Ryder: Hey bitch, wanna fight? Shepard: Wow, you're serious? Ryder: Yeah, I have a jetpack u r fukd Shepard: <Reaves Ryder>, <Warps Ryder> Killfeed: Shepard [Biotic Explosion]Ryder Shepard: lol On a 4th wall level, I wonder if Shepard would possess warp and reave in this new jack setting. That being said, I do wonder how backlash would work against powers like warp and reave. I don't understand why an Adept Shepard would suddenly lose the ability to use powers that had been battle tested over years.... But the Backlash question is a fair point. A very small one though. This all goes back to experience and ability. Shepard is unmatched by Ryder in either department, case closed.

Well, I did say 4th wall, since all characters are essentially slaves to change in the game's mechanics. It's a fair bet that if in some alternate universe Shepard was the protagonist here, you could bet that some powers from the OT wouldn't exist or be replaced by something else outright. In any case, they'd just charge at each other constantly replenishing their shields, until eventually a singularity is formed and a big chunk of the galaxy is taken with them. A testament to the raw killing power of BioWare protagonists.

Shep don't need no Sam, Shep would find Sam lacking in intelligence. As for the Ryder's: Shep would most likely bang the both of them then send them to a far off planet in the terminus system to collect and polish rocks.

I'm sure it'd survive the impact. In any case, I don't use no dang N7 armor.

How else would Shepard open locked doors? Omnigel like in ME1 Ah but according to Liara, security protocols were updated so that doesn't work anymore. I try not to think about omnigel. I don't know what the writers were thinking when they invented that stuff. Like…..is it some kind of nanite-infused goop that you just slather on a lock and it does the rest?

Doubles as a plasma ammo mod against synthetics.

Shepard's only died twice.
Ryder's got, what, three times by the end of the game?
I'm not sure if that's a plus or a minus, but it's sure as hell something.
Anyway, in the question of who wins, the answer is the TV viewing public. And probably eventually the older, more experienced cyborg zombie. As opposed to the AI-tricked-out kid. Depending on how Sam works, Ryder might have more biotic 'endurance' without the need for snacks or a cooldown. But Shepard's always been crazy OP (and just crazy) since day one.
But really, they'd probably careen off to make poor choices together.

Well, technically Ryder is clinically dead twice, but doesn't actually die the third time, since the implant is reset before that happens.

Unless Shepard lived, in which case one and two.

How else would Shepard open locked doors? Omnigel like in ME1 Of course Omnigel. Omnigel made from Shep's spit and sexual juices can perform countless miracles, so-much-so that Shep's Omnigem is now lore, law, truth and fact.

I can honestly say I wouldn't get it even if it were free. I like you're honesty and feel your review is as valid as anyone elses. But I respectfully disagree. I would pay anything to play as Shepard in free DLC. Anything. Shepard is dead. Get over it!
