What sort of alternate outfits would you like to see on the squadmates?

This element was something I missed dearly. When I first heard that Loyalty Mission were coming back, I thought the accompanying outfits changes would have come with them. I always the outfits in ME2 they were symbolic of a change in character, and added a small layer of story.

Just some loose ideas here:

Cora - Asari Commando Leathers: predominantly black, with blue secondary colors
Drack - Battlemaster Armor: (Like from ME3's multiplayer; blue and white, just like Kesh's armor
Peebee - Remnant armor: reminiscent of the Heritage armor but less bulky.
Jaal - Angara Commando Armor: same blue aesthetic, with full visor
Liam - Hyper Guardian Armor: redesigned to be a bit more bulky
Vetra - Blue Suns Armor: reference to her time on Omega.

That was my favorite thing about ME2! It made each playthrough feel different when I could change things up visually like that. I have no strong opinions on what they should wear. I just don't want a straight-up recolor, that's all.

To be honest, if Bioware doesn't give us alternate squad outfits, I would be so happy if they at least added the option to change our squad-armour's colours to whatever we want.

What is like to see is casua or non combat wear for squadmates when on the ship or in safe areas, replaced by armor and helmets when in the field. Shepard and Ryder don't wear armor around the ship, so why does everyone else?

like the sound of your suggestions especially peebee & Cora ones, even though I am a fan of peebee default look too.

Any sort of outfits that hinted at who the squad was before the Initiative would be great. We got a lot of their character history through dialogue, but some more visuals would compound the interactions.

For Cora, Drack, Liam, and Vetra, we get outfits that show their past. (Like Drack could have emblems symbolic of the Rachni, Krogan Rebellions, etc.) Peebee and Jaal are more concerned with a better future, so their outfits use newfound tech and knowledge of Andromeda.

TBH, for funnies, I would not mind Liam in shorts and old sandals because he is trying so hard with that personality of his or put a version of that newest Ryder Casual on him... heh. But, yeah, seriously, a big bulky armor, that would be nice.

I am kinda against the idea of asari style armor on Cora, because I spent the whole game convincing her to move on. I would not mind some sort of a fantasy inspired set on her instead, like Kasumi's or Leng's.

There's a couple of turians in casual clothing on the Citacel in the OT, in ME2 there were krogan in casual clothing

Polite krogan (I can see why some people referred to the krogan casual outfit as a gimp suit, he looks like he's wearing mesh clothing over skin like some of the predators/yautja do (it's not the same colour as his face so I think it's green material with a mess design) -

Anyway on the messaging board in the bunk room there's mention of someone finding an ugly sweater, I'd like to see the owner of said ugly sweater wearing it

TBH, it's ridiculous that you can't change your squadmates' armor at all. It started in ME2 and DA2 and it's still a thing to this day.

I've always hated this "unique look" that Bioware wants to peddle because they want to give people sculpted butt catsuits or whatever. I miss true customization.

I want to change the squad's armor to match my armor color so we actually look like a team. (So now, I can't go black and red, because it matches no one) I want to outfit people with armor types that I think suit them. Or maybe I want Drack to wear light armor and show off that krogan physique?

Bring back customization!!!!

Peebee's outfit was perfectly appropriate for the Normandy. It was even a decent outfit, as far as it goes. But dammit, give me at LEAST a sealed enviro-suit for harsh environments.

IMO, that works in a setting like ME trilogy, where the PC is clearly a boss and everyone (or almost everyone) is clearly their subordinate. I don't think it works in DA or MEA, simply because your group is more like a merry band of misfits (with few exception), and if you tried to force them into a uniform, they would either tell you to stuff it where the sun don't shine, or just straight up leave.

Well, they effed it up in the trilogy too after ME1. Everyone got the unique armor treatment and only a few like Garrus, Grunt, and Zaeed made sense.

I don't necessarily disagree on groups that are "merry band of misfits", but I still would like some sort of actual customization of companion armors. Not just switching colors or getting an "upgraded" one later for loyalty or whatever.

Maybe have a bunch of "unique" pieces (like Shepard or Ryder has pieces of armor) that are only for a certain squadmate and that are in the style of that squadmate. You can then unlock and mix and match to make something you like while still keeping the unique style that BioWare/EA apparently love.
