Same problem for me bough the Origin Pass and then pre ordered the game so i have no option to see it, and the game says preloaded available on 17th of March. Im in pain since it will take me 4 to 5 days of downloading. And yeah my Internet is that bad 200kbps download speed baby. The trial disappeared for a lot of users. Firstly try exiting origin completely then reloading it. If it is still not back in your library double check to see you have added it. Open Origin In menu on the left drop down to origin access scroll across go to play first trials go to andromeda and add.

So I just bought ME:A today through Origin Access, but it's giving me a pre-load date of 3/17. How or what do I need to do to go about getting that changed to today or tomorrow? To get it later tonight you need to add the trial to your game library. Go into origin, then go to origin access>play first trials and add andromeda. To unlock the game early (20th 3pm gmt) follow the advise in the andromeda on the 21st for everyone vpn thread bsn.boards.net/thread/3808/andromeda-on-21st-vpnAccording to origin the trial unlocks for download and playing at 9:30 GMT today for the UK at least.

I only voted no because i assume this was meant for in the future so an expansion/sequel? Therefore i would rather have a new alien species as a squad member. I love how they have taken milkyway races to andromeda but i want my squad to incorporate as many new species as possible rather than just constantly rehashing the old milky way ones. This btw is no criticism of andromeda as its first game in new galaxy so first contact, i was extremely happy to see Jaal added as a squaddie, i wasn't expecting any new races as squad mates for the first game. If the vote was if we could go back in time and pick our squad mates for this game then ye i'd of loved to have a salarian in my team!

Yeah, I agree with OP, seriously, sometimes BioWare don't know what they're saying. Look at this dialogue. "Liara, perhaps you're working with the wrong people." "I am not my mother!". It's like, yes, you're not, Liara! It's as if BioWare does not understand that she isn't Benezia almost like they mistook her when they wrote that. Benezia looks completely different and Liara obviously isn't her. I don't understand, it's so hard to understand. Your taking that way to literally. By stating she is not her mother she is referring to personalty not actually physically being identical to her mother. It's common in western culture to believe that children grow up to be similar in character to their parents (the apple does not fall far from the tree). Liara's statement here is that she is nothing like her mother and is her own person (ethically, morally, personality etc)

I understand that its annoying it first came out later for some regions, but why people wanna risk (its only a small risk) getting banned to use it I don't understand. Besides for us adults that actually have a full time job, family, etc. we wont have time to play it much until the weekend anyway and even then we might not play much. I can wait the two days. answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Information/Using-VPN-to-Play-Sooner/m-p/5920320/highlight/true#M1211There's the link stating they allow VPN For the record some of us adults happen to work weekends and are off through the week.

codex specifies hardsuits have environmental controls that prevent you from cooking in intense heat or freeze to death (to a point). Same for radiation shielding....again to a point Bioware has broken their lore many times because of the rule of cool....don't even get me started on thermal clips Even Today astronauts spacewalk suits protect astronauts from cooking in intense heat or freeze to death and from most part of radiation because it have environmental control in self MEA suits are same but more modern because it give also some level of protection from weapons
scouserant23 read about it en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_suit
Space suit primary requirements/role:A space suit must perform several functions to allow its occupant to work safely and comfortably, inside or outside a spacecraft. It must provide: A stable internal pressure. This can be less than earth's atmosphere, as there is usually no need for the space suit to carry nitrogen (which comprises about 78% of earth's atmosphere and is not used by the body). Lower pressure allows for greater mobility, but requires the suit occupant to breathe pure oxygen for a time before going into this lower pressure, to avoid decompression sickness. Mobility. Movement is typically opposed by the pressure of the suit; mobility is achieved by careful joint design. See the Theories of space suit design section. Supply of breathable oxygen and elimination of carbon dioxide; these gases are exchanged with the spacecraft or a Portable Life Support System (PLSS) Temperature regulation. Unlike on Earth, where heat can be transferred by convection to the atmosphere, in space, heat can be lost only by thermal radiation or by conduction to objects in physical contact with the exterior of the suit. Since the temperature on the outside of the suit varies greatly between sunlight and shadow, the suit is heavily insulated, and air temperature is maintained at a comfortable level. A communication system, with external electrical connection to the spacecraft or PLSS Means of collecting and containing solid and liquid bodily waste (such as a Maximum Absorbency Garment) Secondary requirements/role:
Advanced suits better regulate the astronaut's temperature with a Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG) in contact with the astronaut's skin, from which the heat is dumped into space through an external radiator in the PLSS. Additional requirements for EVA include: Shielding against ultraviolet radiation Limited shielding against particle radiation Means to maneuver, dock, release, and/or tether onto a spacecraft Protection against small micrometeoroids, some traveling at up to 27,000 kilometers per hour, provided by a puncture-resistant Thermal Micrometeoroid Garment, which is the outermost layer of the suit. Experience has shown the greatest chance of exposure occurs near the gravitational field of a moon or planet, so these were first employed on the Apollo lunar EVA suits (see United States suit models below). As part of astronautical environment control (i.e., protecting astronauts from extremes of temperature, radiation, etc.), a space suit is essential for extravehicular activity. The Apollo/Skylab A7L suit included eleven layers in all: an inner liner, a LCVG, a pressure bladder, a restraint layer, another liner, and a Thermal Micrometeoroid Garment consisting of five aluminized insulation layers and an external layer of white Ortho-Fabric. This space suit is capable of protecting the astronaut from temperatures ranging from −156 °C (−249 °F) to 121 °C (250 °F). During exploration of the Moon or Mars, there will be the potential for lunar/Martian dust to be retained on the space suit. When the space suit is removed on return to the spacecraft, there will be the potential for the dust to contaminate surfaces and increase the risks of inhalation and skin exposure. Astronautical hygienists are testing materials with reduced dust retention times and the potential to control the dust exposure risks during planetary exploration. Novel ingress/egress approaches, such as suitports, are being explored as well. In NASA space suits, communications are provided via a cap worn over the head, which includes earphones and a microphone. Due to the coloration of the version used for Apollo and Skylab, which resembled the coloration of the comic strip character Snoopy, these caps became known as "Snoopy caps." I know we have shielding on our current space suits but different scientists around the world claim different things. For example Russia claimed we can not leave the earths atmosphere completely due to inefficient shielding from radiation (the ISS is actually still protected by the earths field) but then thats a different topic. Anywho after watching some twitch streams today, it does appear that when on habbitat 7 due to the atmosphere and radiation the characters wear extra gear including the snoopy cap but they dont on the planet EOS because im guessing it is breathabe though i never saw that mentioned but it seems it is a more radiation problem than atmospheric, also the armour does not protect you from it but shielding in certain areas will (the game even states that there are generators shielding you from radiation and even show the shields maximum field), those drop in pods also provide a basic small shielded area. Seems we dont need our companions in full sealed suits after all or when we do they actually will be in full sealed suits (Habbitat 7). Immersion purists have nothing to fear on that part.

Once armour cracks/damage after a few shots then what? This argument lacks credibility at least shields can regenerate/recharge armour would be off back home to fix it, also when you "fix" armour it gets structurally weaker. So really speaking your having to replace it constantly if that is all you have to protect you in the galaxy/hostile worlds. Shields do protect from radiation otherwise any spacecraft/shuttle would have a crew of 0 due to space radiation. Shielding is one of the biggest obstacles we face today for inter-solar travel. They also do protect from energy weapons in the ME universe at least (when you meet ashely you see her shields take damage from energy weapons). I know jenkins dies outright but they also explain that as it ripping right through them similar to how something could rip through your armour. And according to Andromeda they also protect you from the elements hence the safe zones. Granted a personal shield is not as effective and to be fair they reflect this in game by stating the mako will protect you longer, and forward stations are shielded enough to protect you outright. Uhm...have you read the lore? It takes a while for shields to come back up...quite a while actually. Read the codex...it specifically states that shields work only against projectiles...and nothing else masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/ShieldsThe audio old is STRAIGHT from the game Or please do find me a quote from the lore that disproves it Bioware broke their own lore many times because of "the rule of cool" I stand corrected, if that is their codex for shielding then it is a fair point. How they are going to explain forward stations protecting you i do not know, the simplest way would of been to claim shielding. Im not sure now, officially in the games your shields were damaged (protected you) from heat radiation, according to this codex that should not have happened. I still would pick a shield that takes time to recharge over wearing armour which will not recharge but provides similar protection due to the freedom of movement if focusing on biotics/ranged. I fully stand by my criticism of armour in a futuristic setting. When it comes to radiation (toxins) the half mask should be more than enough to filter your breathing which can be enabled in the options to be always on. In regards to high intensity sunlight surely armour would lead you to being cooked faster. If were talking radioactive radiation (ive not looked into Andromedas worlds or what radiation they possess) then yes i agree squad mates should have a sealed suit aesthetic but unless the lore states that armour is lined with anti radiation and is more than a kevlar kind of armour really speaking you should be given a 3rd aesthetic where your characters have no armour but rather something akin to a bio suit (thinking Quarian).

Someone posted it in another thread but i can't find it now, but EA have officially answered his question on their support question thing stating they full allow anyone using the VPN to unlock it early, they wont however provide technical support for multiplayer until its official release. As others have been saying, because of physical copies. It takes them awhile to ship everything to all the stores in Europe, so in order to not hurt the sales of retailers who are typically quite cozy with game publishers, everything is released at the same time--physical and digital copies. One day, when physical copies stop being a thing, we shall not have to worry about this anymore. Part of why I stopped buying that way. Should things indeed change, people who like physical copies will start whining about why do they have to be punished just for not buying the digital version. To which I will say "deal with it." But for now, my European friends must resort to waiting a few days, or doing something kinda-shady that will probably do them no harm but technically could if somebody decided to crack down. Even then the rule is ridiculous. Alot of games have world wide releases. Why exactly are stores making exceptions for games like The Witcher 3 etc? They don't make an exception, it probably means the game gets an unofficial delay while they ship the game globally waiting for every country to have the copies before then releasing the game. The downside to this is it means a lot of stores will have the game even a week before it releases which means your running the risk of some copies going missing and then being streamed. EDIT: Double post

I always thought armour was a secondary thought with shields being the main protection? So those fighting up close wear heavier armour (probably to shield them from grenades, melee etc). Once the shield falls then what? Shields also do not protect from radiations, the elements or direct energy weapons I thought Bioware kinda understood this after ME2 and 3 At least in ME3 every companion (after the updates) had full SENSIBLE armor Once armour cracks/damage after a few shots then what? This argument lacks credibility at least shields can regenerate/recharge armour would be off back home to fix it, also when you "fix" armour it gets structurally weaker. BW also makes SW games, so the crowd caught on pretty fast probably because of that. What scene was this? During liams loyalty mission. The reference is when han solo pretends to be empire over the intercom when breaking the princes out of the prison.

In the PC Gamer article it was stated that Titanfall officials said "as long as they're playing on legitimately purchased copies", people wouldn't be banned, even in Multiplayer. I can only imagine BioWare officials to handle this in a similar manner, but if people want to be on the safe side, they could put off playing MP mode for a few days. I can't see there being any issues with unlocking the SP campaign. Thank you. This is my biggest concern on trying to change VPN, because I don't want to get banned. I've done it with a lot of games both on steam/origin including Dragon age and never heard of anyone being banned for using this method to play it early. Most likely because the game has officially released in some point of the world so your not accessing it before everyone else. The Titanfall developers even said it was totally fine with them and they like ME are governed by EA so your pretty safe. Using this method to purchase a game in a cheaper region is extremely likely if not a certainty to get your account banned and possibly legal action, plus if enough people did it would likely mean that developers would ensure VPN's would stop working which would ruin it for everyone who just wants to play the game they bought legally in their own region from playing it at the same time as others worldwide. TBH once physical copies of a game go totally obsolete this wont be a problem as all games will likely release with a global release time instead of this old fashioned regional one. I just wish publishers/developers would communicate with gamers on this issue to see if we as gamers could come to an agreement that for those who want a physical copy of a game are happy to accept that for those who buy digitally they should be able to play the game as soon as it goes gold instead of waiting for production of physical copies to be completed and then distributed. I understand some like physical assets vs digital but it shouldn't mean punishing digital customers. One way i think it could be solved is to charge extra for physical copies (for example an extra £5-10 in the uk) but they also get a digital code emailed to them therefore everyone can play at the same time and the physical copy customers also get something to keep shortly after the games release win/win

- What would be the best country for early release? South Korea? Thailand? - Can I "go back to Europe" once the game has been activated? Korea is the best as far as I'm aware, though i think a lot of Asian countries are unlocking at the same time midnight 21st hong kong time i believe. It works out releasing on the 21st at 00:00 local time in Asia is the same as the 20th 4pm GMT Yes you can go back to your normal none VPN internet once the game has released in your country. As a heads up even though I'm not 100% but i've always avoided multiplayer when playing early via VPN, because as far as i know you must remain using the VPN which means high latency/ping, just until the game comes out in your local area and you can then disable the VPN and play multiplayer to your hearts content.

Just thought I'd point out encase you missed it earlier in the thread or haven't used a VPN before. Do Not download the game while using the VPN on the 17th (it'll take weeks if it even lets you complete the download) Only activate the VPN when wanting to play the game before it releases in your region, make sure origin is closed before you do or close it down and restart it if you forget, and after disable it when not playing (if you want to stream videos, such as youtube or play other games online or whatever) Also if you are new to VPNs, closing the VPN software does not disable the VPN. Make sure to disable it in the application before closing it down, nothing bad will happen if you don't, just you wont be surfing the internet at full speed is all. Happy gaming OP nicely enough linked a good VPN software with a guide so that will help.

The benefits depend on where you are. I live in the UK, so I can unlock it at 3pm on the 20th if I connect to a Korean network, and at 4am on the 21st if I connect to a US server (13 hours difference). In terms of actually being to play the game after work, the Korean server is probably better for that. Also, just generally now, if you do unlock the game early, you have to stay connected to that VPN while you're playing it (I dunno if putting Origin offline make much difference, there may still be some communication) until the game release date and time in your location. So. If I download the game the 17 and then change my VPN to Korean everything is fine as long as I dont change it? And if I decide to change the VPN the 24th because the game is officially launched in every single region of the world, is that okay or? I want to do this just right lol Yep, that's correct.

I thought about how I will handle the EA Access - most will be in CC I think. I thought I might wait till the 19th and play 5 hours then, then 5 hours on the 20th - then it unlocks on the 21st (9 pm for me.) I don't get it till the 23rd. Was thinking of saving it till the 21st so I get to play at the same time as the Americans but I doubt I'll be able to hold off. Use a VPN set it to Korea and you get it on the 20th if on a PC?

I went no because shepard was an elite soldier. Ryder shouldn't be that bad ass even by endgame.
