DA O is peak Bioware. Hate it or love it, It has all of the cliche that BioWare is known for, but also BioWare at its best. I just find this funny because 3-5 years ago Balder's Gate 2 was considered peak Bioware by many fans and DA:O was being run through shit puddle.

Im sick of Ryder as an antagonis too. Next time we should be fighting Kett instead of going over the evil AI mind control trope again. Its getting old BioWare. *Sips Ryncol* Hey Zipzap have you ever tied a Salarian to a ceiling fan? Drack mentioned it once and said it was funny.

Not sure why you quoted me to explain "Classic" RPG's and story, I was just stating that I liked DA2 over DA:O, that doesn't automatically mean I don't like "Classic" RPG's You compared DAO to DA2 although they are two different kinds, or better sub genres of RPGs... hence the explanation. I didn't try to invalidate your statement, or anything... Okay, too me a classic RPG is the style of Wizardry or the original Bard's Tale (just stating for reference)

The main problem here is that what game is better than the other is very subjective. I myself enjoyed Dragon Age 2 a lot more than Dragon Age: Origins. I felt it had much better characters. more natural banter between the characters. better combat. I liked that it was a more personal story rather than you must save the whole world like in most games. So ya very subjective. It's also a very different kind of RPG in general... personally, I always liked the non-specified player character RPGs of that era best. They had enough technical bells and whistles to immerse you in the world, but they didn't remove quite as much agency from you. DAO, KOTOR, Vampire Bloodlines, yea, even the Elder Scrolls games - although they did go a bit overboard with the freedom aspect, falling off on the story side. I don't exactly know when it happened, but at some point, non-open world, story driven games did leave the "silent protagonist" behind and opted for the inclusion of the player character into the story as, well, another defined character IN the story. That's why I said DAO was the last of those "classic", story driven RPGs BW did... since then, it's mostly been character driven - the main character, that is. Not sure why you quoted me to explain "Classic" RPG's and story, I was just stating that I liked DA2 over DA:O, that doesn't automatically mean I don't like "Classic" RPG's

I've adapted and am doing Headshots fairly well. Only issue is when a squadmate decides to run in front of the scope while aiming, feels like the game is accounting for the person in front when I pull the trigger and lessens the damage of the shot.

A lot of that "Free DLC" though can be easily argued as cut content being added again later, one of those DLC was New Game + which is standard on release with most other games and all the other stuff is extremely minor when compared to the free content they released for there previous games. I don't think it was ever the nature of the content that was a big deal. It was simply refreshing to have a major release actively supported via free DLC for an extended time. The armors and the like were all useless to me, but things like additional animations are always welcome. Honestly, given the reception and buggy state of MEA, it wouldn't hurt BioWare to release a small, free SP DLC, or two. It's not EA's way, so I'm not holding my breath. Still, the iconic rifle from the ad campaign (and a third of the in-game cutscenes) is missing. Should we have to pay for it via DLC, or should BioWare offer a free weapons pack? The Black Emporium was free in Inquisition. ME2 had quite a bit of free content for people who had a new copy of the game and that was then released for everyone later on. and in the Sims 4 (another EA game) they have released quite a lot of free content quite frequently which many assumed they would have to pay for. Hell EA has the "On The House" promo were they give out free games, DLC, and other extra content (They gave out all the DLC for Battlefield 4 and Hardline for free at one point) this seems more down to the "EA can do no right/ CDPR can do no wrong" attitude the Internet has.

TW3 released 16 free DLCs among them new quests, animations and looks for characters, they also made changes to the UI in the paid Expansion Packs, no one had issue with that lol. I wonder how people will twist this? The same way they twist everything that comes out of Bioware..... negatively.

Well during ME3 we had people demanding Kaiden be retconned all the way to ME1 to be Gay only. That move felt so forced and shoehorned. Kaidan should have been bi from the beginning of the trilogy. The fact that it was done only in the 3rd installment of the trilogy made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I'm finishing the Voeld story-arc at the moment (or at least I think I am) and seeing how Jaal's story has been fleshed out, BW has made him a perfect choice as a partner for Ryder. And even though I'm a straight female and I have Jaal romancing my Sara, I really feel for the gay gamers who have been deprived of a romance between Scott and Jaal because I'm sure it could be a very beautiful thing. If BW makes Jaal bi at some point, I'm definitely going to start a new Scott playthrough just to romance him - after Vetra though because she's one sexy female Turian and I simply can't resist her! Once you go Turian you never go back.

I checked over my Origin Achievements and they all appear to have registered properly.
Is it possible you lost Internet connection when the Achievement was supposed to come up?

So does this count as the daily Witcher thread? Well, TW3's sex scenes where not THAT great... not all of them, at least. They recycled to much of the animations... Shhhhhh. you are not supposed to say anything that makes The Witcher series look bad or even average, it is obviously the greatest thing in existence that no other game can or will ever touch and the fans will hunt you down and skin you alive for having any opinion that goes against this.
