I would think so. Am I blind? XD Hey, if it makes you feel better, I can also barely notice a difference in colour/saturation even with both videos looking at the same thing. I can notice the tree flowers and energy bands in the sky, but not much colour difference. I think I may be partially colour-blind, at least when it comes to hair and fur I seem to be able to see everything else the same as everyone else, just not that sometimes. All I see are some trees have blossoms, some don't? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME. I feel like this is the blue dress all over again LMAO. Which blue dress? I'm curious. I hear you, I think I didn't notice it at first because it wasn't as pronounced as I was expecting. My husband likes to joke that he could take our fridge and put in an entirely new one and it would take me a month to notice. Ahhh yes, the dress. Here is everything you need to know. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_dressWouldn't mind knowing if you see it as blue and black, or white and gold....

Haha Well, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, but since I'm weird my first impression was that it was black and white... because of the sun-glare/reflection Is it supposed to be really pale blue? This doesn't bode well

At 5 seconds for the elf and 9 seconds for the human, you can see the difference in the tree. The elf one has pink leaves/blossoms while the human one is bare. Here are a couple of screenshots from my last run through Trespasser with a Lavellan.

On the dress, I am one of the 10% who see the dress as blue/brown.
The difference between elves and other races in the Crossroads was originally brought out in Masked Empire. In the book Felassan had to actually touch the vegetation before it changed colour, so it would seem to have more to do with the innate elven magical signature than simply having different optical genes. The area in the book was not actually the Crossroads but simply the pocket dimension that the elves had created and the vegetation lined the areas to either side of the paths, which were lit by stones covered in elven runes. The rainbow lights were in the book but there was also a different affect on the humans; they moved slower and found it physically uncomfortable to be there.
The area in the main game looked more like the realm described in the book, whereas there seemed no corresponding area to the one found in Trespasser. What is also odd is that, as I state above, Briala only saw the colour when Felassan touched the grass, although she wasn't adversely affected by the aura like the other people there, even the elf bloodied Michel.
Yet neither Abelas or Solas recognise modern elves as true elves, although Kieran can see their "magical" blood, so it is very confusing. Apparently Lavellan and Sera can see the colour and other differences. Is this because Solas had already passed through the area and so switched on the colour, just as Felassan did? In the book Felassan claimed not to know about the existence of the pocket realm. He could have been lying of course.

Yet neither Abelas or Solas recognise modern elves as true elves, although Kieran can see their "magical" blood, so it is very confusing. My read of that is the former is based on bigotry while the latter is based on biology. Abelas and Solas both come from a very stratified class-based society. In other words, they are both snobs. Solas is just a bit more humanitarian (elfitarian?) Plus, due to the Veil, modern elves appear stunted, crippled, like the Tranquil, to them. Sub-elf. None of that changes the fact that modern elves share ancestors in common with the Evanuris.
