Uh...anyone else experiencing some "difficulties"?
After the patch my game freezes regularly. I played an hour this morning and had to restart four times. The latest freeze resulted in a complete corruption of the game which now will refuse to start (I am going to have to reinstall at this point)
WTF Bioware...are these "stability improvements"?

Usually when it auto-saves, the frame doesn't freeze but the dialogue starts after it finishes.
Now post patch, I had the frame freeze while I was mid-boost but I was able to access the menu to look at the map, ect. It was frozen a good 10-15 seconds but I waited and it went back to normal.
I had it say to reinstall awhile back (corrupt, it said, I think) and all but I was like f' that. I forced closed the game, then rebooted the system. It went back to normal after that. By the way, I'm on PS4. Hopefully, it doesn't occur often.

That never happened to me before. I've been playing since release.

I'm sure it's been reported but the more reported, the better.

game is crashing now like crazy. It also made a ton of auto saves. Not sure what the hell they did, but I had zero issues before this patch. Maybe it screwed up my save.
Edited to add that it's doing some insane shit with the autosave function I have never seen before. This autosave insanity was ALL from me driving in kadara toward where the SOS signal marker is. I stopped to get the memory grabbed the hit the rocks scan then drove to get the relic before the game crashed. At some point it began autosaving like crazy.
Looks like it was related to that part of the map in kadara. Ported to another part and it's going fine so far.

Ryder's hair looks a bit too glossy though. Almost like white highlights on brown hair at times. Was less shiny pre-patch.
Just an observation.
Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention a crash to desktop when approaching the Emergency SOS navpoint for the first time. Worked fine before 1.06. Game just automatically closes. No "Mass Effect Andromeda has stopped responding" or anything like that.

I'm having a lot of freezing and crashing issues on Voeld. Loading saves only works 50% of the time. The other half the game locks up on the loading screen.
After defeating the Architect, part of the mission HUD for that battle remained permanently on my screen. I'll have to fight it again, should I choose to continue.
I'm starting to experience more slowdown bugs than I ever did before the patch.
The game is going crazy with auto saves, creating up to 10 total, and up to three at a time.
I really like most of the changes implemented in this patch. I'm not sure whether I'll push onward; try a totally new game (I started my current one days before the patch); or just go back to HZD for a while. I love MEA, but I don't want to have a burnout. I've played a lot of MEA since release.

I didn't have the save issue when i started a new character last night, but when i logged onto my previous character it autosaved all the time, like 10 saves in a short amount of time. Seems the patch mostly broke on going saves, or that is my guess.

It is annoying, since I am 100% on four worlds, and was about to begin LMs. :/ I started this game a few days ago, despite suspecting that a patch was forthcoming. Those old saves may end up being useful solely for importing/exporting faces to ME Archives.

Yeah just my experience so far, and i am not even on Eos yet, not sure what i might run into in the future. Will keep you posted! My god the shader graphic options though - On the Tempest with it on low i can survive, but on high its a mess. Out in the world it works on high without any issues. Not sure what is going on there. You've played the game a lot it seems. Might be nice to take a break and recharge your batteries, wait for more updates, maybe it will be sorted out by then. Wish i had HZD in my backlog, need a PS4!

Mine didn't come from dying, but from walking away and reloading. Eventually, the save might load; but not before creating multiple autosaves while sitting on the load screen for 3+ minutes. After I stomped the Architect and took its stuff, I found that the "Shoot the Architect in the Head" quest HUD was now permanent. I initiated other quests, closed the game and restarted... nothing helped. Ugh. That was enough for me. I'll probably mess with it tomorrow; but I don't have much patience for game-breaking bugs. They ruined my first date with the Ghost. It was beautiful, before it went bad.

In the rare instance you die while auto saving these load bugs can occur. That's been since before the patch though.

I got Nier. Havent touched Androneda since. Don't know. Try Nier I havent even DL the day one patch and theres no bugs to speak of. It would not fall in line with western work ethics but we should really consider employing Japanese developer structures here. There's a reason why they seem to be better at making fully featured AAA releases that don't bug the hell out.

True, but we gotta learn Square Enix not to cut games up to pieces and sell it as DLC, or patch it in later. Looking at you FF XV.

God, I wish Bioware would hire me to be in charge of their Quality Assurance department. I've been doing software QA for like, a decade, and I actually know what I'm doing. They'd also have to give me enough power to actually make the necessary changes, though, which isn't likely to happen.

Think its possible that with the studio being downsized that the main division will be taking over the new patches/dlc and that ME future titles are on hiatus until they've worked through their current projects?

My only issue is my Ryder keeps slowly moving out of cover, like she's floating or sliding.

PS4 Suggested Action.. check for update. It's up to date. Come on, Bioware. Wtf, mate? Freezing for 10 to 25 seconds, I can let slide. Crashing because I'm approaching a quest.. nah, you are slacking.
