Hello guys, sorry my first thread is to be of a boring/negative nature...
When does this quest become available? I've completed "helping harvarls scientists" I've read online that's the prerequisite, and still nothing, not even a conversation line with torvar is available, Am I missing something?

You need to find the cryo pods on Elaaden after you save the turians on Havarl. After which, Avitus will contact you to talk to him over vidcomm. Then the location will be available.

Did you run across the Turians on Havarl? No not yet, Arrived and started the helping the scientists quest. Okay, so find their camp, it is in its own sort of enclosure in the middle of the map iirc. That will start the quest chain. |

...or talk to the Angaran scientist you saved, he's the one who mentions meeting other aliens.

All sorted now guys, found the turian encampment, and that started the quest chain, interesting though talking to to the angaran scientist I saved didn't start the quest chain, there wasn't even a conversation arm for it? Turians are their own encounter, I always talk to them before saving the Angara tbh. But happy Pathfinding and don't worry about TArc staying on hold for a while. When the two last planets open up, you will get it back on the rails. Also, do not worry about Salarian arc news not showing up for a long, long time. |

LC, when I spoke to the angaran scientist, all all I could talk about was the monolith I think, and the sages, no mention of Turians whatsoever, didn't check my Map for marker though.. Weird. You guys think it could be a bug? Not that it matters the quest is open now.
I absolutely love this game so far, I can ignore bugs to the most part, but bugs that prevent progression In quests, and quests starting proper annoy me.. Hopefully I dont experience to many of those!

When I got that it stops the convo with the scientist about it. |

Really helpful bunch, thank you very much! Yep! I went to Voeld first this time and got the email from Kandros. If you do Havarl first, you learn of the Turians from the Scientist first. I noticed this game has so many different ways to trigger the same events it can get a bit complicated. |
