At this point I'm just happy Jaal wasn't Day 1 DLC. But DLC should be the last thing they're working on. They need to fix the base game first. I think I read somewhere that the patch was going to be released in three phases. All three phases should be out before any DLC is released, or even announced. Their plan is to get 2 months of patches and other than that, they haven't elaborated on their road plan. So far one patch in the span of a month and a half doesn't give confidence they'll follow through with that two month period, so I'd say they'll have to extend on that two months into 3-4 months. ill prolly be back in half a year to see what's changed, I'm looking forward to DA4 and the new ip now

I was wondering this today. You have to think they want to push out at least some paid DLC for this game. But they have to fix the base game before people will bother buying anything. And at the rate they are doing it now we are not going to get anything for a long time. Their window for getting DLC out when anyone will care is quickly closing. Bug fixing and making DLC require different skillsets, unless the bug in question is a dialogue scripting bug or some such. My impression is that Andromeda's bugs are mostly in other areas. OTOH, gamers are idiots, so releasing DLC with extant bugs in the main game will probably piss some of us off.

I'm a fanboy.... However, i would think they would release one large DLC with several patches included. Maybe it's my efficient mind working? You know, so when the casual player comes back for the DLC they see a bigger difference. No?

I am sure we will get DLC soonish. Maybe around summer sometime. It's very clear they intend to do quarian ark dlc. I just think after the day one from ashes nightmare that they have an egg timer on when they will say anything because too soon and it looks like it should have been in the game. I am sure they probably already have much of it done and it actually could have been in the game, but cash cows ain't cash cows unless you milk them.

Maybe reread your post. You pointed out that barely anything was fixed in the patch I refuted it. You are also using that flawed logic to claim they will just give up on the game. I refuted that as well. Fine, whatever. I've changed my mind, BW has released the greatest series of patches ever in the fastest manner ever of all time despite the fact the game was already the most perfect game of all time at launch. Happy? Seriously the level of total fanboying on this forum the last couple of days has just strained my patience to the point of not even caring anymore... I never said it was perfect ever. It has issues but is far from the disaster a lot of you claim.

DAI was kind of a clusterfuck in the forums when it was released. The hate thread was massive but admittedly had a handful of people thriving in it with more people stopping by to post their hate before moving on. I thought it kind of sucked. Could not even make two solid runs. And I remember the reviews beingvery positive so I was utterly confounded. I think a lot of people moved on after it pretty fast whether they liked it or not. I don't think it had a huge replay value. I thought MEA didn't but I've actually come to like it more with time. Once you get past the things you don't like if there is stuff you do like you can play for that or at least I can anyway. For all the faults of this game, I still really like it. Then again I was playing a boring as hell MMO (ESO) for the last year so pretty much anything feels fun for me compared to that. The only thing that game had going for it is genuinely beautiful maps for the most part. I remember that. Admittedly, I was actually playing the game as I was reading all of that and finding amusement here and there while loving it all the while. The same has been happening with MEA. I must've recorded so much stuff by now. As a hardcore Dragon Age fan, I did end up liking this more than Inquisition and will likely put in more playthroughs.

I'm tired of kicking the dead horse that is Andromeda. When I stopped kicking Inquisition and came back to it about two years later, I downloaded the DLC and picked up where my canon run was almost done. I wish this was the version that Bioware released to the PC. It prompted me to get hyped over Andromeda, but you know how that went. Bioware isn't WB, Gearbox or even lazy Bethesda. However, EA has taught me that Bioware is never going to give you a complete story. It will be dependent on future DLC and modding is out of the question. Well played, EA. EA, Enthusiasm Annihilated.

Sometimes bugs can't be fixed with patches either so the optics are bad that they aren't patching the game, but they just weren't able to fix it with a patch. In the same veins as the clipping bug in Mass Effect 2 where you basically got stuck in geometry and had to reload a save or even quit the game to reload a save.

They most likely started on the dlc's before the base game was released. Considering they would need the same voice actors for any chars from the base game. They may not have finished them before hand, but all a dlc is, is what they wanted in the game but want us to pay more money instead of giving a full game.
