asari (if anything as an Harem of blue concubines) there is no need to be so hostile about them. (Yes Liara was my favorite romance....but Cora was it for me in Andromeda...yes I am not a fan of androgynoushair styles but I can deal, she was very feminine in other ways) Now, that said, Javelins/exosuits should have been already in Andromeda anyway. It makes sense. It is a HOSTILE galaxy we do not know. The Pathfinder should be VERY well armed. To hell with the "Kumbaya we come in peace and without weapons please bend us over here is some astroglide" tree hugging mentality. Add javelins to biotics and you have a unit that could give Spartans a run for their money (btw why the fuck doesn't mjolnir armor have proper fucking flying capabilities...I digress). Yes they should totally do that And fuck the fucking nomad....pointless piece of unarmed shit. No, I'd rather Mass Effect didn't have Javelin-like suits for combat, as it would undercut the basic class system they've developed for it. There's no point in having biotics when you can have mech gear and weapon loadouts to work in concert with one another instead. I think Andromeda did just fine with its combat system, not counting the part where you have access to every single ability for one character. you do understand the only thing he is asking for is the flying right? Not the abilities

yes I agree with the hair length thing but Cora was kinda hideous....she was very feminine in other ways. Loved her...but..that hair ugh Also, adding the functionality of the javelin does not mean keeping the design There are great mods on NexusMod to change her hair/general appearance, I couldn't see myself romancing vanilla Cora Same thing for PeeBee the racoon interesting... i'm on xbox 1 x tho Do you have pics of the applied mods?

Longer hair couldn't have changed that lol. I actually seen a mod of her with long hair, it did nothing for her. As for the Javelins in ME, I still think there is no need. Even if they have a new design, why have javelins? My vanguard would have no need for a mech suit, he'd be powerful enough. Simple N7 armor would do just fine. there is no such thing as "powerful enough"

People keep saying the Javelin suits is the best part of Anthem. So listen BioWare, ditch Anthem and bring them over to a single player Mass Effect project with a proper narrative that doesn’t just basically involve killing or not killing your pet Asari’s former friend and actually has some serious ramifications to it. Give us the real Krogan back, kill off the Asari and make us an Alliance commander as part of an experimental ‘Javelin’ company in the Terminus systems or something. Get your damn house in order. Also let us actually romance a woman with long hair for fuck sake. Most of us aren’t nu males we like a bit of femininininity god that word is hard to spell Oh no BW, please do not. ME is already ruined by the cringe induced one liners, there is no room for those hideous javelins. N7 armor is just fine thank you. Also femininity has nothing to do with hair length. yes I agree with the hair length thing but Cora was kinda hideous....she was very feminine in other ways. Loved her...but..that hair ugh Also, adding the functionality of the javelin does not mean keeping the design

A couple of pointers 1: I did say I was hoping for FO76 level of failure...well, we are almost there it seems 2: I dont want to argue but..if this game causes an improper shutdown that, if not treated properly, might cause permanent damage to the console...is it not fair to say that the game is the cause of this eventuality? 3: bioware can't handle bad pr. They just CAN'T. Sure they can pop put to try and reassure the fanbase about not being shut down by EA (see there is positivity there, your fans are concerned about the company they love) but when people attack them directly they turtle up. E.G. Casey Hudson is back in his panic room, the same one he was in after ME3

I'm sorry but Did I hear this correctly? The game BRICKS consoles??? As much as I love dunking on this game, this myth is getting out of hand. There is perhaps ONE report of a console being rendered unusable by the game crashing, and even that one has offered no actual proof. All other reports at this point is that the game sometimes shuts down the entire console (PS4, though may be happening on XBox as well) and the console gives you a warning when turning it back on. Worst, absolute worst case scenario, you have to do a Database Rebuild when you turn it back on (literally a one button press option), which fixes any database/library corruption and everything is good as new. It's an urban legend at this point, fed by people who don't know what "brick" means, as well as people hopping on a bandwagon. That said, a game crashing so hard that the entire console gives up and powers off is no bueno. It's actually a laughably horrendous error in QA. But let's be accurate about what's going on. still that is crazy...

but if course, even faced with the evidence, EA will rationalize as "but it was a financially sound move, we will recoup by aggressively increasing our aggressive monetization tactics" as opposed to "we should listen to our customers and creators more attentively and stop being jackasses" Well it's good for EA. All these studios continuously working on EA's in house engine? Sure it's a win for them over the long term. But Bioware's game have undoubtedly suffered from it, so I would say that developers and consumers are the biggest losers from that. oh I'm sure by now if Bioware made a ME4 (or MEA2) frostbite would be ready

It's always interesting to listen to someone who works constantly with Unity and has knowledge of game development engines talk about this kind of stuff (in this instance how Frostbite 3 hit EA's studios hard). but if course, even faced with the evidence, EA will rationalize as "but it was a financially sound move, we will recoup by aggressively increasing our aggressive monetization tactics" as opposed to "we should listen to our customers and creators more attentively and stop being jackasses"

Something interesting I heard during the aAngry Joe extended discussion was that they think the game has been cut up and restitched together, which explains random changed in quality and some storylines not making sense. upper echelon has the same comments on it Likely a "closer" team came in and put the hammer down
