Debates are okay, as long as they don't derail. Too frequently, that's what happens here, and the original topic gets buried and lost. I think it's better to ignore asshats trying to piss on a thread that they don't like. What could be more satisfying than answering their wails with utter silence from everyone?

I just feel a lot of the commentary of 'this game sucks' is that...'this game sucks' and...nothing. Whereas I am trying to go indepth into the reasons I think this game actually works, and is quite awesome in some regards.

Yeah, this was a calculated decision. I know sofajockey made threads for "good" and "bad" (loose terminology given that opinions don't really categorize that way) views of MEA, but people really never stuck to it.
