"All said and done, Andromeda's Legacy for the Mass Effect Franchise is one of fans spewing hyperbole as fact, SJW garbage that isn't even there, and an overall good game being destroyed by players despite the fact there are much, much, much, much worse games out there" Okay I fixed the thread for you. Hainly Abrams and Biowares groveling apology for trying to represent an extreme minority of the populace... Its a checklist for social propaganda of trying to influence people that crap like that is normal in everyday life. It isn't. End of story. What?. I talked to the character in game and not once did I feel like someone was preaching an "Agenda" or "propaganda" to me. I asked her about her past and she told me since I asked and I was like "Oh good for you, know on to important things".

It's dependent on the game really.
Normal cycle is about a year though some games could get longer cycles depending on the popularity. Battlefield 4 got support for over 2 years and there are games that have received patches 5 years and even longer after release.

I like how they not once mentioned story, characters, or dialogue when it came to what mass effect is. Guess people are right when they say the franchise is catering more to multiplayer and streamlined combat gears of war style, I can't stick to this franchise if that's what their focus will be :/ It is nice seeing them delay the future IP half a year to a year though, at least shows they're wanting to make sure it's ready but I'd like to at least see what is is instead of being in the dark for another year or two. I like how hard people try to find anything, no matter how insignificant, so they continue to shit on the game and feel better about themselves.

I really suggest you just stop. I just left metacritic and it is exactly 50/50. 28 positive, 28 mixed and one negative. Even some of the mixed ones are positive. Also AAA or not a 7.5 or 75 is not bad. All of the "unscored" reviews below those are also negative. And nice job ignoring the 4.7 user scores. And now you're just playing with words. Most of the positive ones are also mixed - see how easy that is? See my comment above - 75% is horrid in gaming. That's No Mans Sky quality. There's 65+ PS4 games that have scored better than Andromeda this year alone. well we can justify ignoring a lot of the user reviews because many of them are 0's from people who quite clearly haven't played the game and are either hating on Bioware for promoting both a Pro-SJW agenda and an Anti-SJW agenda.

I cannot for the life of me understand the thought process behind staying so long on the forum of a game one hates so much. Well there is a very valid reason why they shut down the official forums....

Because if they didn't have sync kills people would be complaining about why these powerful enemies can't one shot someone when they are clearly capable of doing that.

I love the reactions of parts of this community Something gets released Fans: "Gah why didn't you wait, we hate you you ruined everything, take the time to get it right" Something is held to be work on Fans: "Gah, just release it already, stop making us wait, we hate you we want it two days ago"

Oh, they're taking a long hard dump on the success that paved their way with ME1 and ME2 that's for sure. Its literally worse than Vetra speaking in Latin and PeeBee saying her name stands for peanut butter. The Asari acronym would likely not even sound like P or B and the translation for Peanut Butter might be something like "Cano'fworms Ope'nup Onim" So having her name be PeeBee is even bad. Worse if its Peanut Butter. Well, at least PeeBee IS an unabashedly anti-asari, so she can be human-like as a testament to who she is. She also has that line on Eos about bringing her underwear on to the Tempest and it's distracting because it's like "Do Asari wear underwear? Actually, why wouldn't they?" but it pokes a hole in the conventions of the series becuase you wouldn't normally think about that kind of stuff because it humanizes the aliens too much. Every time I read one your posts, I just get this feeling in the back of my mind that you would be much happier doing something else yet you just can't seem to go do that something else.

Only game to have even more obsessive fans is Undertale..... they honestly scare me. No, nothing is worse than Undertale fans. Oh I know, I was actually verbally and almost physically harassed by some one time just because they overheard a conversation I was having and I stated I never played the game.

So will the Witcher 3 be the number one pick for best RPG? Given the slavish devotion to it, I'd say it'll take the top three spots at least. Only game to have even more obsessive fans is Undertale..... they honestly scare me.

Another thing people need to keep in mind is when Aria created the word and how much time had passed from the creation of the word till ME2/ME:A.
Aria is shown to hold a lot of power and sway in both the Terminus systems and council space so I wouldn't put it past the Asari to hear Aria use the word "Patriarch" and then start using it themselves as either to give the sense of status with Aria or to appease Aria.
Even in this day and age people are creating new words and they quickly become part of the modern vocabulary so the word Patriarch can be no different.
A new word can spread in the english language in well under a year so if Aria created the word more than 50 or even 100 or more years ago that is more than enough time for the word to become part of Asari culture so there is no real lore breaking here as Aria is just telling you she created a word and then later on we find out the word has become part of Asari culture.

Want to hear the story about this. Why was it scrapped? Because something like this could 'solve' many of the issues the game presents us with in terms of story flow and quest marking. If the map, Journal, and even Codex worked out of your scanner/omni-tool, not only would that add some verisimilitude, but could even be fun. Especially if it let you receive and answer emails while out exploring. Depends on if the game paused while using it. If it didn't pause during use you could end up getting attacked or lose the timer on your environmental shields while looking at the map which people would complain about saying it isn't fair for this to happen while looking at the map/inventory etc. If it did pause the game while looking at the omni tool the people who complain about lack of realism would get on them saying that this isn't a proper representation as you should be attacked and time should flow while using it. The going to another screen seems to be a decent compromise.

Shhhh, don't poke holes into troll logic, these people need to complain about something it is there reason for existing. Thats unfair. The OP is perfectly reasonable for questioning why -40C is some sort of deadly hazard. It makes no sense. I'm happy enough to ignore it for gameplay purposes but that doesn't make the point invalid. Well the comment was made as a joke (I know joking on the is sacrilege) But the thing in the end is "Yea, it is a video game". It isn't supposed to conform to the laws of reality, it it supposed to offer an escape from that and things like this are added to give a challenge to overcome (which you do by activating the vaults). What is the point of playing a game if all you are going to do is criticize and whine about gameplay elements that are there for the sake of gameplay or challenge? Plus if you do want to bring in reality we must also remember that people that live in one climate may have difficulty when entering a different climate, I live in Canada and have met many people from places like Florida and Cuba, etc that were dressed in full parkas and were legitimately freezing in a day that I would consider short sleeve weather.

I can't see them making any announcements about DLC yet as they would probably just get backlash from people accusing them of not working on patches.
