With profound regret: The Elcor didn't make the ark ship, Francis Kitt's production of Hamlet, featuring an all-Elcor cast had an unexpectedly long run in the Terminous.
With tentative hope: More than one ark ship set out from the Milky Way and the Elcor will arrive in the second or third DLC of ME:A.
With pride: The DLC will be titled, "Elcor of the Lost Ark".

It's unlikely it'll ever happen since they have to create a separate bodytype and movement scheme for aliens like the Elcor and Hanar. Plus can you imagine what a pain it would be to communicate with Elcor in the midst of battle...you're squad would be wiped out awaiting confirmation of orders.  |

I say it would be worth the developement effort to have such unique squadmate in the game. People would go crazy to recruit it. Plus they could then use the Elcor combat set in multiplayer, adding another unique aspect and a big draw/incentive to ME MP mode. Voluses and Geth Primes were huge hits in ME3 MP precisely becase they were so unusual |
