I don't really mind it being on mobile. It's not like everybody doesn't have a cell phone nowadays. Not everyone has a smartphone. That's a pretty elitist mindset. I still have an LG cosmos from about 6 years ago. Could have bought a fancy smartphone or accepted a higher monthly fee but probably would not have the ps4.

My faith in humanity depends on them fixing the character selection screen. No one has ever said "Hmm I feel like playing an uncommon class this match".

The disciple doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as the VH. The disciple will have a hard time OHK'ing anything. And it's range isn't that good. We are forgetting something though. The new weapons. Between perusing initial datamined weapon stats and watching gameplay streams I haven't spotted anything that would be a reasonable comparison. We can always hope though.

The Vaykor Hek is beast. You won't find a shotgun in ME with that insane a combination of damage, accuracy and clip size. The closest comparison I can think of is the crusader, which is ultra rare. What a shame, I remember the disciple being somewhat accuracy oriented, but I could be wrong. The disciple doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as the VH. The disciple will have a hard time OHK'ing anything. And it's range isn't that good.

Sure. I'll shoot. I don't remember that well, but is there a sharpshooter like shotgun like the vaykor hek in warframe in the ME universe? If there is, I want it. The Vaykor Hek is beast. You won't find a shotgun in ME with that insane a combination of damage, accuracy and clip size. The closest comparison I can think of is the crusader, which is ultra rare. * edit: it fires slugs (accurate) and does a good deal of damage with a not insignificant clip size

Well i must say that the Asari Adept is truly amazing. At first i was a bit disapointed as i remember Anihilation field been a bit ... well bad if you didnt have a good team in ME3MP. This is no longer the case. Upgrading the power for range, [...] The description makes it seem like the radius evo only affects the DPS radius, not priming radius. Anyone know how this works?

While I find krogans very fun, I could never really adapt to that lack of maneuverability. I stayed with races that could dodge roll. But that might be partly because I loved dodge rolling in general. Now we have jetpacks so it might be better, but I felt kind of clumsy with them in MP. I gained a bit more control of them in SP but MP maps don't always make for good jetpack usage. Nothing beats a solid roll. Can we still roll? I didn't even think to check that. Rolling is gone. Everyone can fly now.

- Wew lad the Falcon seems really strong! The proximity fuse and explosion radius are gone, so you have to hit enemies directly, but you get some pretty nice damage in exchange. Definitely going to be using this one.
Really? Thats odd because in the weapon description it says its proxy detonated. Description is definitely wrong, the projectiles only explode on impact. So no explosion radius but there is still splash damage on contact, right? It appears so in the gameplay I've watched, at least. Very important to my falcon style.

Top 5 by single-clip DPS all snipers. Glad to see the raptor and valiant will still be effective. Early shotguns look a little weak, unless I'm reading it wrong. It's possible the damage per shit for shotguns is calculated for each released projectile per trigger pull. Meaning that the DPS could be per say, 61 damage x 7 projectiles. I considered this possibility. But in that case, some of the weaker shotguns seem like they would be a little too powerful (at least compared to ME3). Maybe if I could find the pellet counts (or bother to look them up) I would have a better idea of their efficacy. Ultimately not sold on shotguns yet. Especially since I don't see anything that mechanically resembles the high lord.

It wouldn'the be the first time that platforms have had different experiences (i.e. memory leak on ps3) but it may also have a lot to do with pc gamers being more spread out than a lot of Xbox players localized to North America. Bad host connections seems to be a large problem as of now. I wouldn't mind if the PS4 version ran the best. Kind of a make-up for the clownshow we got on ps3 where playing an entire faction required a tedious and complex preventative process.

From reading various complaints about the MP my unscientific inference is that the PC version is buggier than Xbox. Doesn't make a tremendous difference to me as a PS4 loyalist but I suppose the Xbox experience would more closely resemble my own. Any thoughts on this comparison? Anyone play both?

Asari Adept is nowhere near as good as the Fury. Although you have 2 detonators now, the cooldowns on them are SOOOO long that you can't just run around memeing enemies with biotic explosions every second and a half. Call me a renegade but I think the longer cooldowns are a good thing (at least in this case). She can play like a fury who has to do things other than run around with a charged acolyte shot in her hip pocket at all times. Single power spam was always kinda lame IMO.

hover over the one you need remove from the layout, noclickie though, then the option to unequip (was set to V in my case). yay and hooray for such transparent and user friendly UI was the entire UI team horribly murdered and replaced by bonobos If only. Then there would be a lot more indiscriminate sexual activity in the multiplayer. If hordes of bloodthirsty enemies who want to kill you doesn't make you randy, baby, I don't know what would.

Do the strike missions, even with mp. Yes, they reward for SP mostly, but they also reward mission points, which you can buy things like respecs with, and odds are the full game will have other things you can buy too. You can have up to 5 strike teams as well. (They level relatively quickly too. 3-4 missions succeeded had one suite at level 6.) I believe this is the only way to buy gear.

Not much complaining from my PS4 family. I wish to formally admit my degree of jelly: very.
I've been watching so much livestreaming the last 2 days. I had a super intense dream last night where I was avoiding all kinds of weird space monsters (even scarier shit than in the game) in my childhood home for two minutes until I could extract to my driveway. I even had a countdown displayed in front of my face despite not wearing a magic space helmet.

Time to settle this in a simple poll. Unintended exploit that should be removed from the game or worthwhile game feature you think should return? Unintended game that should be removed from the exploit and worthwhile game return

I'm not really up to date with the multiplayer news. Not sure what it means. No more OP Knight Enchanter in tight pants characters then? Right it looks like you might get bonuses like 10% Power Cooldown or 10% Shield Recharge Bonus, nothing really gamebreaking at all (until they increase prestige levels with each dlc expansion...) Holy jeebus I hadn't even thought of this possibility. That's definitely happening now since it's been spoken aloud (written aloud?). Uh oh.

Soft cover and right-hand advantage is probably what they mean. It's just another way to avoid taking damage. Most anti-fitness types will make the case than the best way to not die is to kill everything really fast so putting every possible point in offense is ideal. Again, I agree, to an extent. I maintain that fitness is/can be useful. Well hopefully you can teach me a bit too The other AHF guys taught me a lot so far too as you probably recall but we will get plenty more time in mea to practice it all in the times to come I hope I'd be happy to. Though in MEA I'll be learning right alongside you. Most of the longer-tenured folks in AHF had a much more comprehensive ME knowledge base than I did anyway.

I'll buy into it; even if it only happens once. The dollar value of the two packs will probably come close to making up the price difference in the deluxe edition. Though admittedly, my primary motivation is desperately needing a casual outfit to make me seem more relatable to my minions. I guess for MP-only folks the special editions won't be worth it. Understandable. I personally don't buy MP packs though, at least not with real cash so it's kind of a "that's nice" sort of thing for me. When it comes to casual outfits all the ones I've seen so far look good so I guess that downplayed this outfit for me. Still more extra goodies for people getting these editions is great, makes it look like you're actually getting something for that extra money you're putting down so no complaints here. I do have to wonder what they mean by "romance ambitions" though. Will it be some kinky outfit or something else? That makes sense but they do have an associated dollar value. We often in life pay for things that we could get for free eventually. You could buy meat in a store, or you could go hunt an animal in the wild and cook it over a fire pit. I don't plan to buy packs with real cash but I do appreciate their value.
