If you're in a position to die you're going to die whether you have maxed fitness, no fitness or anything in between. Avoiding taking damage is the best defense. That being said, a little bit of extra fitness made a difference in barely escaping trouble for me a few times. I didn't know that. I'm not so good at mp yet. I've only been playing since June I think and I haven't been playing that many hours. People always tell me that I need to take more cover, I think that's what I need to practice the most. Soft cover and right-hand advantage is probably what they mean. It's just another way to avoid taking damage. Most anti-fitness types will make the case than the best way to not die is to kill everything really fast so putting every possible point in offense is ideal. Again, I agree, to an extent. I maintain that fitness is/can be useful.

I always viewed fitness as bonus. If one of the other powers had a 6th evolution I couldn't or wouldn't take advantage of then I put 3 in fitness. If there were two powers like that I could go 4 into fitness. Never made a massive difference but probably more useful over time than an extra evolution I would never have used. Isn't fitness important? I mean for health sake? I always think that my characters dies so easily and I wonder if it has anything to do with less points in the fitness category. If you're in a position to die you're going to die whether you have maxed fitness, no fitness or anything in between. Avoiding taking damage is the best defense. That being said, a little bit of extra fitness made a difference in barely escaping trouble for me a few times.

I don't anticipate this having a dramatic impact on squad functionality. No more than taking out the pause function and making it impossible for us to order them to use their abilities Otherwise? Sure, it will not gimp the squad all that much (except you know: If we have better weapons and they are still stuck using their faves, even if they might be total crap at that point!) What's the point of having a squad if you can't you know equip them (armor, weapons, biotic-amps, omni-tools etc.) and give them orders in combat (isn't that the heart of you know small unit tactics, that one leaders gives orders to his squad?)? Next thing they'll try is removing the squad probably greetings LAX Ah, but did you see my cartoon? Better weapons on squadmates simply results in more damaging bullets being sprayed into the walls near the target. More to your point, I have to believe their weapons will significantly upgrade as they level. Full disclosure, I would rather be able to swap armor and weapons but I maintain that it won't be a big gameplay-altering factor. It does hurt the full customization RPG aspect, which is not great. As for auto power use, I hope the squad AI can at least recognize priming and detonate accordingly. It looked like Cora knows to charge when you launch a singularity according to gameplay vids. But they may yet allow hotkey squad commands for power usage, unless that notion's been quashed by Buy-O-Wear and I missed it.

I see what they're doing there! Get a Deluxe or Super Deluxe and you can get periodic free spontaneous stuff! ...And then this is the only time free spontaneous stuff ever happens. And some people will buy into it, especially when they read the part about "romance ambitions" I'll buy into it; even if it only happens once. The dollar value of the two packs will probably come close to making up the price difference in the deluxe edition. Though admittedly, my primary motivation is desperately needing a casual outfit to make me seem more relatable to my minions. I guess for MP-only folks the special editions won't be worth it.

Why don't take Fitness,if you can? Where else would you spend all those spare points? Which spare points? I always viewed fitness as bonus. If he is not being facetious then I am with SMR on this one. Group cloak sounds stupid. It would have to work in a way completely different from what I'm expecting for it to be remotely sane.

IIRC, in one of the SP gameplay vids they showed off trip mine. It was stated to function just like prox mine with the added function of a laser trip-wire. So multiple avenues for detonation. It was hard to visually distinguish the vector of the laser, though. That's my concern, I don't want it to be the Trip Mine from ME3MP Talon Merc, I want it to be Proxy Mine. Well it was used on one of those Rancor things that ate Ryder in the first big gameplay reveal. It didn't appear to do massive damage so I'm inclined to think it will more closely resemble prox mine. It is also limited by charge capacity which is apparently distinctly separate from grenade capacity. Not sure how that will translate to MP. For what it's worth, I'd be surprised if it resembled cains in any way other than its secondary detonation mechanism.

IMO recharge time for carnage is too long. I usually prefer Incinerate before Carnage. But then Carnage isn't needed if you already have a Reegar Anyone knows what Turbocharge does on the HS? Is it like Adrenaline Rush? I'm hoping it's just a namechange. The SI has "Trip Mine" which I'm hoping is just a Proxy Mine namechange. Incidentally, the "Charger" SMG is probably exactly the Tempest SMG, but since there is a ship named the Tempest, they had to rename the SMG because otherwise Bioware's SP fanbase would be confused. It's also why I don't expect the Lancer to be in the game, because we now have a Power called Lance, and that would confuse people. IIRC, in one of the SP gameplay vids they showed off trip mine. It was stated to function just like prox mine with the added function of a laser trip-wire. So multiple avenues for detonation. It was hard to visually distinguish the vector of the laser, though.

I just need my Juggernaut Shield. When my i finally unlock my upgraded Geth Juggernaut (Geth Prime in ME: A) I need that to accent the real master race of the Mass Effect universe. He may not be a geth infiltrator, but he is still top of the food chain especially with the improvements to the prime. I agree with doing away with geth scanner. We don't need or want any wannabes. Grenade V needs to stay. There must be that great Baterian with ballistic blades and inferno grenades for those that play lesser races. lesser races? lesser races? LESSER RACES? ... RAAAAAAAAAAGE! ANGER! DISPLEASURE! ANIMOSITY! INDIGNATION! BITTERNESS! RESENTMENT!

I wonder if lance is the new warp power. They nerfed the HA with giving him pull instead of warp. I was happier with the old build, but I could be wrong if shockwave isn't bugged this time. Also Kroguard is the tankier Novaguard this time? Could work, since Nova replaced Carnage. I mean, Carnage wasn't really useful on him. At first I was not pleased with seeing singularity and pull on the same character but it may have some utility for diverse crowd control options and priming. I so so so so so so much wish the HA had throw instead of shockwave, though. I always found shockwave to be exponentially less reliable for detonating than throw. On a related note, the pull-throw combo on the Kineticist actually has me pretty excited. Those two will have fast cooldowns that will partially overlap after a bang-bang combo (independent cooldowns also in MP, right?). Even if Lance ends up being a disappointment I can spec out of it and soak up some extra shields. I'm not as allergic to fitness as many BNSers. If Lance is useful than that's a nice bonus for me.

Or we could keep all the OP gear and make it consumable. Or perhaps with a finite number of uses before being re-charged at the cost of credits (like repairing breakable weapons in other games). Most of the non-OP gear was limited in utility unless their bonuses were modified by a multiplier, like cloak. One I did like was the stronghold package, mostly on my geth characters to better maintain my shield gate.

Missile glitching was the symptom. The cause was left untreated. Maybe Buy-O-Wear will diagnose and treat that cause. Or maybe they'll throw opioids at it.

Didn't they confirm that it isn't in Andromeda MP or SP? I don't care for the Andromeda boards - those SP and DAI folks are a troublesome bunch, but I do care about Claymore news. They said there's a spiritual successor - I have my doubts. There should be, there's a goddamn Krogan squadmate! Ima be pissed if there isn't one. Maybe the two-shot Claymore Bakara whips out on Sur'Kesh. Or two Claymores glued together. Or a shotgun that shoots full-size Claymores. Or a Krogan who has surgically replaced his nether regions with a Claymore and wields another with each arm.

I'll admit I'm not sure how I feel about the Gilmore signing, morally. Seems, at least partially, like a big time leverage play over Butler. Maybe it will pay off and they keep both with Butler on a manageable deal. I guess it's because Butler is only like 5'10". Gilmore is 6'1" I think. Thank analytics for that issue. I don't think High's status is relevant. Not that he is easily replaceable but it's not pertinent to managing the defensive backfield. Also I think they took a respectful approach with High, letting him feel around the market but while maintaining close contact. Nevertheless, the Pats are just as cut-throat (if not moreso) than any other NFL organization. Nothing they do shocks me. I love Butler (I even own a t-shirt that says "the butler did it. with the pick. in the endzone") but I am mentally prepared to move on from him. I know it's seem Malcolm departure is inevitable at this point. I might not like all the moves the Pats front office do. They are mostly proven right in their decisions. As the old saying goes ... Maybe it's not inevitable. We got Cooks and he's still here. If someone was going to give him an offer sheet I have to believe it would have been done by now. Regardless, it looks like we're loading up for a blowout farewell tour for TB12.

I appreciate the time commitment this represents, OP. Pretty cool of you to undertake this. I am a big fan of the Kalence builder so if the UI operates similarly smoothly I'll be happy.
If you decide to go even deeper there was always one thing I wished I had in Kalence. A DPS value adjacent to the raw damage per bullet would be amazing. I did a lot of DPS maths back in the day. If not that then expanded weapon stats (namely ROF but also stability, accuracy, etc) so that I could perform the calculation quicker than flipping through multiple spreadsheets.
Irrespective of content, I will be pleased to have anything like your proposed builder in the early going.

From the very little we have seen so far, MEAMP maps seem to have more open spaces as well as more verticality in terms of mobility. Given those two factors, I believe melee is going to be more situational than in ME3MP. I presume non-Biotic Charge full-melee builds don't look very promising, at least from what we have seen thus far. If space jumping is even going to be a big part of MP then I believe it would be an advantage for melee builds. Can you imagine an enraged Krogan plunging to the ground in your vicinity? That's a pants-peeing level of terror. And "Monster" banner users will always find ways to close horizontal gaps. "Oh there's a brute blocking an appetizing cluster of mooks. I think I'll just casually leap over him and murderface them all."

True but if the alternative is getting Brandin Cooks from NO then you have to think. That guy would make a big difference for Brady whose successes or shortcomings determine the Patriots' season outcomes. Imagine Brady playing out the last few years of his career with a top trio of Cooks, Gronk and Malcolm Mitchell all in their primes. If Gilmore turns out to be a stud (like they seem to think based on his contract) then a second CB can be scheme-assisted to competence. Don't get me wrong having Cooks would be nice but we don't need him to win another Superbowl. We really need try to keep Butler now that Logan is gone, and Dont'a Hightower could possibly leave. It's kind of messed up that the pats are willing to give big bucks out, to other guys but not their own. Either way I believe Bill will make the right decision. I'll admit I'm not sure how I feel about the Gilmore signing, morally. Seems, at least partially, like a big time leverage play over Butler. I hope the Patriots don't trade Butler. Having him and Stephon Gilmore would give offensive coordinators nightmares, every time they see us on the schedule. There should be a stark difference between completing and maxing a manifest. It should not take an excessive amount of time to unlock every weapon. That would drive away casual players. However, grinding for max rank ultra-rares seems appropriate. If you care enough to chase maxed-stat weapons then you should be able to accept the long game. It's the hidden, but reasonable, cost of free multiplayer access.
In comparison to ME3MP, I'd prefer a faster path to having a full arsenal and an equivalent time to max them all out.

S is a consonant, but the the pronunciation of the letter S starts with a vowel sound. I therefore think it is a social justice warrior but an SJW. Will there be grammar-Nazi narratives in Andromeda? Do not pour your linguist agenda down my throat. I put the n in parentheses because I say each individual letter in the abbreviation but not everyone else does. I always imagined it was pronounced as SEJ-wah but who knows since it is never spoken aloud, only typed by confused middle-class time travellers from the 1950's who need to clearly label their nemeses.

Rage was godlike if you played the Warlord. It was the difference in being impossible to kill or dying if you decided to go up against the entire spawn at one time. This is a good point, I don;t play the warlord often, I like sentinel or solider melee build but I can see if being very good for the warlord. The KroSent rage build was blissful. Get Rage active, hold the sprint button and left stick up the entire match. Mash melee button 1000 times. Use right stick to turn left, nascar-style, while doing laps around the map. Once mooks gone, draw heavies onto a ramp and repeat. The Rage visual overlay never bothered me that much. Perhaps because my kro-style was so chaotic I was always within a few feet of someone trying to kill me. I would not say I was elite with kro-play.
