I found Suvi's faith interesting and different. I'm an atheist, but I also found it relatable in the sense that when I was a child (and later, as well) I wondered if Earth, or the life on Earth, or the entire universe could have been "someone's science project", essentially. Which is the kind of creator Suvi envisions.

You can't prove or disprove such things, so if she wants to believe that's what happened, she can go ahead. It's more of an alternate interpretation of reality rather than religion - it's not a clash of ideologies, so it's a lot less messy to disagree about. It's a personal thing, rather than something organized around dogma.

You vote whatever you want too. The whole point is to see who you connected with through the rendering, the writing, the voice acting and the dialogue options. I'm like you though, I just went with all the straight human females. I'm going to start the trilogy again and give it a go with Liara. She is definitely leading the pack among everyone here. Reyes is hanging tough as well despite having been in one installment. He's not that far behind super best friend Garrus and Tali who NEVER even showed her face. That's pretty freakin' impressive.

Another cheap fix by EA that just pissed off everyone invested. I'm telling you, EA or Bioware's PR and marketing people have to be the least innovative of their kind or they just don't care or get it. There isn't a shred of hope with those yahoos.
