Blue is not an M&M colour. Yes it is. Blue is the best color! And the good M&Ms are the yellow bag of Peanut M&Ms, and if you can find them Dark Chocolate Peanut M&Ms in the black bag. The caramel ones are my favorite. Similar to, but not the same as. ...... The milk choc. ones might as well be Smarties.🤢 Um... My googling tells me that chocolate Smarties are similar to M&Ms. Ketchup chips sound disgusting Our Kinder eggs are a two-part egg-shaped package with a cheap crappy toy in one half, and a chocolatey cream in the other half that you can eat with the included spoon. They're...fine. I wish they sold them without the toy, tbh. NO KINDER TOY!?!?!?!?!??! I just want the creamy goodness. The toy is a waste of dead dinosaur juice.

I know I made the joke about Gwent being the main focus of TW3 in the OP, but it was one that I just couldn't get in to. I know this qualifies as an 'Unpopular Opinion', but I just never saw the appeal. Geralt has no time for this I never understood the appeal of Gwent, either. I tried to like it, but every time I tried to play, I found it so boring. ---- For another potentially unpopular opinion, I enjoyed the Towers of Hanoi minigame in ME1. I hated the hacking one, though. I don't know why console players got a memory game/QTE version, and PC players had to put up with this BS: GrossI have a mod that allows you to bypass those with 0 omnigel. Good riddance, circular Frogger. I don't mind the ME2 versions, though. Sometimes I use an insta-win mod for those, and other times I go ahead and play them. As for the first minigames I remember...probably some in Oregon Trail? I remember the original green screen version had a hunting minigame, then Oregon Trail II had hunting, fishing, and that horrendous river rafting one that I attempted only once before making sure I always had enough money to pay the tolls to bypass it. Either Oregon Trail II or Amazon Trail had a glitch in the fishing game where you could click outside the game window, and all the fish would freeze in place so you could just click on one for a guaranteed catch.

Oh, come on. Surely you understand the practical differences between pausing in MET and DA, vs. pausing in MEA. Bingo. maybe. But your original complaint was you couldn't pause 'at all' which is patently false. And it could still be used in much the same way, to pause, take a breath, assess the situation. By that logic, though, pretty much any game lets you pause during combat by just pressing "escape" to access a menu. That's not at all like MET or DA (which was the important context in my original post), for the reasons already explained to you.

If Dreadwolf's combat is like MET's, with at least the ability to pause and fire off my companions' abilities, then I could live with it (even though I would very much prefer a return to the old way of being able to control companions directly and being able to access ALL my learned abilities at any time). But I really, really hope we don't end up with MEA-style combat, with no pausing at all, companion control limited to choosing a target, and severe restrictions on how many abilities are accessible at any given moment. No thank you. you could pause anytime you wanted during MEAs combat. Oh, come on. Surely you understand the practical differences between pausing in MET and DA, vs. pausing in MEA. you could pause anytime you wanted during MEAs combat. There's a difference between a ) being able to pause while still looking around the field of battle and being able to select all your actions and all the actions of your party members during that pause and b ) just bringng up a menu which blocks the field and makes you unable to select combat actions. Bingo.

I love ME too so yes I can live without it, but it would make DA a little less special. I replayed DAI again not long ago and am currently redoing all my old characters in DAO and DA2 but am just about to take a break having played TW3 again, HZD again and now the DA stuff I need to play a shooter again. One day I hope to be at the point where I've forgotten enough of DA to do a fresh run from the beginning I'm replaying DAI now, and I have run into several side quests that I don't remember at all, especially in the higher level areas. It's fresh enough for me, I think

I like Syndicate better. Syndicate is more like Unity, whereas Valhalla is more like Odyssey. Syndicate is sort of...like Ubisoft tried to fix the mistakes they made with Unity, but went too far in the other direction and stripped too many elements out of the game that had been staples of the series until that point. But if Unity is the only older AC game you have played, you might not even notice too much. Syndicate was my first, so I'm partial to it. One of my personal favorites is Syndicate and I played the majority of AC games at release. It did have some quirks to it, but I found using Evie whenever I had the chance it felt fairly close to most prior AC games, I found Jacob and his playstyle would have fit better with the last three games where Evie was more like the prior games. I can see that, definitely. I do miss getting to have a prologue showing their childhood or training like we did with the earlier assassins. That is obviously something I didn't realize on my first playthrough, but it stuck out at me once I'd gone back and played the older games.

I'll just piggyback of this thread to talk about my AC Unity experience. I started with Odyssey, t'was alright, then Origin. God I loved that game, being Bayak was awesome. It made me realise how much more I prefer a solid fleshed out character who's dialogue you can't influence, over Kassandra and the player dialogue and romance options. Anyway I seriously disliked Unity at first, it took a while but it was the NotreDame mission where the game really started. It's very narrow and tutorially up until that point. I loved Paris, it was by far the most engaging setting so far. The people, the grime, the variety of missions, the helix missions in future Paris, I loved all of it. I got obsessed with Enigmas, learnt a ton about the Revolution, actually read the database entries which is unlike me, and had a grand time. My gripes are that I never cared about the characters, and some of the QOL elements were so badly done. I'm one of the unfortunates who was forced into the DLC early in the game as I clicked the wrong fast travel button, and had to do a level 5 mission at level 2 just to exit the damn thing and get back to Paris. Very poor implementation. So....Syndicate or Valhalla next? I like Syndicate better. Syndicate is more like Unity, whereas Valhalla is more like Odyssey. Syndicate is sort of...like Ubisoft tried to fix the mistakes they made with Unity, but went too far in the other direction and stripped too many elements out of the game that had been staples of the series until that point. But if Unity is the only older AC game you have played, you might not even notice too much. Syndicate was my first, so I'm partial to it.
