Who makes you happy in the Pantalones.

I've romanced Liara/Jack/Liara as a M!Shepard, and for the life of me I can't get the attraction.

I started on a virgin that fainted at the sight of me and babbled how it's so much more than sex, because it's elevated... then my death experience resulted in my propensity to sitting in the cargo hold listening to a girl babble about the other guy till she cried mascara all over my pillow. Then the first girl, the one who used to faint... actually, I don't remember what Liara's romance was in ME3. Jack, she got killed because I was too busy, and cannot be arsed to replay a quest on Citadel.  I recall Liara putting the name tag on the wall while I was laughing my head silly being a god of reapers.


That's pretty much the best I can do as a male character in MET. My standard set up in the games as a male is start with The Slut, end with The Maiden. It mostly works fine. But ME1 had the conflict early, and was short on Sluts.

And to think that in 1998 your poll would have been 4 options for ALL bioware games. Let's drink to that!!!

I think Ashley (ME1 only) is probably the best written of the Bioware romances I've played, though I don't find her all that attractive. I should stress that I mean attractiveness as a composite of someone's looks and personality: I neither find Ash particularly good-looking nor does her personality click with me; she's just "not my type." I just like the way her romance is presented. Conversely, Miranda's probably the "hottest" character, in my book, but her writing feels bare-bones.

I haven't played ME:A, so I can't judge there. I am disappointed, however, that Liara, Tali, and Garrus are winning. Dear God, people, really? The obvious nerd bait and the yes man? Shepard's cheerleaders? I expected more from you, Mass Effect fans. For shame!

Well, I did specify ME1 Ashley. The ME3 version, while better looking, is bafflingly bland and forgettable. Back when I was still playing the trilogy choosing between Ashley and Kaidan was difficult because what I was actually choosing was whether to enjoy Ashley's better content in ME1 and then have to stand her in later games or tolerating Kaidan in the first two games but getting a better experience in ME3.

So the only one to make it from Andromeda into the Top 5 is Reyes. Hard to resist a Bad-Boy, amiright?

Romance, lusted after, whatever... I'm not judging because I don't care. I'm more fascinated with the fact that there are certain characters who were so well-written and given life by the artist, the developer and the voice actor/actress. They basically found a way to connect to a variety of people. In fact, it's literally literal seduction. So yeah, Reyes and PeeBee are hanging close and they don't have the benefit of additional content. This is cool. I could totally see Montreal studios working on side content using Frostbite that would be side stories of loved Milky Way heroes.

If not for that bit with Keiji in Stolen Memory, Kasumi would have about as much depth as a frisbee. I was really disappointed that she had absolutely no proper dialogue on the Normandy, or anywhere else for that matter, outside of her brief (non mission) recruitment and actual loyalty mission. Zaeed suffers the same problem, but I think he had a vastly superior character moment in his loyalty mission, and of course made a stronger entrance. 

I know what you're talking about. She is still cool though and deserved more time in ME3. A lot more time. They should've implemented her into an infiltration mission that would help further tip the scales against the Reapers.

Jack and Miranda, Peebee was a fun fling, not sure about full romance..and, I guess, Suvi.
